To be respected, you must respect yourself first. Have a courage to walk away from people who belittles you.

    1. Share everything that is wrong
    2. Self-Confidence and charisma, have your own life , don’t seek validation, TRUST it’s there
3.When a man feels he has too much or ALL the power in a relationship, they will become negative, difficult and toxic. So know you’re boundaries and don’t give TOO MUCH or he won’t know how to receive.
Even nice guys will take advantage when he picks up on a lack of self confidence

    #3 is sooo true !
Don't give him any power. He will abuse it and mistreat you.
Watch also the way you interact with him. Don't show signs of fear and insecurity. He will use it against you.

How to make him respect you? By Respecting yourself! Knowing your happiness is important.

    Make him respect you:
    1. Say what you want. Especially when he’s doing something wrong. Set boundaries.
    2. Have self-confidence and charisma. Have your own life and don’t seek validation.
    3. When a man has power he’ll be negative & do things wrong. Giving too much leads to problems & lack of respect.
Thank you for your advice and video!

There is a huge impact on the relationship of how good or poorly he was raised as a child, his whole upbringing process+the things that he learnt as an adult determines how he treats you
Alex is right, you have to earn the respect by setting boundaries and not tolerating his nonsense behaviour

before we dive in into commitment, let us first build self confidence. To make us able to do things our own. Confidence is something that most of us are lucking. In building real relationship , confidence is like the heart of it . maybe for the body all might work but without confidence its like diving into the sea without water in it. let's love men but let the balance of power control. I got your point , Alex. the problem of having toxic relationships is by not setting boundaries.

05:35 - this is one of the most important, valuable things you have taught me. It's proven. So... yes... the answer is self-respect, self-love, being empowered and strong, and not needing the man too much. I've done sooo much work in this area, and I will keep going. My ex tested me yesterday, but I responded well I think, and I'm focusing on myself today and he didn't knock me off. He held so much power in the end, and now finally I have taken it back!!! I will never let that happen again, that's a promise to myself.

Nice one Alex! I just shared what I felt and where I felt wronged that as things from past were building up and he said we can never be together and we were never in a relationship. It turned into blame game but am accepting it graciously and I don't regret saying what I did even if it was harsh, he denied everything but its okay. I couldn't have moved forward without it. So I am focusing on my life, watching your video, removing neediness. He said I cannot change but am starting my life with a clean state. :) What he thinks of me is his problem. But I need to take responsibility of my actions and become better version of myself.

Alex, I love your advice. Yes, it does seem crazy, but I am sure it will work. I have many men coming around me, it is amazing. Younger men as well, 2 of them are about 20 years younger, they approached me at different times and I didn't respond, because they are so young, but have nothing to offer me. Amazingly they keep letting me know they are thinking of me. Luckily, there is another younger man, I see great potential in him, yes a good man. This time in my life, it's like: I awoke from wasting my life in a poisonous marriage, only to find a glorious morning to walk into. Thank You for your video. I really needed to hear this, you were on point on everything a woman needs to know about appreciated herself and her worth. I always been the type of woman to give to much in the relationship, always let things go.. didn't speak up when something bothered me and the outcome is always a man either disrespecting me or trying to control me because your right, I was always trying to get their validation and all it led up to was letting them control our whole relationship because I was to nice and all they did was take advantage of me. Your video just helped me realize how important I am and your right, I don't need no one's validation to accept me, I have the confidence inside myself to know how much of a good women I am to let any man make me think any less than what I deserve. I really like your video and your accent is really sexy just saying lol. 05:56 - and all my life, I thought if I give, give, give, some sweet, kind soul would see that and give, give, give in return. IT DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY! I met a sweet guy, and he's become TOXIC and taken me for granted, because I did SO much for him! What a stupid mistake. It's time I start taking and being a bit more selfish, lol. Now that he's gone, finally all my money and energy is going on ME! I truly realise now, that a man can NEVER taken the #1 place in my life. For me #1 is my Higher Power/God, 2 is me, 3 is my goals/passions/hobbies/dreams....then the man! and maybe after my friends! ha! :)
