Very informative vlog folks. Our family has visited Benidorm 3 or 4 times a year for the last 25 years and fully agree it has something for everyone. Well done for trying the tapa. The Old Town tapas alley area is renowned throughout Spain as being tremendous quality. Keep up the good work.

The wife and I absolutely adore tapas. Funnily enough we don't have a lot of experience of Spain, but we have had an association with Gibraltar and have visited many times over the years. One of our favourite nights out is to walk across the border to La Linea, and go to a tapas bar there, along with the locals! Absoulute ly a lovely night out (and 1/2 the price of similar in Gib!)
So pleased for the both of you, you've obviously had a smashing time. Thank you for showing us all of Benidorm, very diverse and nothing like Blackpool! I stayed in what was called then the LOS Pelicanos after it had just been built in 1972 for 2 weeks with a load of lads from down the pub, messy, but it put a smile on my face for weeks later and that's what a good holiday is about. Paella is hit and miss even with the Spaniards as there are different types! The one you had is made with squid ink and fish stock so it’s very strong. The traditional one is chicken and rabbit with more of a chicken stock/sofrito made with veggies, a lot less pungent and overpowering. But yeah it’s hit and miss good on you for trying the seafood one! Also props to you both for your Spanish pronunciation my fiancé is Spanish and he’s very impressed 👏🏻👏🏻

Loved todays visit to old town and tapas ally we always head that way when we used to go up as it only less than an hour drive to Benerdorm from our home in Algorfa spain love it xxthanks for taking the time to share it with us we used to stay at santos monaco spa hotel a couple of times a year when they had ex pats deals not been since hubbys strike but one day night get back now he is walking bertter xxxx❤❤❤❤❤

The 'mousse' like stuff on top of your bread, that Sharon liked so much, is called 'Russian Salad' or ensaladilla rusa. Despite the name, its a very typical Spanish dish - we love it! Great vids, guys x ❤

In Alicante town, the commercial area where all the big shops are is a fab tapas bar that sells those tapas on bread that you enjoyed. When a hot tapas comes out of the kitchen the waiter rings a bell to let you know. Tapas comes in all forms in spain . I believe it started as a small piece of bread that was used to cover the top of your glass to keep flies etc off your drink, later it evolved and the bar person would add toppings. What you had looked delicious... modern tapas! You really enjoyed your tapas experience.. fab!
We have been binge watching your Benidorm vlogs nice memories of years gone by sol pelicanos stayed there a couple of times, last time we went to Benidiorm 2019 we stayed in The Don Pancho excellent hotel, Rhodes this year can't wait you have a fantastic time wherever you go 😊😊

Nice one folks ! Got to love a bit of Benny as well as Tapas alley . The ones on the bread with the stick are called pintxos but pronounced Pinchos , and are usually smaller versions of tapas which are normally in small plates /dishes . So many lively ones and very creative . You must always try the local food instead of trying to find English eateries etc , it’s the thing to do. Pinchos often swilled down with Cana which is a very small beer. Glad you have had a great time , but so much more to see and do there and more culture if you go looking proper . Thanks for sharing 😎

Benidorm was one of the first places I went to on holiday back in the 70's The place I was saying in was in the middle of the road going from the old town to where you had to go under a small tunnel by two blocks of hotels etc too get you to the other side of the road and onto the beach. Beautiful there. You could walk to another place further on . Or you could get a taxi to it and then come back to you apartment were we was staying. I would like to go there again sometime. It's probably changed a lot over the years. But I found it wonderful. 😊😊

Many of the roads here in Poole are being dug up with many cables being laid, so we just might be getting the same crossing timers..it's about time too..

We were only in the Prince Park for three days and then moved on to our apartment about 300 yards away, otherwise I am sure that we would have said hello. Hope to see you next time you visit. We visit three times a year for a month each time.

Absolutely loving these videos.. we are big lovers of beni... the highlight of your vlog would be a night at benidorm palace.. or a wee walk down the main party strip at 1am it's a wild one at that time lol.. benidorm palace is very classy tho I must say. Well worth a visit..
Nuther cracker, am sure the Benidorm Council will be delighted you have portrayed them in such a loving and positive light. Seems like they deserve it though. Martin you do not deserve the kind of pain you have put up with. I would have prefered you both get one of those mobility scooters to match each other and filmed as you have done. We needn't have noticed with a bit of discreet camera work. Am grateful for the look around though, thankyou as ever :)

Hello Sharon and Martin I've loved your week in Benidorm videos . We love Tapas it means small Spanish savour dishes usually eaten and small bars around Spain . I'm sure Sharon and Martin you would be able to create some of the Tapas dishes when you return home 🧡.

Absolutely loving these videos.. we are big lovers of beni... the highlight of your vlog would be a night at benidorm palace.. or a wee walk down the main party strip at 1am it's a wild one at that time lol.. benidorm palace is very classy tho I must say. Well worth a visit..
Nuther cracker, am sure the Benidorm Council will be delighted you have portrayed them in such a loving and positive light. Seems like they deserve it though. Martin you do not deserve the kind of pain you have put up with. I would have prefered you both get one of those mobility scooters to match each other and filmed as you have done. We needn't have noticed with a bit of discreet camera work. Am grateful for the look around though, thankyou as ever :)
