how visible are the clear ones? im looking to get some for school mostly but the teachers wouldn't allow me to wear them and i dont want other kids to notice me wearing them. and i cant stand having my hair not tucked behind both ears so i cant cover them over like that

Great video PHD! I'm still divided though. I haven't been diagnosed but my brother has auditory processing disorder and we very much have the same symptoms. I don't have a problem with thinking clearly or being calm and am not neuro spicy but in loud environments, I'm lucky to pick up every third word of someone talking directly to me. I thought the loop engage but maybe the flare is better. I also only have headphones not earbuds because things fall out of my ear easily. Which do you reckon?

What gauge size are the mutes?

Shouting classmates, basketball coach whistle, loud shouting in sports, etc. Could you kindly suggest which one of these might help her? Could you elaborate on why you don't like the loop switch? I have the engage and I honestly quite like the occlusion effect when I'm alone, because it gives me something consistent to focus on, but it's annoying when talking to someone - your video finally convinced me to try the flare calmer.

I play a lot of musical instruments and my accordion, chord organ, and my concertina are quite loud- especially my chord organ. I would also like to use the same earplugs I would use for my instruments so that I can spend time with my dad while still hearing clearly (he talks very loudly and listens to the TV very loudly due to hearing loss). In addition, I hate the occlusion effect many earplugs create. I was wondering which earplugs you'd recommend for my situation?

Great review! I was looking for something like this that compared all three standalone loops with the Switches! But many reviews just talk about the “gimmick” aspects not the actual difference of when and why you would prefer just the regular standalone. I also ready own all three types and before Loops made an upgraded case I just kept the case from my Eargasms. So I carry multiple pairs around and thought the Switch would help me cut back, but looks like they’d be more of a gimmick than something useful for me.

Wished I found your channel earlier! I bought loop engage recently, and while the noise reduction is great, I hate hearing my own breathing and chewing noises, plus it is harder than expected to communicate with people while wearing it. I expect it will be more useful going to the cinemas or party. Sounds like eargasm would be a better fit for work purpose, and flare calmer sounds perfect for general use. Hope to get a pair of each soon. Thanks for sharing!
