Got the ABL-100 today! Something you missed is the Time & Place recording feature. Simply press the bottom right button and the watch will sync automatically with your phone, giving you a map dropped pin and time-stamp in the Casio App (under My Page tab) that you can view/edit later on your phone. Another feature worth noting is that you can link the Casio App with another app (eg: Apple Heath) to get your steps recorded in another program. Also a couple of features of the stopwatch worth noting; before you start the stopwatch, pressing the top left button shows the current time on the top row, so you can start the stopwatch at a specific time. And the mode after the stopwatch is the Recall Mode, listing all your stopwatch records - useful for tracking repetitive activities. Unfortunately, these records don't sync to the app. An improvement to the Timer would be to use the bar graph as an overall time remaining percentage, not a minute countdown. So you could quickly see how much of the timer is left at a glance.
Love this watch. Enjoying the light weight plastic shiny body and super comfortable strap. Plus the display with year, day of the week, day and month number is ideal for me. Combined with the larger size it’s perfect for me. And if I damage it, I’ll just buy another. Well done Casio. 👏👏👏👏
Thanks for the review. I bought one today and am very pleased with it. Although I like the stainless steel strap it is a little narrower than I usually prefer. I have a Vario leather strap for my AE1200 and it fits the ABL-100 perfectly. Changed the look from dressy to smart casual.
A few weeks ago I raced 8000 miles to get home before my dad passed, I made it with only a few hours to spare. I could have decided not to move to a different continent 30 years ago, and to stay close to my family and friends, but I would have missed so much. @@bigteno4597 It is a nice watch, it wears well, I like that it‘s a bit larger than the A158 and that it has a perfectly usable backlight.
