Just bought one from Wold Market for my daughter and couldn’t figure this out. T UA-camd it and your video was the first to pop up. Thank you for this!
The ball is at the top and is how the bottle is sealed. That is why there is no bottle cap or closure. It is a very unique system and when you use the special green piece, it pushes the glass ball out and opens the bottle.
One of my fave movies - will look for them... I'm always on the hunt for toys and if I could get the original Ghostbusters car, that would be a score...
You just need to twist the cap off (the blue part). No need to break it:) This brings back memories to me -- I also used to drink ramune when I was little
They actually sell these in my country! :) I've always seen them in the Asian food aisle at the supermarket but never actually known what they were, so I never bought one. Now that I know, I'm going to try all the flavours next time I go down to the supermarket. Love your videos.
There's a con that comes to where I live once a year and they sell these for two for five dollars. They're so good; I can't wait to go during May and buy a whole bunch of them. ^.^
I got you now... Just wanted to make sure... A "Con" Artists means someone that is tricking or trying to fake you.. I have those old school words in my mind some times... :)
I really like your videos! You're always in such a cheerful mood and remind people to just have fun no matter what! Great videos! Keep up the good work!
That is cool! I guess that explains the Grandads collection! That would be so cool to see - I checked out some of your vids! made me laugh... funny stuff...!
My friends dad cut the plastic blue rim off. It takes a little bit of cutting since its really thick. Also my friend who once lived in Japan and was half Japanese pronounced it Rah-Ma-Na
It's better to just drink it out of the bottle, because the marble is what makes it carbonated, I recall. It'll stay carbonated longer if you drink it directly from the bottle, rather than pouring it out into a cup. Just a tip. :D
your actually supposed to press the top down until it is done fizzing, I buy these all the time and that happened to me the first few times I opened it =)

Thanks for the kind words and I'm glad the videos show that! Thanks for watching.
Yep and thanks for checking in and watching our video!
We recently did grape, and have some more drinks coming up... Thanks for watching.
The marble is how the bottle is sealed - then it has a purpose for spilling and it is also just fun to watch it.
That is what I read about the bottles - so they have a long history and I would like to see that collection :)
I did not think that at all.. :) I just some times cut to the answer and forget to put in the :) I appreciate it very much..
Yep, it is worth it and fun to try new things.
Thank you very much for explaining to me how to open it. It took me almost an hour to open one for my son.
Thanks :) much appreciated..

Yep.. there are so many different ways. The next video I'm going to just say them all :) thanks for watching...
:) I have given up on Japanese pronunciations... next time I think I will just say glass bottle :) Thanks for watching...
You probably have some Japanese markets in your area, they would have it. The Hello Kitty was from a World Market.
Now that is cool - what country are you in ?
It is worth it to give it a try and it is fun to open... Get the fizz... :)
Hey there! Thanks for watching ..:)
That is used to seal the bottle. Like a bottle cap on most bottles. The marble gets pushed in to open it.
ive been drinking ramune forever... never knew the dent is to prevent it from closing the bottle... thanks :D
If you ever have kids, daughters specifically, that will come in handy :) I speak from experience on that....
I love drinking those!!!
Awesome!!!! Cool design.
Thanks for the support! I wonder what people watch with no talking to show a product :) Imagine that infomercial?
I love ramune sodas!
i love japanese soda with the bitty marble
Well, many people smashed the bottles, some cut the top and yes, there are some that are easily twisted in reverse.
I love ramune :)
My family buys these everytime we go to the store
And now...I have to go buy some Ramune lol Strawberry Ramune is my favorite :3
I'm sure you can, I have not looked, but you can get a lot of things on Amazon
You just need to twist the cap off (the blue part). No need to break it:)

I can not wait until Graduation day, because I have that ramune to drink as my celebratory drink.
That is a cool memory... and your method for getting them out ?

This was at a World Market in Illinois
It is long gone now :)
Yaay! Strawberry.
They still sell these; i go to my aunts asian market and buy it all the time!

I really love ramune
Speed is the key - fast and furious :)
Hey lucky penny shop your vids are awesome
I watched this because it was hello kitty and it was a drink and it was from lucky penny shop!!
Hey Kat! I'm not hinting :) but I have a bunch of HK items near the video booth :)
It's better to just drink it out of the bottle, because the marble is what makes it carbonated, I recall. It'll stay carbonated longer if you drink it directly from the bottle, rather than pouring it out into a cup. Just a tip. :D
This is sooo cute! and looks delicious. c:
i love ramune!
The marble is a gift, it's your duty to retrieve it.
This is awesome! I may be a straight male but for some reason hello kitty makes me turn into a giddy school girl and i'm not afraid to admit it. :P
A Japanese grocery store near us.
This was at our World Market
I'll try going to the Japanese supermarket someday and find all these cool sweet snack and drinks =w=
A lot of people break the bottle and some of the tops reverse threads and they do come off.
I deleted their comment and thanks! We want a kid friendly place
Yep, but we are setting that up...wait for the intro video..
We got this at a World Market
Yay you uploaded it! :D HELLO KITTY..
I love Ramune. I get it at Jungle Jim's International Market in Cincinnati, Ohio.
they serve these i a lot of Asian or Chinese restaurants. my brother and i used to get them all the time!!! although they were not hello kitty themed.
Aww I miss these I used to have them alot
I like that stuff. :-)
The orange flavor is the best (My opinion :3)
The lucky penny that is..
I love ramune. asian food grocer is a great website for a good variety of ramune and japaese snacks. I've bought from them a long time.
We have to get them retail -
Ramune is my favorite
I remember buying these . . . I found it interesting that the soda is much less sweeter than American products.
That is a third way I guess... :)
i always buy that kind of soda just for the marble xD
I like this :P
because its so great
I want some Ramune soda now
The bottle design is called a Codd Neck bottle. There is a wiki page about it. its originally from england,
