So relaxed just seeing this little furry friend😉
I put a big handful of raw almonds and shelled walnuts out on a rock most days and my local fox squirrels (usually just 3 of them) eat it or bury it in record time. Love the birdsong in the background!
Awe! So sweet of you to feed them. Thank you for watching 😀
I just discovered that I have a family of young squirrels living in a tree in my backyard and they are adorable! 🥰😍🐿 I came here to learn what to feed them as a treat bc they are already grown enough to take care of themselves. My neighbor has the nut trees and families of squirrels that I've watched for years but bc of my dogs (they are fenced in) the squirrels have learned to stay out of my yard. But apparently this little family of siblings (four of them) didn't care and decided to take up habitat in my tree anyway bc they are having all kinds of fun playing in it! In every arm of the tree there are large holes so they are popping up and out and going back down and disappearing, it's like a live version of the game 'whack a mole' lol. I just love watching them and my cat has a front row seat from his window too! So, this is my first video I've watched and loved ur little guy, so I gave a "Like" and subscribed!
Shoot ‘em
Thank you 🩷
I feed my squirrels apples, whole orange which they like and peanut butter. They also enjoy a strawberry dessert cup. 🐿️
Yummy! Me too, haha 🥰🐿️🐿️🐿️
My squirrels are piggy and territorial. I now feed in two places both up off the ground where they can see what is around. If one gets there first he (she) will dominate and chase the rest off. It works better this way. The birds do clean up! I live in So Cal where it never freezes! 😊
Lol! Yes!! Great idea, thanks 🐿️🐿️🐿️🐿️
What a beautiful squirrel 🐿️ I feed my squirrels sunflower seeds, apples ,bananas, raspberries and blueberries, corn , hazelnut, pecan and peanuts all in shells and not salted btw for all the nuts above I forgot to mention and honey nut Cheerios as a treat every now and then some squirrels prefer different items so I put out a couple of rounds of food in a day I also leave out a small shallow bowl of water for them to drink out of when they get thirsty
Sunflower seeds are bad for squirrels
I put sunflower seed and apple in the winter it gives me something to do and enjoyment to watch them.😊😊
Love that!
The squirrels around my house like apples, strawberries, zucchini and of course almonds, walnuts (in the shell), hazelnuts and roasted in the shell unsalted peanuts. 😊
So adorable. You needs to give him a name.
Yes 🤣🐿🐿🐿
love the backflip!!
I have a squirrel that comes to feed in my garden and I call him Nutkins! The birds carry on feeding and do not mind him one bit. Needless to say the ground is full of his board 😊but I really don't mind as long as he s haopy.
Love squirrels unfortunately, the silly neighbour let's get cat out and Butlins either freezes or makes a mad dash.
Some people are so cruel .
Kind regards from the UK.
PS: So sorry about the typos but in all honesty I blame UTube.
🐿🌺🐿
I LOVE BOTH!!!
Lol I knew he wasn't going to touch them oranges. I put chopped up banana, oranges and grapes for them but they never eat em. They always go for the peanuts & walnuts but now everytime I walk out my back door there's like 5 or 6 of them sitting on my fence waiting to get fed but I live in a urban environment so there's nothing else for them to eat. Now it's like I'm stuck feeding them every damn day!!
ive seen a squirrel have a go at bannana, but only one and the banna was by that time over-ripe -- maybe smells sweet ---- though again no idea how local squirrels learn to like peanuts and walnuts -- not exactly local food on trees for them on uk

They will eat of course corn on the cob...left overs or dry (no salt), cauliflower, and no salt peanuts.
Corn has little to no nutritional value to squirrels or humans.
No peanuts. They are not good for them
@@sparkledonut4860 peanuts in the shells or plain peanuts are, but salted peanuts are not .
They absolutely love walnuts, almonds & shelled peanuts. All natural and unsalted of course.
They can't resist peanuts every squirrel loves them lol
little nutrition in sunflower seeds and peanuts. also, no corn. It like feeding kids candy. Tastes good, little nutrition. Pecans, acorns, hazelnuts, hickory nuts. better for them. I do feed my birds sunflower seeds, and an occasionally few peanuts, are mixed in the the bird food. The squirrels do frequent my feeders, however I do Not fill them but once per week, so the squirrels don't get that much. We do love watching them scampering around.
Thanks for the tips!
I go to the Grocery store salad bar and skip the lettuces , but every else including hard boiled eggs, bacon, ham, all the fruit but....NO PEAS ? They don't like Peas!
3:33 Nervous twitch?
Haha!! Something that is for sure 🐿
Don't feed wild animals!
Shut up
Oh no don't feed squirrels they will ALL die who cares don't feed bears don't feed cougars I think a squirrel is okay it won't see you as food get real
@@cameronhenke593 you feed the squirrels cause the squirrels need it or cause you need it? Is life that lonesome that wild rodents are our psuedo pets?
@@cameronhenke593 and no they won't eat you. But they will get comfortable around people and eventually someone could get hurt. I was attacked by a squirrel. But luckily for my face, I stopped it from climbing up my leg. That's fine though. Maybe you'll have fun with your cute furry friends and someone else's face gets ripped up.
Good advice, do not fall for the "Cute little squirrel" ploy. Everybody knows that all those little bastards want to do is win your trust and then when you least expect it they will RIP YOUR FACE OFF! Iv'e seen it play out a hundred times. You know what else you should look out for...bats, they will fly into your hair and lay eggs! So take my advice, keep your head shaved so the bats can't lay their eggs, and wrap your legs with sheet metal so the squirrels can't get traction to climb up your leg to get to your face. I also like to add an aluminum foil hat just to complete the full blown whack-a-loon ensemble.
Squirrels like hotdogs
