For those watching this before assembly, it helps to remove some all the drawers if you’re doing this without any help. It makes lifting the box into place much easier.
You almost had an epic failure when you were assembling the main tool box to the legs. I would recommend a second person to help lift and get it dropped in if possible. Also, really should use the proper wrenches when tighten the nuts (not recommended to use an adjustable wrench. Use 10mm on wheels and 13mm on upright supports, For the struts use an open end 12mm and a box end 13mm for the nuts. Also, don't use the tool box lid for assembly of the wheels on the base. The possibility in leaving a scratch on the top lid, that you would have to look and live with for as long as you own the box. I'm glad you realized, there are 2 screws in that bag of screws that are a little longer. GOOD JOB! For anyone doing the assembly for the first time, keep an eye out for this. Also there are 4 nuts that are locking nuts (They are for the struts). Don't tighten the nuts on the legs until you got the main box in. This give you a little wiggle room to make it easier to put in position. Be sure to install the handle on the side you have the swivel wheels. You will thank me later. In my opinion, These are great service carts for the price. Happy wrenching!
Great vid. The mistake I made was for some strange reason I tried to put the brackets on the inside of the bottom tray instead of on the outside. Love this toolbox. Fraction of the cost compared to other box stores
Did mine last week, the whole bottom right of the tool box was deformed just enough to throw off the fit of the bottom drawer but I was able to straighten it up with a rubber mallet and a pry bar. Easier than returning it. The handle bolts weren't there. Ok because I need the extra inches the handle takes. But I did get the side table... Totally essential.
I made the same mistake as you did but I had to switch 3 post around. I'm not done yet so at least I learned about the 2 longer bolts for the handle before I got too far along. How do you like it so far?

Actually you should move both the swivel wheels and the handle to the other side. That’s how the bigger US General boxes are oriented when delivered.

Do you know how much vertical space the bottom shelf has? I want to put my small air compressor under there.
