hi, Could you have a special guest to show how to install a hho kit on both an efi system and old-school carburettor car as this would help a lot with your channel as well as promote HHO on a more professional level as your channel seems to be one of the only that looks quite professional and well laid out as well as informative.
Don't worry about frequency, it won't make any difference. Just keep mixing your electrolyte stronger until you can get your desired amp draw cold. Set your PWM to that desired amp draw and let the current limiting feature keep it at the setting you want. The PWM will pulse to keep the amps draw the same. The cell will still heat up but not as fast.
@welder08arek You add enough to get the amount of amp draw you require. Maximum concentration is 28% by weight or about 1lb in 1 gallon. I use about 10 tbsp/liter.
hello mike, i just want congratulate you for your job, it is really helpfull for people like me that pretend to start a business with new energy, clean and safe. god bless you
Mike, long time no see! How are you? I'm still very active in the HHO arena. Just now found this 2011 video and loved it :) Thanks for posting it. I came here to learn more about how the PWM works and you have given me better understanding of the subject and the differences between the types of PWM - thanks!
It's easy to calculate air flow through the engine: Running RPM * displacement = volume of air passes through the engine. Ex, 0.25litre * 6000 rpm = 1500 litres per minute of air flowing through the engine. If you had an electrolyzer making 1/4 liter of H2 and O per minute, it would be creating 1/6000th of the gases taken in by the engine.
Great video. Extremely professional and helpful. Thank you very much for making this video. You answered questions I've had for a long time. And mentioning the two forums for HHO research is extremely helpful. Thank you very much for making this video. I greatly appreciate it.
Watts are watts, it doesn't matter. The only thing to consider is if you increase the voltage (like 36v instead of 12v) then you will need to increase the number of neutral plates between each + and - plates. So instead of using 5 neutrals for a 12v setup you would use 15 neutrals for a 36v setup.
I have never used a dryer so I don't know how well they work but I know others that use them exclusively. I would say use either a dryer or a bubbler or both. You have your terminology mixed up, there are reservoirs, bubblers (or scrubber, same thing) with a flashport on top, and finally flashback arrestors. Three separate things.
Hello Mike. Thanks for your videos, they have been very informative. I have one question though: If I lower the water temperature before it goes into the cell, will the lower temperatures help the cell to operate at peak performance at more stable conditions?
@hhoconnection Hey no "oops" required! -- you did a superior job and your videos are excellent. No hype or baloney, just straight stuff. I sincerely appreciate the time you take to put these together. People who have never done a video don't understand what goes into it and nobody is forcing you to share your experience and expertise. Thank you. So, Have you ever tried NNCE - non caustic plant based electrolyte?
I can't give you any kind of exact amount but if there is no steam then hardly any at all. You could run a small reservoir all day and maybe see the level go down by an inch or so. Then just top it off with straight distilled water.
The cell behind me was a double cell, in other words two cells side by side with one front plate. The T is just splitting the water in and water out between the two cells.
Only if you don't remove or "scrub" out the electrolyte particles from the HHO gas by using a bubbler or a dryer. The electrolyte particles will corrode anything made out of Aluminum.
To all of you out there with questions on wat electrolyte to use...baking soda is great about a teaspoon or just a little more per qt of water works great
I have no idea at what pressure they blow sorry, I just know they work. As for Aluminum, don't use Aluminum in any part of your HHO project. Electrolyte (either KOH or NaOH) will eat up Aluminum in a hurry. Even the little bit that will get carried over from your reservoir. If you don't believe me, mix up a small batch of electrolyte and drop a piece of aluminum into it. The reaction will make a lot of straight Hydrogen but the aluminum will get eaten up quickly.
Mike You've made the video about how to calculate the size (relative displacements of the amount of gasoline engine carburetor) of dry cell Grato Antonio 22/11/2013
I really want to understand this so I need lots of help. My friend showed me his setup and it seems really cool. You said 1/2 L. per min. for every L. that your vehicle runs off of. If a car runs 5 L. for every 4 cycles and the car runs at 750 rpms, that would be 5 x 750 = 3,750 Lpm. If it requires that 1/2 L. x 5 = 2.5 Lpm. Divide the two to get the ratio of the two: 3,750 / 2.5 = 1,500:1. How much fuel can I save with this recommended setup?
What if you make a loop connection so that the engine produces just about enough voltage to keep it running and regular fuel with hydrogen when accelerating? I think that is the best solution, and would make a great impact bellow the freezing point if you're stuck in the middle of nowhere. Hydrogen works better as a catalyst to regular fuel, so it might be possible with some modifications, but I guess most people want to keep it simple... Been thinking about that for some time, what you think?
DON'T USE SALT! One of the bi-products when using salt is Chlorine gas. Only use Potassium Hydroxide or Sodium Hydroxide. The amount you use depends on how many amps you want to draw. The more electrolyte you use the more amps you will draw.
What do you mean when you say "...guys with tiny little cells trying to squeeze 20 or 30 amps out of them." This is confusing to me, since amperage is a measurement of electricity and you're generating hydrogen (not electricity). Can you please explain what you mean? Thank you for all your great videos!!
When WATER VAPOR is heated up to proximately 700 C, it will decompose to H2 and O. Temperature inside the combustion chamber goes over 1000 C, so more than enough to decompose WATER VAPOR. Simply by sending correct amount of WATER VAPOR into the chambers, it is possible to generate big amounts of HHO without using any HHO generator. I appreciate what you guys do, but I think HHO generators came to market in order to misdirect people and suppress the powers and abilities of WATER VAPOR...
Thanx alot mike :) good video again! If i order from US for more than 40-50$ i must pay duty-and its crazy-it doubles the prize. i live in a TAX + duty + fees country. so im really sory i cant support by $. But ill share later. thanx for the knowledge, its helpfull. I have heard that in 2003 a tech team tried out by injection but the thing that injects into the cylinder doesnt last, and next if injected in the the intake a problem of hot spots in the cylinder occours because ..
Good video! I'm thinking of making my car run entirely on HHO on demand, mainly because I want to save money, but also because it's environmental friendly (theoretically). What I want to know is if you really need to have some kind of electrolyte in it? I know the HHO should reappear as water after combustion, is it then possible to reuse it all over again? I will mainly be using the five piston engine ranging from 1,9 to 2,5 ccm, a typical Audi engine. anything I need to think of before that?
Volo did NOT work for me! (I bought the HHO version) 06 Dodge 1500 with a 4.7 V-8 . My dry cell was producing 2 lts. a min and saw NO fuel mileage improvment. NONE. Not Happy! Threw a lot of money at the project and got nothing in return. Now I can not seem to keep the system together. It keeps springing leaks. Mostly on the reservoir. I am done. I don't even turn it on anymore.
I'm looking to design an efficient and if possible low maintenance hho system for installation into a vehicle. In your experience what material would be best used instead of stainless steel my research has brought these three to my attention as being both efficient and long lasting. Platinum plated copper $40.00@12"x12"x.03" Graphite $9.00@9"x9"x.15" Titanium. $70.00@12"x12"x.03" what would you choose?
ok I know you said you are not a mechanic and I understand that, but I was hoping you might have the answer to my question. ok so I installed 2 31 cells in my s-10 i do get better gas millage but I want more and I have also been seeing people are hermetically vaporizing there gasoline to get way better M.P.G I personally haven't tried this and was hoping you have and if so have you mixed it with the hho? or would you mix it?
Hi Mike, another question. I noticed that there are 2 pipe going into the dry cell and a t piece connecting the tubing. Could you explain this in a video or where could I get a diagram on the water in and gas out to bubbler and flashback arrestor. Thanks Darren
Good video, you covered some good points, all correctly, IMHO. Good job. I just discovered the VOLO chip this week. Have you ever tried NNCE - non caustic plant based electrolyte? I believe MAP is actually "Manifold Air Pressure". Mass Air Flow (MAF) and Manifold Air Pressure (MAP).

Mike I managed to get 2 aluminium drinking bottles and have a 6 Bar pressure relief valve. Is 6 Bar too high? What pressure do your flash ports blow at?

Mixing hydrogen with gasoline or any other fuel is a waste of time. Hydrogen and gasoline ignite at a different rate. The only way to use HHO in a combustion engine is to eliminate the gasoline completely. The oxygen is what you want if you are mixing with gasoline. The oxygen aids in the combustion of the gasoline, making the gasoline burn more efficiently, i.e. milage gains. Hydrogen only thins down the oxygen, making the oxygen/gasoline mixture less efficient.
The only real time devices that I know of are very expensive. Google Alicat mass flow meters. Don't trust the flow meters with the little ball that floats, they are not accurate.
Hey Mike, I want to thank you for your videos I have learned a lot from you!!

would a hho cell be easier to install in a older cars than newer cars
Hello sir mike, I am wondering if aluminum plates in hho generator would be alright to be used for my bike.
Thanks a lot
on my experienced, aluminum plates not efficient . Electrolyte (either KOH or NaOH) will eat up... stainless steel #18 or 20 is best for any hho dry cell.
What sort of amount of electrolyte is used up per hour on a constant 1l per minute burn?
It is possible but not reasonable. It requires too much power to make enough HHO to run the engine.
Definately easier in to install vehicles 96 and b 4 ...no commputers or sensors to deal with on most of them : )
So it is not a good idea to produce a lot of Hydrogen unless we modify the car construction?
You're going to want to build the engine for high heat tolerance. Since these systems tend to burn at different temperatures than a regular unleaded or diesel engines, using stainless steal, hardened blocks, forged pistons, etc; will definitely be beneficial.
hey mike,
Is it possible to run the engine on pure HHO gas?...And if Yes then why is it not used commercially??...if i wish to go for commercial is there a scope??
@mrgalleria Not soon enough Bill, thanks!

is there any book to study about HHO Dry cell and its design methodology
I have a question about HHO production that nobody will answer. Does the process of using stainless steel to produce HHO create hexavalent chromium ???????
I don't know where you got that information but I have used NaOH for years now with no issues whatsoever. Sorry, but I disagree.
i want to build a cell with 25 plates at 12V so 6 x 4 cells who much amps do I need
hi,
as far as i know in 6x4 dry cell 18 amp. is efficient...
EEEEEEGH! (buzzer sound) You are incorrect there Mr. Wizard. Baking Soda is NaHCO3 or Sodium Bicarbonate. NaOH is Sodium Hydroxide.
i think he means a tiny tiny tiny dry cell generator overheating and it will produce the amount u want but the generator will break i think thats wat he means
sir, for a motorcycle 250cc what is the required of air flow?
No, at this point HHO is just meant to be a fuel supplement, not a replacement.
please tell me what size between plates
hii
Is the HHO gas mess up the engine?

Mixing hydrogen with gasoline or any other fuel is a waste of time. Hydrogen and gasoline ignite at a different rate. The oxygen aids in the combustion of the gasoline, making the gasoline burn more efficiently, i.e. milage gains. The only real time devices that I know of are very expensive. Google Alicat mass flow meters. Don't trust the flow meters with the little ball that floats, they are not accurate.
And the reason form this is that there is no net gain.

NO, NEVER USE BAKING SODA! Only use KOH or NaOH.
