I like chrome. Its more chip resistant than paint, it doesn’t fade, it doesn’t oxidize, it’s easier to clean than black finishes, it doesn’t scratch. It looks good. Make Chrome Great Again!
I eventually gravitated away from the all blacked out looks and back to chrome. My SD Platinum with the chrome grill and painted bumpers is a nice medium.
My Ram has so much chrome I call it my grandpa truck. I want to cover up the chrome on the mirrors it screws up the reflection I’m looking for when driving.

The only grille that looks good on the new Tundra is the TRD Pro. Any of the chrome grilles on the Tundras look awful. "Trying too hard" comes to mind. I prefer the previous generation Tundra grille. Much cleaner look.

I don't have the answers to these questions, but it seems that income has not kept up with the soaring prices of these trucks. Who are the buyers of these luxury trucks? Businesses?

Hi Guys, Thanks for the video. I just bought a New 24 Lariat off the lot I’m glad I didn’t wait to order a 2025. De-content seems to be the plan with the same base price. Changes to the Lariat's 1. 6.8 Gas standard on Lariat. 7.3 now optional 2. Drivers Door keypad is now optional and only dealer installed 3. Leather seating surfaces are now optional 4. Electric adjustable steering column is now optional 5. Reverse sensing system is now optional 6. They removed 12v outlet in located on rear of console 7. Baja interior now optional only with active x (vinyl) seating 8. Now only optional rear power sliding window w/ defrost/tint
If it aint broke.. I actually appreciate approaches like this, especially for something like the pickup truck market. Helps down the road for commonality of parts if/when things need to be replaced.
I don't see why they don't use the 1500 cab. It has more room. They've been using this same cab for ages! I know my crew would definitely appreciate the extra room.
The Fords look way better. I have a Ford, but I always thought RAM made great looking trucks. I agree with another commenter that RAM has outdone the Tundra for the ugliest front end.

The rebel grille is way to much. But with you guys talking about the size of front ends. Unfortunately its necessary. We keep pushing for more and more power. Well that creates more heat which needs to be dealt with. So more airflow/cooling is a must to keep them alive
I’ve been a Mopar truck fan for years but the Stellantis era Rams have lost me as a customer. If Ram wanted to sell trucks they would focus on reliability, they would give us the larger cab like we’ve been asking for the last 5 years, and they would make their trucks more enjoyable to drive. I’ve had 3 2019+ Rams, all awful representations of durability and driving experience.

I am a Cummins fan, I have one in the driveway, but I went back to an older one because of how awful my 2020, 2021, and 2022 trucks were. Don’t get me wrong, I am a huge Cummins fan but the CGI block Cummins engines are a failure point all their own. Several diesel mechanic shops on UA-cam, on their websites, and over the phone will tell you that the CGI block Cummins is using is the weakest B-Series block ever produced. It has major design flaws and has been failing regularly before 200k miles. That’s not the quality I know Cummins is capable of and it’s a shame. Move into the 68RFE and AS69RC, Ram took the manual trans out of the picture and didn’t have any great autos for consumers to result to. The 68 can be built to handle power and heavy loads but so can the 10 speeds now, and honestly the 10R100 doesn’t need a whole lot of tweaking to be reliable. The AS69RC (Aisin) has zero aftermarket so if it fails out of warranty the replacement/rebuild cost is astronomical. Pick your battles but shoot man, the Ford has 1 timebomb that can be mitigated with regular filter changes, the Ram is a timebomb that is going to blow up in your face.
I've loved my Rams, but now I'm really happy I have another Super Duty on the way. Bravo for the transmission change finally, that's one of the main reasons I switched....well and the HO Powerstroke. But good lord that's a nasty front end. Like a herd of five year olds were finger painting.
I think I will keep getting it done in my tuned fourth gen with the Cummins pushing around 500 HP and still getting great fuel economy. I love the look of these trucks and I’m excited about the new ZF trans. I’m just not looking to upgrade anytime soon. It’s hard to beat a Laramie 4th gen in terms of performance and comfort. As primarily a Ford owner the blacked out Platinum looks good. Still not crazy about the current super duty in terms of exterior design but the black over the chrome is my personal taste. The Rebel grill on the Ram looks terrible imo but I like the color-matched grill all the way to the right.
All Ram had to do was put the ZF 8spd in their HD trucks. They don’t need to do anything else. The HP and Torque were fine. Of course more is better but that wasn’t the issue. It was the 6spd auto. Put the much needed 8spd in the HD trucks and be done. Put more heavy duty duel stage coil overs on the 2500 HD truck to raise the pay load.
Headlights look cool, bumper is fine, but I cannot explain what look they were going for with the grills, especially with the Rebel. Someone asked "what directions should these grill lines go?" and some one said "yes". Also a line grill with a grill mesh behind and around it just screams clashing design. There is a good looking truck in there, just not with those grills.

I love the look of these trucks and I’m excited about the new ZF trans. I’m just not looking to upgrade anytime soon. It’s hard to beat a Laramie 4th gen in terms of performance and comfort. It will have the ho standard with the 8spd maybe a slight power bump.
As primarily a Ford owner the blacked out Platinum looks good. Still not crazy about the current super duty in terms of exterior design but the black over the chrome is my personal taste. The Rebel grill on the Ram looks terrible imo but I like the color-matched grill all the way to the right.
Ford SD looks a lot better. That new Ram grille looks like one of those electric fly swatter.
These are making 2020’s models pretty attractive

Ford already has lariat, king ranch, platinum, and limited for luxury trims. They’re delusional for adding another one.

All Ram had to do was put the ZF 8spd in their HD trucks. They don’t need to do anything else. The HP and Torque were fine. Of course more is better but that wasn’t the issue. It was the 6spd auto. Put the much needed 8spd in the HD trucks and be done. Put more heavy duty duel stage coil overs on the 2500 HD truck to raise the pay load.

Headlights look cool, bumper is fine, but I cannot explain what look they were going for with the grills, especially with the Rebel. Someone asked "what directions should these grill lines go?" and some one said "yes". Also a line grill with a grill mesh behind and around it just screams clashing design. There is a good looking truck in there, just not with those grills.
Still amazes me that Ram and GM don’t make a 4500 pickup with all the trim options/ full output engines like Ford does with the F450
