I thought I was the only one who never burned out on marvel. I didn't completely enjoy everything, but I just love the world and characters so much that I was willing to stick with it no matter once. Glad I'm not alone.
I never found Marvel to be perfect so when phase four and five had some duds it didn't affect me. I lived through Thor: The Dark World, I can handle Multiverse of Madness 😭
I’ve burned out the later half of miss marvel, the marvels, Agatha, the later half of Loki season 2, and eternals, im just only interested in projects I’m actually interested in
For me Loki s2 and Xmen 97 really ramped up my hype for marvel going forward especially after the Disney rework stuff. I understand that phase 4 was messy but I think it was cause too many people were in the writing rooms just clashing egos rather then making a cohesive script and it ended up mix and matching storylines to catch up to an inevitable deadline, like with what happened to Antman 3 and MOM. Also each show felt seperate and disconnected from each other to be considered required content for the mcu and when u did have great actors or writers attached to a project, the people involved weren’t always passionate enough about the project for it to be successful. That’s why Loki and xmen 97 did so well. Whether or not these projects are future proof is my main concern personally but obviously there is no telling how well the Disney plus series are going to be moving forward especially with Agatha being the only live action marvel Disney plus show this year and what if season 3 for the end of December (was already filmed before this yr) so basically they had essentially this entire year to workout these projects next year to make up for this years lack of projects so fingers crossed that their plan works out alongside their movie line up next yr.
Love the comment about marrying quantity AND quality, because that's more than possible with enough effort and planning, and can't wait for all the stuff coming in the next year. Great vid and great channel!
I wasn’t surprised that What If was dropping December of this year because they revealed that season 3 was finished with a mini teaser trailer last year RIGHT after season 2 ended.
That’s a good point honestly! Just with how it took them 2 years for the last one it really shocked me but I’m glad to see they streamlined the process
Honestly I would love it if the later seasons of Daredevil Born Again take inspiration from Mark Waid's Run on the character where its more lighthearted but still keeps the core traits of the character.
F4 and born again REALLY need to be good, they had the most well-loved characters of the year and its very clear that marvel is betting anything for that proyects
Looking forward to Eyes of Wakanda based off of the animation alone Side not: but I love whenever someone says "but here's the thing" and it just shows a picture of Ben Grimm, gets me everytime
Hey, it's not Agatha, Moon Knight, or Loki, so none of these are gonna be peak Marvel tv, but I'm rly looking forward to a lot of these, and I'm actually getting excited again for some of the stuff this is all building up to in the future!
We are ready for matt murdoch with a beard! Wonder-Man could also be really cool if they nail the whole Hollywood vibe. Wonder Man looks cool from the little footage they have released and well Born Again might allegedly look awesome in the totally not leaked d23 trailer.
Personally for me the only marvel show I am excited for is daredevil born again mostly because this show looks like Netflix daredevil which makes me so happy in my opinion.
@ I am worried because the animation doesn’t look that good to me and plus part of me is kind of burned out of high school Peter Parker Spider-Man but I am hoping maybe they can surprise me and it turns out good but we shall see.
@TevyaSmolka how exactly is the animation bad we've only seen 5 seconds of actual high resolution footage and just because it's spider man in high school doesn't mean it will automatically be bad also eyes of wakanda is coming out and the animation so far looks amazing why aren't you excited for that
I think 2025 is going to be a good year for Marvel. The CGI for these shows already look better. I also just watched the Cap 4 second trailer and the Red Hulk looks SO MUCH BETTER. It’s crazy what an extra year can do for studios.
@@WholeShebangYT I also thought that they should include America Chavez as a mode of transportation. Also, she can tie into the whole multiversal thing. I'd love the project to be a tv show where each episode is in a different location. Plus, with all the new characters, it'd give time to flesh out their stories and connect with eachother
I was really worried we would have to wait 3 years until these all came out im glad Marvel is taking a risk and releasing all this stuff that Bob Chapek made them make in 2025 makes me beyond optomistic for the MCU.
The MCU projects of 2025 which really excite me are Daredevil born again, fantastic four & your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man I have a feeling that thunderbolts will be pretty good too I don't really care for iron heart or wonder man but if they turn out to be good like agatha, I'll check them out after the finale I want to be hyped for brave new world but i don't think it'll be any good
One small caveat for me with Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man is that the voice is the one from the What If Zombies episode and I wasn't a big fan of that voice. There's also the fact that I'm exhausted of highschool Spider-Man.
That’s very fair, especially on High School spidey, but from what I’ve heard from definitely legal clips it seems like he’s making the voice more his own this time around. In Zombies he was basically doing a Tom impression, but so far it sounds to me like he’s doing his own voice now which I like better
I have to be Devil's Advocate for Secret Invasion and insist Ali Selim fucked up the entirw show with reshoots, rewrites, and cutting out more than a quarter of the show in the edit (early reports said each episode was an hour long without credits, and that's clearly NOT the case). And I watched the Marvel Studios Assembled BTS documentary. I KNOW what the head writer had planned. I KNOW what Gravik's motivation is. I know the show better than most people who don't have Hollywood connections or actually worked on the show. And the final product is NOT what was planned. Sure, plans change. It happens all the time. But at some point people need to decide when enough is enough and insist they actually be allowed to make good content.
As someone who actually enjoyed the first 4 episodes of Secret Invasion, I get that. I made a video on the behind the scenes struggles so I am very familiar with what happened behind the scenes and it's a shame that what seemed to be genuinely good ideas were suffocated with reshoots, edits, and behind the scenes changes. The fact that they originally had (and then fired) the writer of Mr. Robot tells me that there is SOMETHING to this show and the good ideas in there had real potential. It's a shame that it ended up the way it did!
"Most important" is an understatement. Marvel is literally throwing EVERYTHING they still have from Phase 4 and 5 at the audiences, so you can tell Disney is really at their neck right now. Last time Marvel had that many productions at once was in 2023 and... well, let's say it was the worst year for anything in Marvel, so 2024 ended up being just a couple projects, which was the right move. People need some time to breathe from too much Marvel IP... and then they went back to overstuffing products on the shelf. Either they didn't learn anything or they're just throwing away whatever they still got. 2026 already has people hyped for 'Spider-Man 4' and 'Avengers 5', 2 movies, that's it, that's great, but 2025, they have 3 movies, one of which has hit almost a 400 MILLION budget. That's NOT how you return to the spotlight, it's too much. Nobody cares about 'Thunderbolts', 'Captain America 4' only has Red Hulk to look up to and 'Fantastic Four'... exists, I guess. I won't even talk about the shows, the only one actually important is 'DaredeviI: Born Again', so all these shows are just gonna be even more fodder wasting hundreds of millions in pointless stuff.
Also Unrelated but can you make a video about Marvel's Real Big 3? allot of people have this misconception that prior to the MCU the Avengers/Cap, Iron-Man and Thor were never popular and that " Marvels Real Big 3/4 is Spider-Man, Hulk, Wolverine/X-Men and the FF4" when in reality this is far from the truth. the X-Men when they were first introduced were received so badly that it got canceled after 66 Issues and for like 5 Years Marvel did nothing with them besides reprinting old Issues, it wasnt until 1975 with the release of Giant Size X-Men #1 that they became popular but even then they didnt enter the mainstream until the late 80s and 90s especially after the release of X-Men TAS and Wolverine only became popular after his 1981 Solo Series first released. Hulk's intitially Series was also canceled after Six Issues due to how terrible it was received and to prove to you how unpopular he was, they jumped to issue 102 because the Hulk last appeared in Tales to Astonish 101. (not sure if the Tales to Astonish magazine became the Incredible Hulk, or what the reason would be) and he entered the mainstream thanks to his 1977 TV-Show which ran from that year to 1982 plus a few Movies. the Avengers have always been popular, the only decade that they werent popular was the 90s but that decade was pretty much ruled by SM and X-Men but if you look at any other decade besides the 90s they were popular.
