"Frasier" was my favorite show, ever. The cast was incredible. In Kelsy's personal life, I've never heard of anyone with more tragedy. His beloved sister was abducted, raped and murdered by three monsters. This alone almost destroyed him and he has to go back for parole hearings trying to release the monsters on the rest of society. Therefore, he has to relive the horror of his sister's brutal death. As a child, his father was shot and killed in a drive by shooting in their front yard. Kelsey Grammer was a boss in real life. He cheated on his wife with his yoga instructor, then moved the yoga instructor into his spare house. Then asked his wife to move out, and the yoga instructor to switch from the spare house into the main house. Dang.
You are leaving a lot out of the story. His wife was definitely not a gem. Now he’s remarried to a young flight attendant he met and has young children. I think he’s still handsome. I’d probably prefer the bad boy up actual Frasier - definitely when I was young. Thankfully I’ve changed after an unwanted divorce in my early forties. Now at 49 I’d prefer a Frasier, but they don’t prefer me at this age - unless they are in their late sixties and seventies. Lol!
Was that the wife that was on a Real Housewives show? She was pretty and I thought they broke up when he went to NY to be in a play? Well, there was a woman involved
The monotone voice is reflective of an insufferably boring script that drones on and on using trite phrases over and over and over, (complexity, trajectory, multi-faceted, etc.) never moving beyond Kelsey Grammer and Shelley Long. If you want 30 minutes of “word salad” describing Grammer/Long relationship without dishing the dirt, then this film is for you.
I lost all respect for Kelsey Grammar when he cheated on Camille & had her go with him to an award ceremony for show & kept the public in the dark about his extramarital affair! Kind of like Will Smith when he hit Chris Rock! Even IF I DID enjoy a movie or show that they were in, I won’t watch it anymore because their actions affected me that negatively.
What???!!! You're saying that Kelsey Grammer cheated on his 'Gorgeous wife Camille'???!!! I don't believe it!!! I only know that when 'Some late night talk show host' asked Kelsey Grammer what really ended his marriage to Camille.......He said that she just didn't like 'SEX'. That's it. And, I believed him, because, 'Men are Men', and, that 'Camille' was 'So f--king Gorgeous and sensuous looking', that it would "Drive any normal, healthy, heterosexual man" to "Drink, drugs, depression, and, worse", if they couldn't make love to her, on a 'Regular healthy basis'!!! 'A regular healthy basis'!!! Oh yeah!!! 😀😃😄😁😆😅🤣
I didn't care for Diane, probably because of her juggling Sam and Frazier. I missed Coach, he was hilarious! And Rebecca was a treat along with that knuckle head know it all Letter Carrier. Norm was good too, and they had Paul and a few other characters that was good so I didn't miss Diane. And as much as I love "Frasier", I can't stand Lilith on either show, but I do admire Bebe Newirth. And I just LOVE the narrator's voice! Isn't he the one on BET for biographies?
Kelsey did a great job as Frazier. To make it seem like he was only there to make Long mad, seems like a disrespect to Kelsey's ability to make Frazier a great character
Long quit Cheers to do "The Money Pit". They told her no, she was under contract but she had already filmed a chunk of it next to Tom Hanks. The movie, despite Hanks, was a dud and when she asked to return to Cheers they said no.
Funny enough I didn’t know who sang the Frasier theme song. I even looked it up on the internet one day. I was in my late thirties too! I didn’t know it was Kelsey!! Now I have no idea how I missed it. Sounds just like him. Pretty bad for a 130 IQ and grad degree and former medical studies professor. My kids still remind me by asking who sings the song every time a show goes off. It makes them laugh even as teens and in early twenties. I’d make fun of me too! Clueless !!
@@arribaficationwineho32 You are welcome! I am so glad I wasn’t the only one. I seriously spent brain time thinking about this every time I heard it. I swear my thoughts confuse me! I feel sorry for anyone trying to understand me. Thanks for letting me know about you too! It makes me feel better! Lol! Can you just imagine the look Kelsey Grammar would’ve given us if we had run into him and asked him who sang the closing song? He would’ve called for security. Lol !
And I'm sure it's safe to say they were 2 American kids growing up in the heartland seeing as sam was a baseball star, hell! He had diannes debutante in the back seat of some other guy name jacks car. Sure they were suckin chili dogs outside tastie freeze😊 sadly now we have mick donalds & dairy queen, bring back tasti freeze pleeze
I liked the Frasier episode where they met their school bully. The plumbers, in fact its the only one I remember. I will never watch Cheers again becsuse Ive seen them all, back in the day, but the main reason is that I hate the theme song with a passion! Yes Pure Hatred of that song!
Sam and Diane were a great storyline for the show and the 2 actors did a wonderful job playing off each other. I hated when i found out Diane (Long) was leaving but then i think it gave the show a fresh new life and the show may not have lasted 11 seasons had it stayed based on Sam and Diane. The intro of Rebecca gave Sam more funny stories as a babe hound and after the couple story of Sam & Diane ended, it also seemed to allow the other characters to be shown and displayed even more.
The new show is cleverly written. I didn’t think I’d like it but it’s pretty good. The love/hate chemistry betwen “Frasier” and “Lilith” is still there.
John Ratzenberger was originally down to play Frasier. Until the producers saw Kelsey Grammar. Wonder if that would have worked out as well in the long run?
Okay this is really nitpicky, but In the show Frazier I found it unrealistic that a Dr of psychiatry that had no famous book that he had written, no previous account of a showbiz career would become a rich radio talk show host. In more than one episode they mentioned that he could become syndicated. So, to work 3 hours a day and to balk about having to do sleepytime tea commercials and not having a practice anymore.... I'm just saying the radio game isn't that lucrative if you don't write books to sell, don't do commercials, and are not syndicated. + not seeing patients.
@@psiloveyou1964 Frasier and his agent Bebe did 1 week Co-host of a morning talk show, while they were on hiatus from radio and renegotiating his radio contract. He would have made more money with the TV show. I also remember when Frazier and Ross went to Spokane because Spokane just picked up his radio show... Spokane is still in WA, not much of a syndication. If it were syndicated to NYC that would be a far bigger audience. I just remember Frasier with his high brow taste of the arts, buying from auction houses, having dinner parties, plus a luxury apartment with a fantastic view would have been very expensive. I lived in Seattle, it ain't cheap. The buying coffee everyday at Café Nervosa would have been a small fortune right there.
Niles on the other hand was married to a rich woman, had his own practice that included many group therapy sessions, and wrote papers for the medical supplements. His had a more real depiction of wealth. Unless Frasier had stocks and bonds... making money for working 3 hours a day/5 days a week is stretching the imagination.
Never cared for shelly longs acting or character on show i prefered Christie Ali's role Grammers show Frasier had a great cast Loved the show The new Frasier i was doubtful of resurrection of Frasier 2.0 after 2 episodes I'm gleefully surprised😮Its got Jokes good cast and that guy ALAN 😂 GIVE IT A GO &Not disappointed with Lillith's guest appearance 🎉Im warming up to this new Frasier yup im hooked ❤Freddy not so great as niles son only charachter i find annoying and not a good fit 😢Otherwise better than i would have beleived going to go watch episode 4! 😂❤
Shelly was a good actress. Kirstie was good too, but Diane was great on the show and in that role. Her personality was so good in contrast to Sam. Of course Kelsey want on to his own very successful show for years.
Wasn't Kelsey Grammer accused of having sex with an underage girl? Even though he wasn't charged, there was communication between the two of them of a personal nature. He has had a lot of stuff happen in his life. This is one person that I would think of being real sketchy and pushing the moral boundaries to the the limit.
The producers' explanation for keeping Kelsey, makes sense. I think Kelsey is sincere in his explanation, but his perception is mistaken. Just as a practical, financial matter, producers would not keep an actor to continue friction between two actors.
I loved cheers and frasier. But I can’t be the only one who sees this as a typical Scientology ploy. They liked the character of Frasier(and Kelsey) when he made Scientologists and Scientologist Alley look good. They 💩 on him when he became a huge star portraying a psychiatrist. The Cult of Scientology hates psychiatry
A character like Cliff Clavin would never work today, because his fellow bar flies would instantly shut down his know-it-all banter by googling on their phones. Same goes for “Married With Children.” Al Bundy taking his phone to the bathroom instead of a newspaper, would not have the same comedic effect.
Ugh. The title is misleading, almost in a way that makes it clickbait . 🤨 The photo and the title suggest Kelsey couldn't stand Allie, and yet the video notes Allie supported Kelsey and that he was very fond of her. Unethical to mislead people in this way.
This is expected when you have a Lead driver that has a vast depth of character to get around.. If Frasier had allowed the first 4 episodes for character development, the new cast then they could have supported him much better than being mere characturs of the past... Sadly this wasn't done
I think the new Frasier is funny. I think the characters need more time to understand themselves in their characters. It’s a natural progression to see frasier explore fatherhood in the next chapter of his life. I do agree the older cast seem to be funnier. I think the recent clips on UA-cam, I laughed heartily. I want to see how they will progress, there still story to be told. I think the upset from disappointed fan,s are invested to see all the old faces. But even the first Fraizer (after cheers) was a reinvention of new cast members apart from cheers). They are doing a new thing. I think Alan is also an archetype of Niles, the other female colleague as Ross. He mentioned playing the sons of frasier n Nile’s, probably need more time to settle into their roles and hone in on their craft. I hear that doesn’t properly happen even in the best of tv shows…until after 3rd or 5th season. I think it’s still charming.
I want Niles back too! The way the two "brothers" played off each other was nothing short of genius. 😅😂🤣

Oh yeah!!! 😀😃😄😁😆😅🤣
I have to agree with you. Cheaters are scumbags. Be honest and upfront by ending your current relationship first.
Loved cheers and it's cast. However... Why use an AI voice? İt's so disconcerting.
(Sigh) I thought this was going to be an actual interview with KG not the overly used AI generated voice. 😌
Clueless !!
I didnt know that! Thanks!
Never could stand Shelly Long!!
I'm sure she will lose sleep over that
I liked the Frasier episode where they met their school bully.
I am hoping for another season (or more) of Frasier reboot
The new show is cleverly written. I didn’t think I’d like it but it’s pretty good. The love/hate chemistry betwen “Frasier” and “Lilith” is still there.
They should of called it "Diane"
Seemed to be about her
HAVE
What's up with the weird pronunciation of english words like "Kelsey", "season" and "reverberated" ? Really sounds unprofessional...
I beleive he also had a television show.
@@psiloveyou1964
Frasier and his agent Bebe did 1 week Co-host of a morning talk show, while they were on hiatus from radio and renegotiating his radio contract.
That's performance conflict that gets the story on the straight. Remember reading books?
What is a sezon?
Norm !😂
Wasn't Kelsey Grammer accused of having sex with an underage girl? Even though he wasn't charged, there was communication between the two of them of a personal nature. He has had a lot of stuff happen in his life. This is one person that I would think of being real sketchy and pushing the moral boundaries to the the limit.
The producers' explanation for keeping Kelsey, makes sense. I think Kelsey is sincere in his explanation, but his perception is mistaken.
Just as a practical, financial matter, producers would not keep an actor to continue friction between two actors.
I love ❤the reboot. Its a good show compared to the other garbage that is out there.
A 31-minute video with AI-generated voice-over that takes a ten thousand word salad to say nothing.
Superb production/ acting/story lines/and talent 🤙🤙🤙
This is a completely AI generated video- the script, narration, and editing.
Mistreatment for being a sitcom celebrity? Bullshit. She was not Alexis Carrington.
Someone please edit this stuff.
I think it was Grammer's talent that kept him on the show, and now wanting to annoy Long.
Ugh. The title is misleading, almost in a way that makes it clickbait . 🤨 The photo and the title suggest Kelsey couldn't stand Allie, and yet the video notes Allie supported Kelsey and that he was very fond of her. Unethical to mislead people in this way.
So very sad how Shelley Long let herself go in later years. To see her current photos at 70+ years old, punch in SHELLY LONG-PHOTOS
The annoying AI generated voice, mispronouncing so many words, makes it too difficult to listen to this video.
40 years ago when I was about 6yo cheers used to be on at 10pm on a Sunday night
We LOVE Frasier 2023!! ❤
watching her now on Modern Family, she really has hit the wall. Hard.
That’s what happens when women get old. The fact that she is still getting work negates the comment.
Id say fraiser is the most successful spin off ever.
I cant think if one better than that.
You are without a doubt, younger than 50. Research from " All in the Family"_ the Jeffersons + Maude.
Big take away in all this - PICKARD was on Cheers ??? 5:42 !!!!!! Wow.
Woody Harrelson had the best career out of all the cheers cast he blew up on the big screen
Diane Chambers was perfection... i would have rather kept her than fraiser....
Me too. Loved that character
Kelsey has an appointment with a military tribunal, along with the entire cast of cheers.
Seek help
I think the actress developed a dislike for the character because the actress actually had some of the character's flaws and craziness.
