You’re not easily pleased so this is high praise. Would love too see you go old school Demon Hunter with “Infected” “Ribcage” or (for drum lovers) “The Gauntlet”. Cheers
YES YES YES !!!! FINALLY !!! MORE DEMON HUNTER P L E A S E????????? Song to hear 1. Follow The Wolves 2. Blood In The Tears 3. Cold Blood 4. Dead Flowers 5. Ash
I'd be happy to add any of these to the que....just pick one...gotta keep it fair for everyone else. whichever one you pick, please include a link so I watch the correct video.
This is my first time hearing Demon Hunter, too, although I’ve heard of them. I like this, so I’m definitely going to check out more of them. Major Panhead here, so no band will ever be better than Skillet to me, but I think I like DH. David, Red is an incredible band, too, and I’d love to hear you react to them. Red’s “Feed the Machine” is an incredible banger of a song. It’s fantastic!
My boys loved Demon Hunter, my oldest started playing guitar and my second started to play bass because of them:) The lead vocalist is soooo good! Love me some Demon Hunter!!
I've been listening to Demon Hunter for 10 years and they just keep getting better and better! Love them! For an calmer song, and my favorite is Tide Began to Rise. Screaming, Fire to My Soul..... they have many great songs!
Going through the back catalogue of this channel. I think this is the first Demon Hunter song I've heard that I've liked. I might have to re-think my affinities. Thanks @David Heretic for covering this.
I agree on the song being too short and in fact I would've preferred they repeated the chorus one more time at the end to make it better, at least in my opinion. By the way for those wondering the lead singer's name is Ryan Clark, and he founded the band with his brother Don who later left the band to pursue a career in graphic design and to be with his family.
7:00 Now imagine the earthquake after Jesus' crucifixion and the temple of the pharisees being torn in two and Jesus consuming victory over Hades and the the grave.
Demon Hunter is one of my top 10 Metal bands just like Skillet. But please do a reaction vid on Fit For a King: When everything means nothing or Foundation from For Today.
the Clark family have touched almost every song in alt-Christian music, so the composure and style is a thing that comes to Ryan (the lead singer) like breathing.
LOOK HERE!!!! Demon Hunter released a new Single ' Freedom Is Dead ' you are going to really like this new song. It's heavy, its extreme , its fast!!! React to the official music video.
If you didn't know Demon Hunter is a Christian band, and this song is my favorite from them. It helps that it's theologically sound, the lyrics are clearly based off of 1st Corinthians 15. Specifically "oh death where is your sting? Oh death where is your victory"
Just so you know the inspiration for the lyrics is from 1 Corinthians 15:55-57(NIV) “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
🤣It's so obvious where your heart is at. God bless you. They are not bad at all but not going to make my ranks just yet. To me, being a straight up "metal" band puts limits. As categorizing any Genre will do. Point intented. 🤔😁
Sorry, I had never heard of them before. One of the beautiful things about doing these reactions...I'm getting exposed to a lot of bands I've never heard of, and being forced to give bands a chance that I swore I'd never listen to...and now I'm kinda liking them.
I totally agree with your review. I feel like the drums are kind of the weak point. I feel as if the tempo is the same in every song. I could use a little more jazz influence. Surprise me! But the bass def is barely heard. I think you forgot to go over the lyrics tho! lol Whats so cool about the song is that when you find your purpose in God and believe in heaven there is no enemy not even death that can harm us! Death just brings us to our final resting place in eternity with God, our friends and family.
Lol Ledger Ledger LEDGER!!!!!!!! This is a non sister vote it’s a 9.2 from me Yeps Demon Hunters forever!!!!! on the singing Skillet is better cos they have Jen an also Skillet is from where I live
54 When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” 55 “O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. That's the song. Right there.
Lead singer to lead singer, Demon Hunter has better range and capability than Skillet. Skillet is good, but John has a gravely tone all of the time which limits what can do. Unfortunately, Demon Hunter limits what the do by genre which is why I like Skillet as a whole more than Demon Hunter.
And this is where I have always broken away from your taste in music. This type of metal has never been my thing. The hardest music I enjoy, and own, is probably Metallica, Korn, Andrew WK, Disturbed, System of a Down, etc. I don’t know the technical terms for different types of metal, but I lump this song into the noise category lol. Sorry bro, but as you say not my cup of tea. I think a lot has to do with this kind to transition to a live stage. I watched 3 different performances of this song about halfway thru, and none sounded good to me. Anyway I know you love this type of music, nice review, and I do enjoy seeing you get animated.
Don't get me wrong, this song is amazing, but you really need to hear what these guys are truly capable of. They get a lot heavier than this. React to these songs. Trust me. 1. Infected 2. Crucifix 3. The World Is a Thorn 4. The Negative 5. Through the Black
@@THEDavidHeretic First choice would definitely have to be my favorite song of theirs. Watch "Demon Hunter - "Infected"" on UA-cam ua-cam.com/video/6zFC6tv667c/v-deo.html Sadly, the video was only uploaded in 240p.
Eh. Hard for me to put into words what I don’t like about this. I DO like the drum and guitar beat but the tone of the lyrics were too pretty and polished. They just don’t match up. Just my two cents.

I love your little audio clips. I'm really glad you liked it!
FYI: Demon Hunter just crossed, their 20 Year Anniversary mark, in late July, 2022 🇺🇲🤘🤠🤘🇨🇦
It's hard to resist the charm of this song. Demon Hunter is a very good band!
I completely understand the stopping . That song that gets to me every time I hear it . So emotional! Great review.

One of the best messages. If you don't fear death and that is what you believe is your true home, what can anyone do to you, you have nothing to fear.
Dude, massive DH fan. They have lots of range.
You might rock the band, Red: Breathe into Me.
