Personally, I think it's the fact that Aqua almost always looks a little gloomy, with gloomy-looking eyes, whilst Hikaru looks confident and the type to kill someone.
This chapter has spawned a new theory for me; based on Ruby's question on whether or not to forgive, is that potential foreshadowing that after eventually understanding her father, will she want to try and save him instead of killing him? I mean, it would be a great conflict to Aqua's plan to kill him and it would be an interesting way to introduce conflict between Aqua and Ruby. Plus, it could represent two different sides of the fandom, where half of us want Hikaru dead (Aqua) and the other half of us want Hikaru to potentially be redeemed (Ruby). Maybe with Ruby's want to potentially save her father, we can also get other characters' perspectives on Hikaru, (Kana, Akane, Mem-Cho, Taiki, etc.) and how they feel about him. We can even get more of Hikaru's perspective and if he even wants to be saved or not. Maybe when Ruby does try to save him, he'll reject her and either turn himself in or (in my opinion) off himself. I HEAVILY doubt this will happen, but if it does, it'll be interesting to see how it is handled, especially with the final arc (maybe) upon us!

I'm happy we got an interaction between Ruby and Hikaru and got a glimpse of what's going through Hikaru's mind, especially the white staringon in his eye. Also, I don't think Hikaru going to push Ruby down the stairs to kill her. She's still playing the role as Ai and Hikaru is sponsoring the film. I'm pretty sure he is planning to get rid of her once she's done filming. Either way, I'm happy Akane intervened to save Ruby from him. But now, she has red flags on her, as well. As for Hikaru, it's interesting that he knows it'll be over for him for soon, thus he would make his last stand by adding a target to his last victim.

I'm so glad to finally see Hikaru and Ruby interact. Akane saving Ruby reminds me why I personally think of her as best girl. Plus, I can't imagine the feelings Ruby had when she filmed Ai's death scene.
When Hikaru said he’ll go down with all the lives he’s taken and considering how he just tried to kill Ruby means that he won’t stop killing until he was taken down. Ai probably figured this out about Hikaru but it was too late for her to stop him so she left Aqua with a message explaining how he could stop Hikaru because Hikaru won’t stop himself from killing others, even after Ai is already gone.
IDK abour Hikaru trying to kill Ruby.I dont think ot was like Yura because wven when killing her he had black stars not white.It seems that he just kinda wanted to talk to his daughter. Tbh I was kinda expecting the stair pushing is going to unfold 😅😅. But I'm forgetting that Ruby is one of the MCs and she can't be killed, unlike someone with the door. And I'm surprise that Akane didn't hesitate to speak because Ruby is like at the exact same position where she gets pushed from a hooded figure, but Aqua catches her on time.

Akane the goat, she was mean-mugging the devil himself. Wouldn't be too worried about her, she's got the smarts and probably has a lot up her sleeve, really missed her presence in this arc overall. I do think Ruby did have an idea that she was talking with Hikaru. She looked very uneasy at times and in one of the panels you can see a *gasp* when she was explaining her dilemma on asking "God = Kami" what to do. Then stating to Hikari's face she's gonna strive to surpass her mom felt like a serious declaration of intent that felt like a challenge to see what would this guy do? Great cliffhanger and can't wait to see the cast's perspective on what just happened, ty for the video!

I honestly continue to get hyped up with these chapters. The fact that Ruby decided to trust Hikaru that quickly... She needs to be more careful! Akane comes and saves Ruby from what could've been one of the most life-changing plot twists in the story, and I'm all for it. She really is amazing. The thing that I'm looking forward to the most, though, is definitely the confrontation between Aqua and Hikaru. I'm so hyped up for when they'll finally meet! As always, I love listening to these videos, it's always nice to listen to new Oshi no Ko chapters.
Ruby is very quick to trust but hopefully Akane tells Ruby who Hikaru is. It’s cool too that we got confirmation Akane has been tailing Hikaru. She’s really been putting in work! Why are Akane's death flags coming back 💀 🚩. (I'm glad she came at the right time) His stars turns white when he was about to push her and everyone interpretted that he was not gonna kill her and white eyes represent something pure. But I think, It maybe is because he was delighted (?). We never saw his eyes when he was ABOUT to push Yura, and we saw it after he done his speech. Here are my thoughts. Obviously Ruby is unaware the man she walked and talked with is actually her father. Which is surprising she never seems to question him about it. We found out how Hikaru decided to kill Ai. How Ruby talked with him is probably what Ai did to him. He saw Ai as someone very bright, beautiful, and inspiring….. So he decided to kill her. He realized Ruby is even more brighter than her. So bright, his stars start to glow white. Because of this feeling, he wanted to kill her. Thats his motivation, to kill someone that truly gives him bright hope so he can have reasons to kill them off, specifically idols. Akane knew his whereabouts and stopped him from killing Ruby. Hikaru also knew Akane was stalking him. So he’s probably going to consider killing her first because she’s going to get in his way. Meanwhile, Hikaru seems to be aware of Aqua’s plan and he’s fine with him killing Hikaru this way. All he cared is to make the best out of it. Its scary how much he knows and how aware he is.
Am I the only one who thinks Hikaru wasn't going to hurt Ruby the white eyes mostly represent positive emotions. And this is a personal opinion, but I feel the stars represent white lies where a person lies for a positive reason and doesn't mean harm and black lies were a person lies for negative reasons and causes harm really fits with the theme of lying and also how the eyes change based on changes in motivation and emotions. So to me Hikaru's eyes turning white might mean he doesn't actually intend to harm Ruby especially when it is revealed that Nino was there, add that he knew Akane was following him maybe he was pretending that he was going to push her to make Akane show herself before Nino did somthing to Ruby.

With every new chapter I start to think more and more that Hikaru didn't kill Ai and is killing because he doesn't want anyone to surpass Ai. I believe that Yura Katayose's death was used to show us couple of things: Yura had white star🌟 and at the time I thought that Hikaru killed Ai who had too white stars 🌟 so we all made a connection that Hikaru is a serial killer who liked killing actresses with stars🌟( this chapter showed us that too ) It would be a good twist to find out that somebody who we thought killed Ai did killed somebody BUT NOT HER. P.S I'm so glad that Akane has come to the rescue ✨ but I'm concerned about death flags because a lot of people are talking about them. The conversation between Ruby and her father Hikaru was insane you know he had that killing intent in his eyes as soon as he heard what her dream was and I was like oh no! 😰 and then we had Akane come to the rescue to save her but now the both of them are on his radar and now I'm worried for the both of them but like you said that this might be a part of Aqua's plan to lure him out and I hope he's able to protect the both of them too?😢

I do think Ruby did have an idea that she was talking with Hikaru. She looked very uneasy at times and in one of the panels you can see a *gasp* when she was explaining her dilemma on asking "God = Kami" what to do. Then stating to Hikari's face she's gonna strive to surpass her mom felt like a serious declaration of intent that felt like a challenge to see what would this guy do? Great cliffhanger and can't wait to see the cast's perspective on what just happened, ty for the video!

I honestly continue to get hyped up with these chapters. The fact that Ruby decided to trust Hikaru that quickly... She needs to be more careful! Akane comes and saves Ruby from what could've been one of the most life-changing plot twists in the story, and I'm all for it. She really is amazing.

Here are my thoughts.
Obviously Ruby is unaware the man she walked and talked with is actually her father. Which is surprising she never seems to question him about it.
We found out how Hikaru decided to kill Ai. How Ruby talked with him is probably what Ai did to him. He saw Ai as someone very bright, beautiful, and inspiring….. So he decided to kill her.
He realized Ruby is even more brighter than her. So bright, his stars start to glow white. Because of this feeling, he wanted to kill her. Thats his motivation, to kill someone that truly gives him bright hope so he can have reasons to kill them off, specifically idols.
Akane knew his whereabouts and stopped him from killing Ruby.
Hikaru also knew Akane was stalking him. So he’s probably going to consider killing her first because she’s going to get in his way.
Meanwhile, Hikaru seems to be aware of Aqua’s plan and he’s fine with him killing Hikaru this way. All he cared is to make the best out of it.
Its scary how much he knows and how aware he is.
Aqua will kill him if he finds out that he tried to push ruby from upstairs. He will kill him anyway

Am I the only one who thinks Hikaru wasn't going to hurt Ruby the white eyes mostly represent positive emotions. And this is a personal opinion, but I feel the stars represent white lies where a person lies for a positive reason and doesn't mean harm and black lies were a person lies for negative reasons and causes harm really fits with the theme of lying and also how the eyes change based on changes in motivation and emotions.
So to me Hikaru's eyes turning white might mean he doesn't actually intend to harm Ruby especially when it is revealed that Nino was there, add that he knew Akane was following him maybe he was pretending that he was going to push her to make Akane show herself before Nino did somthing to Ruby.

I think the manga will end at the moment when the father tells his son the truth. Both are sitting at the table After the truth is revealed, Hikaru will kill himself in front of Aqua. His last words will be: “my time has come to an end... this pain must end. We'll be together again... there. Take care of your sister" As for Hikaru He's addicted to Ai when he said “Perhaps even more than your mother” he has white stars, it turns out it’s a lie. With every new chapter I start to think more and more that Hikaru didn't kill Ai and is killing because he doesn't want anyone to surpass Ai. I believe that Yura Katayose's death was used to show us couple of things:
Yura had white star🌟 and at the time I thought that Hikaru killed Ai who had too white stars 🌟 so we all made a connection that Hikaru is a serial killer who liked killing actresses with stars🌟( this chapter showed us that too )
It would be a good twist to find out that somebody who we thought killed Ai did killed somebody BUT NOT HER.
P.S I'm so glad that Akane has come to the rescue ✨ but I'm concerned about death flags because a lot of people are talking about them. Not only that but there is a fact that she wasn't in the interviews in first 9 chapters because there were I think 2 characters that weren't really important.
