As a musician, I’ve got our whole band wearing Eargasms. It was the first nicer ear protection, beyond cheap foam plugs, I have purchased and I’ve been quite pleased. With their little keychain tin, they are always on me. I also do photography in our community for the city and county; when I’ve had to get up close to a band, or just going out to concerts, I am so tickled hearing protection is at the ready. Thanks for the fab vid. I’ve been curious about the Loops.

I love your review girl! i am autistic aswel and the first loops i ordered where the Quiet one's for sleep. they where definitly a sleep saver and i mostly end up using them during the daytime aswel, because its just to much to handle, the daily life. So i also ordered the Engage one's and patiently waiting!

Could you elaborate on why you don't like the loop switch?
I have the engage and I honestly quite like the occlusion effect when I'm alone, because it gives me something consistent to focus on, but it's annoying when talking to someone - your video finally convinced me to try the flare calmer.

Sure, I don’t like the switch because of the occlusion, the feel of them to touch and also how big they feel in my ear ☺️

Thank you so much for this review ❤ I have the Flare. I have been looking at both Loop and Eargasm for me and my son. Me, because I have frequently migraines which I believe led to me developing misophonia and hyperacusis. My son, who is on the autism spectrum and is also very sound sensitive. I have been extra curious about the Switch since it’s 3-in-one, but since you don’t recommend it, I’m now leaning towards not getting that one.
I have another question… which one would you recommend for sleep? I have been using for ear plugs, but would like a more sustainable solution 😊

For sleep I highly recommend the Ropone sonic guard ropone.us/?sca_ref=5613444.gW8oYkqQZd

    Great video PHD!
I'm still divided though. I haven't been diagnosed but my brother has auditory processing disorder and we very much have the same symptoms. I don't have a problem with thinking clearly or being calm and am not neuro spicy but in loud environments, I'm lucky to pick up every third word of someone talking directly to me. I thought the loop engage but maybe the flare is better. I also only have headphones not earbuds because things fall out of my ear easily. Which do you reckon?

Thinking about loop quiet for sleep, but with needing to be present for parenting which do you find yourself reaching for first? I don’t love the thought of occlusion, but if it helps with noise sensitivity, I could get used to it!

I reach for my engage for day to day as they reduce occlusion and allow me to hear my kids. For sleep I have just tried BetSlumber and love them. Watch this space for an intro video!

Hi! I could use your opinion !! So I cannot figure out which would be best for myself and can't really afford to try them all at once. Id like to know your best GUESS as to which to try first.... My son was diagnosed with Sensory processing disorder (4 years old possible ADHD or autism) and I'm starting to notice some likeness with myself but one thing I'm struggling hard with is the constant repetitive noises from my son. I never noticed this until I had my son but maybe because it's more in quiet situations but either way it drives me insane and i think it's more than my ADHD. I'm wondering if these will help because in the meantime I become irritable with my son and I feel awful about it after because I don't want to dampen his personality just to make myself comfortable ! So if I'd VERY MUCH appreciate your feedback!

Hey! I’d be glad to help! Because you need to hear your son but dampen down triggering sounds for you I’d recommend the loop engage. They will allow you to concentrate and still be a present parent but give you some peace 💜 loop-earplugs.sjv.io/5gQRN2

I’m curious about this too. Can you wear your hearing aids with any of these? I have significant hearing loss in one ear, but I’m also struggling with sounds as a neurodivergent. I’m looking into these type of ear plugs but don’t know how to implement them….wear one and keep my hearing aid on?

Hey! I wear loops with my hearing aids and I wear eargasms for loud music etc when I don’t need my aids 💜

I play a lot of musical instruments and my accordion, chord organ, and my concertina are quite loud- especially my chord organ. I would also like to use the same earplugs I would use for my instruments so that I can spend time with my dad while still hearing clearly (he talks very loudly and listens to the TV very loudly due to hearing loss). In addition, I hate the occlusion effect many earplugs create. I was wondering which earplugs you'd recommend for my situation?

It's interesting how you talk about ear plugs but you were hearing aids why would you wear ear plugs if you have hearing aids you just won't be able to hear with ear plugs

Because they have 30% hearing loss, not 100%.

      @purpleheartdesign9014  8 місяців тому +3

Hey! I have 30% hearing loss and fast processing to sounds plus sensory issues to sounds being neurodivergent. I will make a video explaining this further. Also, to add even with hearing loss you need to protect the hearing you have 💜✨
