She is a USN Hospital Corpsman, working in the Lab there. Mostly doing Covid related work. The pictures she sent me are Beautiful. Japan and it's culture is truly amazing. It's about a man walking alone in the dark, losing signs of direction, he can't find the moon in the sky, he only can see the starry night. It's real meaning is about a man (a philosopher maybe) is looking for meaning of his life.
Does anyone know where Teresa Teng was laid to rest? Likely, I think, in the RoC somewhere. If I ever manage to carry out my wish to visit E. Asia, meaning Japan, the RoC, and the RoK, I very much would like to place a bouquet at her grave site or memorial. Misora Hibari as well. Two of the greatest popular singers is history. I include all of Europe and America in that assessment. I just can't think of any who were better, or more influential.
