hello mark can you post a video showing how to setup axis rapid override please.
when you put in a program that has a RPM higher than machine max - can you get it an alarm that notifies you of that? happens when we move a program from a 10k machine to a 6k - It will not get to 10k but feed rate is still the same - too much chip load
What will happen to the finish, if we turn up feed rate override?

This seems great until you have to increase the RPM to save a drill but can't. I'd much rather just hit both buttons at once...
Agreed I strongly prefer them to be completely separate. We have another machine that automatically changes the feed when you override the spindle speed, but not the other way around

Why would you want to? If you lower the feed at the same time the chatter wont go away..

Anything is possible. Normally option mean $$$ I think it's nice that you can change a parameter and choose to do it this way. An good place to use this feature this way would be in a situation where you are chamfering with a tool in a small hole and you keep having vibration. The tool may spend 0 .3 second in machining time but let say you would have to do 20 chamfer. having the option to lower or increase in the same time will help.
