Yeah you sort of have to weight the cost of that burger against how many JR bacon cheezeburgers you can get from wendy's or a double patty burger from Culver's or Maybe a Wisconsin swiss melt from them.
Review Bruh always seems to pay very high prices, especially at McDonalds’s. Makes me wonder if he’s in a tourist driven area.

@@BeyondDaX I've tried both of these once each. In & Out was really good, Five Guys grossed me out. I've never heard of Shake Shack, there are none around here. We do have Steak N Shake. But those are kinda mushy. Not a fan of fast food at all. Except for Chick-fil-A. But the closest one is 30 miles away.

So I just had the Shake Shack Bourbon Bacon Cheddar Burger last weekend, and thankfully for me it looked nothing like the unfortunate mess you had. It was pretty dang good. Someone at SS was clearly just not having a good day when you came in. Not that you're ever starved for content, but you ever thought about doing follow up episodes, where you revisit products that disappointed you, and see if maybe it was made better the 2nd time around?
Love that jacket my dude, I felt the drama just simply watching you eat without risking messing it up.

You can just tell that, as he bites into it, of the absolute foulness he has had the displeasure of tasting. Its as if, he had in his mind, contacted the old gods for eldritch wisdom, for he could not fathom what the heck that flavor combination could possibly have hoped to achieve. His day was infact ruined, and his disappointment, immeasurable.

That was a sloppily prepared $10 burger. The onions and Shack sauce were on maybe 1/4 of it. Thank you for the honest review, as always. Side note: the way I would describe food that’s been charred too much is acrid. I only excuse it when I’m at a family grill out, or I do it myself. 🙂

as a former shake shack worker, the grill is too hot. its like that to make the burgers cook quicker. it does often char the outside just to make the orders go out faster

As a former Shake Shack employee, it looks like that patty (or even entire burger) had been sitting in the window under a heat lamp for awhile. Not great stuff haha
The fact that fast food sits in a window for any amount of time is shamefully. But then again fast food isn't real food, and the people cooking it are barely cooks, they are professional reheaters. Nobody makes food they, they assemble product that's it. Always looking to cut corners to make as much money as possible. Don't care about the food. Only about the money.

Not everything is reheated at all fast food places lol. Shake shack is incredibly overrated. I never walk away from there feeling full and the food is just okay at it’s best.
Save your money and go to mom and pop places. Fast food today is bad quality, is never fresh and a complete waste of money besides pizza places. I think the fast food hey day is becoming a thing of the past. my local bowling alley cafeteria makes better burger and fries than any fast food chain. To be fair, you know what you’re getting with fast food so you pay the price at your own expense. And the price also reflects what toppings are on the burger, side and drink if you chose that option. 10-12$ is average price for a large meal deal.
And burgers at restaurants and certified burger joints have always been over 10$ and you know you’re getting quality.
Once you get the fries and the drink the price is way up there. Instead go to LongHorn Steakhouse and get the big delicious cheeseburger. Get it medium rare or medium with cheese of your choice. Add bacon. Order with light burger sauce and seasoning and tell them to go easy on the char. Get it with hot fries. Their awesome salad is an extra buck 50 if you're really in full meal mode. Enjoy with a soft drink or beer and on the lunch menu I think it costs even less than shake shack but don't forget the tip. Hot cha cha.

I was sure the reason for your disappointment would be the lack of lettuce and tomato. I am absolutely dumbfounded that anyone would ever make a hamburger without them. As for the charred taste I feel your pain. I had a meatloaf sandwich that was burned a couple of months ago and still haven't gotten over it. That burned taste truly ruins everything and stays with you for a long time afterwards.

A few yrs back they opened a shake shack near my house. A buddy and I spent 45 mins at the drive thru, got our burgers. We each ate one bite, threw it out the window, and went to McDonald's. Don't just not eat at sh*t shack, don't even drive on their road.
I am legitimately so happy to have seen this channel grow from 15k subscribers.
I had 1 the other day, beef quality was great. The topping was left over scraps of old bacon from the bottom of the pan mixed with the sauce and onions. Should have gotten just a regular burger with actual pieces of bacon not the leftovers.
Only time I ever had a $10 single patty burger was in the Gold Nugget Casino, and that was one incredibly good burger, had one every day during our stay in Reno.
I had a 16$ chicken sandwich at Mandalay Bay that was Fkin killer. Lol I went back like three times when I was there.
If I didn't hate Gambling, I'd go. I love being on the hunt for a good burger because I'm trying to learn how to perfect a burger. I love cooking. wonder if they'll let me just go in there and eat food if I'm willing to pay.

In my opinion, Fast Food restaurants need to be held accountable for their products. We need to force them to a higher standard by literally not purchasing their "food". Eat at a local burger joint instead. 90% of the time, their food tastes better anyways (and is actually real meat), and you're creating competition for the Fast-Food giants. Well this is the first time I'm actually seeing this suit it looks very nice and I like the color contrast it has. I'm so used to seeing you in the darker colored suit it's kind of nice to see you in a lighter card suit. I do like the tie it kind of ties in with the whole suit. Although I think maybe a lighter colored vest might have gone better with this. I don't know but I do like it. I like it a lot.

Your policy at 9:04 is actually what I think all food reviewers and critiques should be about. Getting the experience that everyone else gets means you’re getting the standard that the fast-food restaurant established.
That being said, if they had known you were one of the greatest food reviewers of all time, they would’ve made the burger the best burger they ever made. But that’d be a lie of a review if others did not have the same quality served to them as well.

Dear chap, these dapper suits would look so much more wonderful if you'd get a tailor and have them tailored to fit you more properly. You positively swim in them and you have so much potential to really fulfill the aesthetic you're going for.

It's called being active and not sitting on your behind all day.. He probably doesn't snack between meals either.. Too many people eat for entertainment and not for survival.. There's nothing wrong with enjoying the food you eat but we don't need to eat 3 huge meals, a bag of chips, and a bag of cookies every day to survive..
The fact that the infamous butterfly shrimp review was the next recommended video after this one made me know what to expect from this item

Love the jacket. The vest is too dark for me, I'd go to something lighter and bring it together it in with the tie (which I think you did).
the burger disappoints. but your review does not. that charred burger aftertaste is very accurate indeed. I agree with you it might be the preparation that purged the what might be an excellent burger.

Whoever applied that dollop of shack sauce should be terminated. One little blob of it with no distribution of sauce throughout the burger. No respect for quality burger satisfaction.

I’m a New Yorker. I and my friends think they’re burgers are both crap and overpriced.
as a New Yorker whose lived all his life in NYC, I've been to it twice in my life. It's ok. I think it's only beloved by Manhattanites who enjoy a burger restaurant with an "atmosphere", so to speak. I much prefer Five Guys as that has a blue-collar vibe with its burgers that I prefer and portions that match the price.

Bodegas got more prestige than shake shack.
My first impression when you showed the burger was that it was way over cooked. If I am ordering a thin burger, I expect it to be cooked through and through. But when I buy a thicker burger, I expect it a bit on the medium rare side, not burnt to a crisp. I have never had a Shake Shack, now I am reluctant to try one.
Granted, most fast food restaurants or Five Guys for example require their burgers to be “Well Done” as to not create illnesses from undercooked meat.
I rarely get Five Guys (for the sanctity of my waistline) but it always slaps!
