    M18 FUEL™ 21 Degree Framing Nailer (Bare Tool)
    Our M18 FUEL™ 21 Degree Framing Nailer sets the new standard for cordless framing nailers. By leveraging our nitrogen spring mechanism, POWERSTATE™ brushless motor, and REDLINK™ Intelligence, this nailer provides you with pneumatic performance and the convenience and freedom of cordless power. Delivering the power to sink full round head nails into dense engineered lumbers, this framing nailer allows you to tackle even the most demanding framing applications. To keep you productive and efficient throughout the day, the framing gun fires 3 nails per second with zero ramp-up time, meaning a nail is fired as soon as you pull the trigger. Additionally, the cordless framing nailer operates using only our REDLITHIUM™ Batteries (not included) and sealed compressed nitrogen to drive each nail, completely eliminating the cost of gas cartridges and maintenance associated with competitors’ nailers. The M18 FUEL™ 21 Degree Framing Nailer delivers the pneumatic performance and durability that professional carpenters and remodelers expect, without the hassle of a compressor and hose or gas cartridge. Battery and charger sold separately.
    Power to sink nails in engineered lumber
    Tool free drive depth adjustment
    Dry fire lockout
    Zero ramp-up time
    Sequential and contact actuation firing modes
    Rafter hook included
    On / Off power button

    Received my 21 degree 2 days ago, shot some samples with my 2ah battery and although it did throw the low charge after a bump fire test, it drove all 5 samples deep in to the wood. Nails: smooth shank 2 1/2” 8d, 3” 10d and 3 1/2” 16d; galvanized 3” ring shank 10d and 3 1/2” 16d. Wood: 40 yr old fully cured 2x8 floor joist. Excellent release from Milwaukee, well worth the late release. My 5ah battery just came in and although I won’t do another test, I’m sure it will outperform and outshine the 2ah.

    I already bought the 30 degree nailer and in PA that’s all we really use so I won’t have much need for the 21 degree. But great review keep em coming.

    I just picked this up recently and look forward to using it. You're right about the weight. It's not super heavy but I imagine it will catch up to you after a full days work.

    Broski your new studio is really coming together congrats! I just picked this up last week at my local depot. Yep, in store! Here in South Florida 21 degree framing nails are what’s used. You’re right about it being freakin heavy. Still awesome though. I noticed the narrow crown stapler is in store too. $279 though! Thanks bro Milwaukee did a great job on these framing nailers it seems like all framing nailers are pretty heavy and cumbersome at least you don’t need cartridges or compressors!

    Still haven’t got mine YET, but I will darn it, lol. Yes, it is gonna be a heavy beast, but with it being cordless with no hose or compressor.....it’s a trade off I’ll gladly take. Eventually, do believe battery nailers will get lighter, till than, if doing a lot of production nailing., might not want to retire the hoses just yet😉 Otherwise, super excited to get & start using.
    Cheers🤙🏼

    Pneumatic stick guns are 7.5lbs+ so only a couple lbs more not pulling a hose around. Coil framers which I prefer are 9lbs+ already. I already tested out a 30 degree m18 and plan on buying one and selling all my framers. I will deal with not having the luxury of coil nails vs cordless.

    Ha ha! That twin! At least he helped. When someone helps us i guess should take our lumps along with it. Lol As far as outside noises like the flagpole, or dogs barking, or even a faint lawn mower sound goes, i appreciate them and the fact that you're in a natural outside setting. Just my opinion. I like it. Thanks for the video and God bless! 😁👍 P.S. nice nailer!

    I was really interested in one of these until I tested it... It fires amazing, but they've GOTTA do something about the weight. It's fine if you're firing with a straight wrist, but as soon as you need to get in weird angles your wrist takes a beating. It's like carrying around the M18 7 1/4" saw all day. I know it'll likely be years away, but I'm hoping for Gen 3 they can figure out a way to get the weight closer to a pnuematic. 8lbs with 3aH battery would be amazing.

    The gun - 30 degree here in New Zealand don't have the bump fire mode due to law. When I use the sequential mode it can't fire as fast as yours as shown in this video ! And it drives me crazy!
    Can you please confirm that the sequential mode fires as fast as bump fire mode or not?

    • @ToolReviewZone

    • @sparksmcgee6641
      @sparksmcgee6641 2 роки тому +2

      haha nitrogen isn't consumed by the use. basically it's a mini compressor that charges the nitrogen and that pressure fires the nail

    • @usdpaulp
      @usdpaulp Рік тому

      @Sparks McGee fake news. It leaks out and you have to send it to Milwaukee to get refilled. Lasts about 9 months w heavy daily use. You can take it apart yourself and refill it at a car repair shop, if you feel adventurous. A few vids show how to do it.

    @jakerrush 3 роки тому +2

    Things I don't like:
    1. The power button. Dewalts system is much better. it should stay on when there's a battery In it
    2. Everytime it turns off you have to reset it to bump mode. I have no use for single fire. If i want single fire ill single fire it
    3. The recoil is way worse than pneumatic
    4. Belt hook: I find its too thin to practically hook onto my tool belt. and who uses a framing nailer without their belt on? its rare
    Things I do like:
    1. Power- Even at the lowest depth of drive, it still sinks nails into regular lumber
    2. Comfort- it's a comfortable gun to hold and use (minus the weight)
    3. HOSELESS
    All in all its nice to have but will never replace pneumatic

    • @jakerrush

      @@jaklago If it drops 4 pounds and battery life triples then it'll have a chance at replacing pneumatic. Until then weight will always be the deciding factor-not to mention cost

      @jeffd4056 2 роки тому

      People being silly
      Cost is not a factor
      If you own milwaukee already you have batteries
      Air compressor air hose
      Inconvenience of coiling up hose
      Gas for compressor
      Nah it’s a great tool
      Cheaper in the long run
      Just in timed saved alone in set up and tear down at the beginning and end of the day
