Hi very helpful video I have a on 3 turbo hyabusa and had some oil coming out of air filter a little bit on back rim 1st time only happened after 1st hard run I could not find the mechanical oil pump like yours on the on3 web sight any help would be greatly appreciated also could you tell me more about the oil restrictor thanks
Sure thing, you need one of the smallest oil restrictor you can find. It will help minimize the oil leak. I still have a tiny bit of oil still leaking but with it being a Chinese turbo that’s just extra lubrication. Make sure you have good seals on the feed and drain. When you buy the kit it gives you the option to buy it. You can call them and ask if they will sell it to you separately. I think part of the problem is oil excavation is not good enough to flow back into the oil pan which causes the leak. My experience with turbo cars I have built, the shortest and most direct oil drain has yielded the best results when it came to leaking turbos.
Good question! No the factory fuel pump is different from 2013 on the fuel pump assembly changed to a pump 2/3 the size of the old style. There is not anything available that I could find to upgrade the oem system. Yea it’s unfortunate cost-wise but it added the benefit of not needing to upgrade later due to upgrades that are coming soon!
.35” only use them if you have oil leakage through the turbo cartridge. Journal bearings don’t necessarily need one especially if you have adequate oil scavenging.
@@a2zcarpetcleaningllcwestpa596 it most likely is working like it should. What is probably happening is the oil from the oil feed? Line is bleeding into the turbo while the bike is off. I’m not saying it’s going to fix it but if you put a check valve in on the oil feed, it may alleviate that issue.
I’m thinking it’s my scavenger pump not sucking I pulled the tube off while it was running oil was draining but my pump was not sucking I called on3 waiting on a response
Thanks for the info brother
Been waiting for this
We all miss you bro
What did you do to end up getting the fairings to work properly?
My busa is over boosting and tuner guy is limiting the bike to 9000rpm with the on3 turbo kit, any advice

But did it actually need the bulkhead? Factory lines with a bigger pump wouldn’t of worked?

I added the Rcc fuel pump with the regulator working great I have the 08 Hayabusa
I actually used the Rcc fuel pump with regulator perfect fit and my gas needle working my only issue is the smoke
On3 turbo kit is a kit not a turbo system.
Hello what size oil restrictor did you use?

Hello again so I put the .35 oil restrictor in but it still smokes not as much. I’m wandering if the mechanical oil drain isn’t working properly?
