In 2016 I got kicked out of Navy boot camp for popping hot on the UA, I was on Week 1 day 3. They told me to report to command and that I was moving to SEPs. A month later, I got out with a general discharge. I try joining different branches like Marines, but not all the chain of command accepted me. Tried Army, and just got notified they won't be accepting me at this time. It's hard for someone like me to get back in the military. I may have to go back to the Navy, but I don't want to be on a ship right now. So, I'm just trying other branches out and see what they say. Don't do drugs, because 42 nanograms of THC is what got me kicked out. Being 21 days clean was not enough for me.
Also why wasnt 21 days enough? I took a UA after 7 days from smoking but i was clean 2 months before so i dont think the thc built up too much do you think i failed?

An article 15 is nonjudicial punishment. It is administered by hour commanding officer. You give him your side and usually your First Sgt gives the government's side. The punishment is limited by your rank and the commanders rank. If they really want to burn you they have your 2nd or higher level give the article 15. If you decline a article 15 they will convene a summary courts martial which is a officer listening to the two sides. The punishment is about the same, but it's a felony conviction.
@@stevenhierro4729 oh yes. Everyone that fails a pee test claims they didn't know how it happened. It never gets them off! You can also go to jail for being late to work.
@@stevenhierro4729 there is a wide range of punishments available. From a verbal reprimand to serious jail time. In my 25 years I saw the whole range. A person might be offered an article 15 and refuses, then a summary courts, you can refuse that too, then they will go to special court martial. Their not dropping the matter. The punishment then is serious and there is a 95% conviction rate at court martial. Young soldiers/ airmen just don't think they will take it that far. I have seen a court martial for not wearing a hat, not getting a haircut, being late, over sleeping, sleeping at work, etc.
Hey, you made a dumb decision. You're human, we all make mistakes. I've done shit I'm not proud of too. You can dwell on it or you can learn from it. Not much else to it. All there is to it.
It really depends on your unit and battalion commander cause soldiers in my unit been popping hot hella and they retain them. A close friend of mine popped hot and he went from E4 to E3 and is in process to get a article 15. But looking like they gonna retain him. Update: they did not retain him
@@Punisher1830 it depends on the brigade commander. It’s essentially their choice. I know a guy who popped hot for cocaine and he was retained and another guy popped hot for weed and he got let go. Just depends.

Mine was a sharp incident my platoon in basic training tried to lie and get me kicked out I had to beg to stay in and thankfully my drill seargents and a letter I wrote to company commander vouched for me so I got to stay in.
Man I got caught with roaches in my car from a year ago a couple months ago . Got arrested and they charged me with felony drug possession . Recently I popped positive on a drug test . Now they bouta kick me out.
I would have smoked a lot sooner if I knew how small of a penalty it was. Make more money working a no skill factory job with 10-15 less hours of work per week than if you were an E-3. Just no free college, it's a fair trade off.
It's stupid to kick someone out for smoking marijuana but it's also shows poor discipline when you cant follow a simple rule. Best of luck to you though. Thats not a good discharge to have and you wasted your time in the Army cause now you have no benefits and nothing to show for your service.
I had a trouble when I was in service, my punishment was as; report to orderly room hourly until 11:PM and by the time I go to the bed I had to change my tig uniform to class A uniform n had to be inspected by Battalion staff duty officer, duration of that punishment was 3 months, weekend was same shit as normal as regular duty day as well. Golden Girl no different? So me getting drunk and smoking once is the same as him on leave blowing down? Nah definitely not. When I retested I was clean. I didn’t get kicked out
I mean, there’s worse that could have happened to this guy. I have been in the Air Force for 9 years and have seen (depending on military judge) people get a slap on the wrist and reduced in rank *but not kicked out* and on the flip end I have seen people get reduced all the way down to E1 - confined in a military brig for 10 months and THEN once you’re out of jail you get kicked out 😂 the military isn’t fair. It was never meant to be
@Never lose sleep over the small stuff Im assuming navy then? You guys operate a bit differently than the Air Force.. At least from what I can tell with my experience in the AF. I agree with you on what you have said though, its all subject to who your case gets seen by.. If youre lucky to only get non-judicial punishment from your direct command thats much better than a court martial is but sometimes Non-judicial punishment is just a slower end to your career if you are reduced in rank.. I saw one guy that had 17 years in as an E-6 and he got in trouble for inappropriate relations with a subordinate (E-3 chick) and command got word of it - they did a full on investigation and afterwards the commander decided to just give him an Article 15, reduce him in rank from E6 down to E-5 and that was the kiss of death for this guy. He immediately High year tenured at that rank was no longer eligible for re-enlistment or even allowed to join the reserves with a bad record. lol. That commander was smart.. he knew what he could do to solve a problem, much faster than a Court martial would have been as well. RIP that guys retirement lol
@sts what is the process? Tested positives of weed, took a seminar for people who’s under investigation and who’s getting kicked out, and rank down from e-3 to e-2. We haven’t heard from anyone yet. And , was refused an appeal
You got to be careful who you pick friends to be with. We had a four day weekend one time and we headed to Texas from Ft. Riley, Ks. and we had gone to a party. We had not submitted leave or requested to go past the mileage distance allowed. One of my friends who was a communications specialist, ended up doing cocaine which at the time I didn’t know he had done. Come Tuesday we had a UA to do and he tried everything to clean his system. At the end he got booted because he carried at security clearance. He lost everything like your friend their. But I was interrogated about his use and if I used drugs.

I smoked and I’m still in the Marines(never got caught) 7 other people i used to smoke with got caught and kicked out.. I got 4 months left I can wait now 😂
I did my 8 years and smoked every single month. I got away with it because iam a skinny dude and I would only smoke 2 weeks out of the month and then the other two weeks I would only drink water and work out rigorously, so it got out of my system by the time we did a urinalysis

Omg please respond i thought the cutoff for thc was 50 ng/ml? Im in the guard but why did u get kicked for 42 ng/mgl?
Also why wasnt 21 days enough? I took a UA after 7 days from smoking but i was clean 2 months before so i dont think the thc built up too much do you think i failed?
@@Chrryontop3 At the time going through the Navy, the cutoff was 15 ng/ml. Now I remember vaguely that someone else was also getting kicked out with just 16 nanograms. 16! Heres the thing, you were clean for 2 months. How much did you smoke? Because a nanogram is a billionth of a gram. Look up on google nanograms to grams. Now how much do you think you smoked? 7 days later, I would be really surprised you pass. Also, the nanograms decreases much slower over time.
@@wyatttilley7849 the cutoff for the army guard is 50 ng/ml and i been doing the dilution method but i smoked a little the week before and uk thc is fat soluble so it releases at a steady rate thru pee and i went off that. The at home tests i had were clear even in the morning when it is most concentrated so thats why i asked do you think i will pass because the lines were even more clear when i drank a whole bunch of water
My two buddies got kicked out in 1991. I've kept in touch with them . They still have general discharge and regret what happened in 2019
new subscriber just found your channel watched a few videos.. you’re going to look back on these one day and remember it as the golden years.. you’re so down to earth !! All love keep them coming ❤️!!
loopy thank you❤️
If my man got kicked out for that I wouldn’t know what to say to him...I would still love him yes but I’ve been with him the entire way. I’m talking going to his UTAs (every single one of them). Seeing him graduate while going months without him that would be heart breaking for me. It’s a privilege honestly. I feel bad for him but like cmon now do better but you’re not a failure.
Chill you acting like you the one that went through bootcamp 😂
An article 15 is nonjudicial punishment. It is administered by hour commanding officer. You give him your side and usually your First Sgt gives the government's side. The punishment is limited by your rank and the commanders rank. If they really want to burn you they have your 2nd or higher level give the article 15. If you decline a article 15 they will convene a summary courts martial which is a officer listening to the two sides. The punishment is about the same, but it's a felony conviction.
So can you go to jail for popin hot if you ate and “edible” without knowing ?
@@stevenhierro4729 oh yes. Everyone that fails a pee test claims they didn't know how it happened. It never gets them off! You can also go to jail for being late to work.
@@terrydouglas5008 that’s crazy, jail it’s not 100% thou is just a possibility? Most likely they’ll be adm sep out ?
@@stevenhierro4729 there is a wide range of punishments available. From a verbal reprimand to serious jail time. In my 25 years I saw the whole range. A person might be offered an article 15 and refuses, then a summary courts, you can refuse that too, then they will go to special court martial. Their not dropping the matter. The punishment then is serious and there is a 95% conviction rate at court martial. Young soldiers/ airmen just don't think they will take it that far. I have seen a court martial for not wearing a hat, not getting a haircut, being late, over sleeping, sleeping at work, etc.
@@terrydouglas5008 sheesh in that case they should just accept article 15

Popped hot after my deployment. Separating my brothers and me was the hardest thing, ever.
Update: they did not retain him
@@hjkl4153 yea pretty much…
Really? I thought they just kick them out right then and there or atleast prevent them from reenlisting.
@@Punisher1830 it depends on the brigade commander. It’s essentially their choice. I know a guy who popped hot for cocaine and he was retained and another guy popped hot for weed and he got let go. Just depends.

I would have smoked a lot sooner if I knew how small of a penalty it was. Make more money working a no skill factory job with 10-15 less hours of work per week than if you were an E-3. Just no free college, it's a fair trade off.
exactly!!!
Did you do it yet
That fact that you can persevere after this is strength. I've had associates that deleted themselves after getting in trouble
God has other plans, praying for you and your future endeavors✨
It's stupid to kick someone out for smoking marijuana but it's also shows poor discipline when you cant follow a simple rule.
Best of luck to you though. Thats not a good discharge to have and you wasted your time in the Army cause now you have no benefits and nothing to show for your service.
It’s hypocritical of the army to say that you can be a functioning alcoholic which there are many in the army but can’t smoke weed.
Now it’s a one of my good ....memories as well now I am 71 years old jackass man

Sophia Sugar same. Pissed hot and got a slap on the wrist. Probably because this guy is a shit bag and probably caused problems his whole career. Fucking pog
Kory Williamson you’re not different if you smoked too!
Golden Girl no different? So me getting drunk and smoking once is the same as him on leave blowing down? Nah definitely not. When I retested I was clean. I didn’t get kicked out
I’m in the infantry unit, and I had a E-6, of 18 yrs, piss hot for coke, meth, and pills. He’s still in. Talk about white privilege, 🤔
Kory Williamson he said he was in the 82nd how is he a pog
And , was refused an appeal
y she hatin on bru he did a good 3 billion intros at the end lmaooo
You got to be careful who you pick friends to be with. We had a four day weekend one time and we headed to Texas from Ft. Riley, Ks. and we had gone to a party. We had not submitted leave or requested to go past the mileage distance allowed. One of my friends who was a communications specialist, ended up doing cocaine which at the time I didn’t know he had done. Come Tuesday we had a UA to do and he tried everything to clean his system. At the end he got booted because he carried at security clearance. He lost everything like your friend their. But I was interrogated about his use and if I used drugs.
The amount of tax money that was invested into this knuckle head - he should be given one more chance for weed use.
i got into trouble for being forced haldol injections in a military mental ward. i didnt know what happened so i denied it. i guess i was hurting myself in there and they injected me and strapped me to the bed. im schizophrenic

That's what I'm wondering
