Super super helpful! Thank you very much for taking the time and effort to share in detail ALL the Homeschool curriculum and personal experiences! Many Heavenly Blessings to ALL!
I highly recommend you do Far Above Rubies with your daughters once they're in 7th to 12th grade. It's a unit study based on Proverbs 31:10-31 with nine school subjects and twenty units divided into three to five themes each. The curriculum is very flexible to your children's interests, learning styles, and skills. You'd probably enjoy the Streams of Civilization textbooks under the subject of Cultural Studies in Far Above Rubies.
We dropped off in history right where you did and I'm so excited for the next school year! We used master books last year bur I wasn't enthusiastic about it especially since we enjoyed our readalouds the most so I'm switching to Beautiful Feet Books intermediate. I think it will be a better fit for our family.
I love the look of BFB. My daughter is in 7th right now and we are doing a government unit this year....would it be too young for her in 8th grade? I know it's picture books and not alot of chapter books, but really I feel like sometimes you learn more with picture books. Also, could. you share your google doc? Thank you!
My kids are in 3rd and 4th grade. Would you suggest this curriculum for them or the intermediate level? They are both advanced readers, but these books all just look so lovely. I’ve even considered using a mix of the two.
Can I ask why you are switching to sonlight history next year instead of beautiful feet again? I’m interested in both curriculum and trying to decide which history to do!
I looked at and considered both. I talked to someone who has kids a little older than mine and who has done both and her experience was that Sonlight would probably be a better fit for my kids ages and the BFB better for older middle school kids.

I use Character Concepts along with We Choose Virtues…these are some great resources, thank you!
Wow, what a fantastic school year y’all had! Love all the books and variety you covered.
Such a great selection of books!
Thanks! We enjoyed them!

@@thepracticalhomeschooler thank you! You are amazing 🤩
Hi, I went to access your Google doc for BFB and it’s saying I need to request access.
Can you please share good books your kids are reading for leisure
Yes that video is coming 😊
When I tried to access the planning sheet on Google docs it said I needed to wait for access approval. Anyone else have that problem?
Yea for some reason I can’t share it publicly… I’ve tried a couple things and it doesn’t work. But I always share it when I get a request
