At MY bridal shower, my mother-in-law said, “Well she isn’t the one I had picked for my son, but if he loves her I will too.”😮 THE SHADE!!! My aunt had to hold my momma back from “popping the trunk” on her😂😂😂! May they both rest in peace 🙏🏼❤️
My first mother-in-law called me by a whole WRONG name for yearssss.. until I had my daughter and she miraculously started calling me by name (we were bonded together like it or not, heffa) 🤷♀️ May she rest in peace...😁
I was confused with the story of Greg’s mom until you said she was Jamaican THEN it made complete sense. As a black person with Carribean blood running all throughout my veins, this is typical non shocking behavior 🤷♀
Amanda seales or Angela rye should be mediator or both..Amanda might need any to calm her at times when the dumb questions arise 😂 They’d balance eachother out well
Yea, how they treated the Black women was sooo disgusting and hurtful!! Black women don't need ONE more scenario to feel isolated and made to feel ugly because of the "white-only" standard of beauty that's perpetuated throughout the show.
Someone pointed out that blk ppl married to someone white are the most pro black ppl. I feel they believe that they need to prove their love for their ppl bcus they've married outside of their ethnicity.
YES to ALL the perfect match thoughts! Don’t cast Bartiste and Shane in nothing else! And don’t cast these successful black women to be played in their and our face. Lastly, determining how churchy someone is by how they say “God is Good” is hilarious yet accurate. I love us for real.
Chris was also drunk and venting about his wife. And the door was not open initially. Those are important FACTS that people who are biased against Gizelle love to leave out. Chris was wrong.
Regarding the RHOP, it’s hard to find substance where it was not intended to be. The show (and reality TV in general) was designed to be cheap entertainment for networks to produce and a bag grab for personalities, so I wouldn’t expect anyone involved to have an in-depth constructive conversation.
Liss, your airplane story reminds me of mine when security totally lost one of my shoes when I was going to Dubai. I was the last person on the plane and had to walk around two international airports with one shoe on!!!😂😂
I have had a you must be such & such because I arrived last on the plane. It’s always such a funny & awkward moment. Funny funny story. Love the podcast & you both ❤.
You tow are hilarious! Melissa’s TSA story is for the history books😂 Mel talking about how older women have no filter took me out😭 The Perfect Match ad me heated. Francesca is a try villain because she’s a narcissist. She wanted all the attention from everyone even if she didn’t like them. Bartist is an a whole entire azz, he thinks he’s cuter than he actually is. I didn’t understand why they had all of the black women come on the show if they weren’t gonna match with anyone 😡
😂😂😂I also am excited to be that age where I can say whatever. My Black American Southern Aunties are my life goal🤣🤣🤣 Actual quote to a family member: “You awful excited about that second hand husband you got.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣 🤦🏾♀️
I love this podcast and y’all but can we get through each segment and not rush even if it take more than an hour. sometimes it feel like y’all are Stewart watching the clock instead of being in the moment but besides that I ooveeeeeee yalllll and this podcast
They HATE black women on The Perfect Match. All them black men played them beautiful black women. Especially Dom. So I don't feel bad for him at all. They played in every single black woman face of that show. Dom weaponized TF out of ole girl from Selling Tampa. It was sad smh.
I wish they would’ve match calvin with diamond, I think they would’ve worked as a couple and i think he was the only one other than zay who liked black women
I was sicknof waiting for the show so watch on Patreon ❤️ but then got to the perfect match and had to run out of here. So now I'm back and so entertained
It was interesting to me because Candiace originally explained that lighter complexions enjoy a level of privilege. But she seems like she is ignoring the privilege she has from her self-proclaimed generational wealth and white husband.
Bartise pissed me the F off. Inez was so genuine, I wish she hooked up with Dom. Francesca was like that on her short cameo on love is blind too so I think that's just who she is and I don't like it.
I think Damian was just brought on by Francesa because he brought Francesa on Love is Blind. I knew this show was just for exposure for them because there was no real prize, a trip anywhere in the world is dumb 🥴
Re: RHOP - It's completely valid for an individual to feel uncomfortable in a situation/about the optics of a scenario. The problem was that Gizelle insisted - for months, to multiple people, on a national platform - that Chris DID something to her; went around collecting other "suspicious" stories - each of which have been disproven or put in context (e.g., Sesame Street, replying to Ashley's story v sending a DM, Mia's perpetual lying); and rebuffed attempts to clarify b/c "the semantics" didn't matter until many rounds of direct probing and Andy Cohen pointing out that yes, it's semantics because words mean things (s/o to Crissle West's favorite phrase). As Dr. Wendy explained in a previous episode, perhaps we could give Gizz the benefit of the doubt if not the continuous pattern she's demonstrated season after season of floating stories that attack the character of her castmates and their spouses, specifically those that she doesn't accept or don't play by her rules. Sorry not sorry for the paragraph, but if we're going to talk about it, let's mention it all.
…. And maybe throw Justin from e or funky dineva there to have a range of the browns .both smart n funny add male perspective I love al too but seems like we’ve already got the caramel covered for this one 😂❤
She never called Gizelle a white woman. She highlighted that Gizelle's eurocentric features make her appear "white-looking" at a quick glance, and her proximity to whiteness has allowed her the privilege of moving in certain spaces with more entitlement, and more recklessness.
They're not on HTT so why can't they? It's a completely different podcast with 2 different host. Pop culture podcasts are going to talk about the same things.
Which topics? I watch both and didn't notice this but also wouldn't care if they did since Kev and Angel often feel differently about things than Melissa.

Oh my. I hope your relationship with your mother in law improved.
😳😳 My mother in law would have said the same if she wasn't so worried about her image 😅
My first mother-in-law called me by a whole WRONG name for yearssss.. until I had my daughter and she miraculously started calling me by name (we were bonded together like it or not, heffa) 🤷♀️

At the bridal shower??? Sheesh! Glad you can now live in peace! 😆
Oh my goodness

Yesssss!! I was shocked but I have learned being from a Jamaican family that some people mouth just loose lolol

Liss is funny. Not a fake interior designer. 😆🤣 Lisa does her thing with fashion & interior design.

Not all of us.
Women for sure but not sure about black men married to white people 🤔
Ashley Miller or 4itsrox just said this same thing I can't remember which one
You can't be pro black married to someone that isn't black.
Lol at Melissa imitating Shane 😂😂😂 that had me weak
"Hope you learned something, probably didn't" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Liss is tooooo funny!

I ee TSA Shenanigans and i'm wondering what happened to Goose this time
Congrats, 10 years house anniversary! House tour?! I'll even take a UA-cam short. 😂The TSA and mother-in-law story had me rolling! 😅 Tfs
The casting team as the villain 😂😂 Big FACTS!
I'm late but always make time for my Gin and Juice pull up Divas, Liss and Mel❣️❣️👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🎉🎉🎉🎉🔥🔥🔥🔥 Y'all make my week!!! 💜💜
After Liss had me listen to “Dying for Sex” I vowed to never do what she say again. I was WRECKED by that lady’s death!
Yesssss!! Omg the last few episodes hurt my heart so much.
Join the Patreon ppl! This is so good I watch the live and then come watch the edited version! Love this podcast!!!
Chris was also drunk and venting about his wife. And the door was not open initially. Those are important FACTS that people who are biased against Gizelle love to leave out. Chris was wrong.
When Liss said “go get on a train” I freaking lost it!!! 😂😂😂😂
My family's definition of a housewarming is a party/barbecue/fish fry with family and friends. So Mel's story sounds about right.

I love the fact that Mel and Greg have the same flight energy. Don't try them.
Liss, your airplane story reminds me of mine when security totally lost one of my shoes when I was going to Dubai. I was the last person on the plane and had to walk around two international airports with one shoe on!!!😂😂
I love y’all, and would encourage you to really watch Potomac if you’re going to review. Lots of misinformation today.
I have had a you must be such & such because I arrived last on the plane. It’s always such a funny & awkward moment. Funny funny story. Love the podcast & you both ❤.
Come on with the pro transition to the ad Mel!
Greg's mom is wild 🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ah, she's Jamaican. Got it. ✅️✅️
@@francinedunbar3797 Right! 😆
I would love to have a sugar daddy until it’s time to give him some sugar 🥴

This is becoming my new favorite podcast!
House warming parties be 🔥 frfr
Mel’s flight I just cannot 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Greg's momma is my momma, and every auntie in the hood. Tears!!!
I just wanna say this is a better recap of the Perfect Match than the ACTUAL SHOW LOL. 🎬
I wish they would’ve match calvin with diamond, I think they would’ve worked as a couple and i think he was the only one other than zay who liked black women
The perfect match actually made me like Shayne.. why yall being mean to him 😂 he looks so normal and handsome with his mouth closed 🙊
I was sicknof waiting for the show so watch on Patreon ❤️ but then got to the perfect match and had to run out of here. So now I'm back and so entertained
All of These shows are cast for aesthetics only plus D grade actors
So happy for your move, Melissa!!! So excited for you all.
@28:33 Using somebody's love handle as a arm rest is gold, Lol
Ashley husbands is suing Candice and Candice husband is suing gizzard
Liss I need to
Here about Jo’s GF and who said the N word?
Chris, Candace's husband is from the DMV. So he grew up to Va schools around mostly black folks. Our white people in the Urban DMV area are different.
You FRUCK IT 😂😂😂😂

Francesca was a holy ghost mess. She being on Perfect Match was for all the drama and game play
No, Robyn is black. Her father was part of the civil rights
Harlem!!
Oh yes, i certainly did learn a whole lot this podcast. I just wanna thank you 2 good sisters for putting in the work to bring us the things! 🤣
This airplane TSA story 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Candice is ok - she is not like Monique, Kenya, Nene or Claudia Jordan
LOVED THIS!
I started following the designer based on your post 😊
That give me something to appreciate took me out that was hilarious 😂
Great episode. 💕Mel reminds me of Sara Jakes.
Wow. I been watching yall 10 yrs
I think Damian was just brought on by Francesa because he brought Francesa on Love is Blind. I knew this show was just for exposure for them because there was no real prize, a trip anywhere in the world is dumb 🥴
I didn't even know there was a prize until the last episode. They left it so ambiguous.
@@Charisma598 Yes it felt like an afterthought lol.
Is Greg’s dad Jamaican?
Don’t forget MsRoss

Candiace ruined her colorism point on her delivery. She didn't need to dig at Giselle essentially calling her a white woman. That was wrong.
She never called Gizelle a white woman. She highlighted that Gizelle's eurocentric features make her appear "white-looking" at a quick glance, and her proximity to whiteness has allowed her the privilege of moving in certain spaces with more entitlement, and more recklessness.
@@Charisma598 her delivery was out of pocket. Candiace can play the colorism card but the truth is she is MEAN spirited and nasty. Period.
