I’ve had people ask if I praise the devil because of the goth fashion I choose to wear and the music I listen to. I’m actually a Christian and have been a believer for 13 years LOL
I transferred to a new high school in 87 and a guy gave me a hard time for not being able to name Love & Rockets first album. Two years later in 89 guess who scored back stage passes at a Love & Rockets show? Me! LOL That crap happened a lot in the 80's, especially if you were a young woman into punk music. I had to prove my punk and goth music knowledge so many times back then.
Hi! I'm also gen X and can relate. You had to be so much cookie cutter back then. I'm purely a mixture of different things. Ok this comment hit me hard, you’re more than valid if you’re a goth that doesn’t wear the clothes or does it all the time. I didn’t wear “goth clothes” until last year and I have identified as goth for 12 years now. Fuck anyone who invalidates you, you are absolutely a part of it. The clothes don’t make the goth.

Thank you for addressing these things! The fetishism is something that's really started to bother me more and more, as I imagine a lot of goth women online can relate to. Not only does it piss me off that people make a bunch of assumptions about me, it also pisses me off that they somehow feel it's okay to behave inappropriately towards me because of these assumptions! I've had quite a few people assume I do some level of SW or at least spicy fetish pictures, which of course they request. I've had people assume I'm a dominatrix and tried to get me to sext with them as such. I've had people assume I'm promiscuous and/or "easy" and they seemed genuinely surprised when I wasn't. Look, first of all I'm very vanilla and very monogamous so assuming I'm a kinky town bike because of how I look is straight up incorrect, but EVEN IF IT WASN'T, even if I was a whole entire BDSM queen, that would STILL not make it appropriate to message me gross shit out of the blue!
EXACTLY MY POINT! It truly is disgusting and sad that goth people (mostly women) have to go through the fetishism we deal with mainly online. Sadly I don’t see an end to it, as there are never really any repercussions for those preying on us
I feel relieved hearing more people assure and validate that you can be goth and Christian at the same time. I’m afraid to be judged in the goth community because of my beliefs that Jesus is my savior. And that’s just me being a baby bat and being scared of judgment, and being ignorant to how really lovely and open minded everyone is in the goth community. I apologize for assuming and being scared of being judged. I will always love Jesus and also post punk lol. Thank you for this lovely video and kisses right back to you girl
I approached Goth from the opposite side of the spectrum as you: I am atheist, and I loathed religion in any way it manifested itself. One of the reasons I detest religion is the way it drives people to be hashly judgemental of anybody and whatever deviates from the accepted canons of normalcy and morality. Being pretty insecure and afraid of being singled out as the unrepentant sinner, I suffered a lot my family's continued attempts at turning me into a good church boy, but did not dare openly rebel against them. Then I grew up, managed to live my own life away from my parents. And I severed all my ties with the congregation. And started to openly expressed my disdain and rejection of any religious rite, scripture and value. Then I slowly turned Goth. And I slowly started wearing religious symbols again (together with the usual Pagan and satanic paraphernalia). And... after a few years I was indeed surprised to find a few Christians in my own Goth community, but even more so I was at finding out that I enjoyed their companionship. And that they did not consider me a heathen even when they knew I loved ruined churches because, just like bombed-out uboot docks witnessed to the fall of the Nazi regime, they materially represented to me the failure of God's promise of a life of justice, peace and abundance to believers. We still meet at the same places, the few Goth hideaways in town, we dance together, we keep in touch when we're not in the same place. They never tried to convert me, I never mocked they faith. We all enjoy being part of the same community. Occasionally we trade excess jewelry, garments that do not fit. And we dance a lot. In a sense, Goth is my religion now. I find meaning in it, it's my community, a place and a people that I can relate to.
I try to dress more masculine to avoid sexualization but some how it still happens. am almost 30 and still very gothy emo punk (yeah I don't fit neatly into a subculture) and have no plans in changing, yet I still feel imposter syndrome due to gatekeeping. I hate live in Japan and so many people ask to take pictures and get so many compliments when I am out and about. Its kinda ironic that Japan is one of the most homogenous culture I can think of but I feel so incredibly welcome and safe to dress how I do.
Dressing masculine won't do anything for you unfortunately. People will chase anything that breathes when they're desperate so don't blame yourself too much.
Funny cause I did my public speaking presentation on the differences between emo and scene as well as the different subcategories of alternative fashion 😂. I want to preference that when it comes to mental health people always assume the people who don’t fit society mold are sick in the head. Like how is someone dressing a certain way means they’re mentally ill compared to someone who go can dress like Jordan Peterson. At this point I’m glad my RBF keeps people away from me. Goths can be whatever religion they want just like cosplayers but if you’re apart of the Black Community oh boy get ready for the “Oreo” crap 🙄. As someone who both siblings and childhood was labeled as “white”, it’s ridiculous to the point that I even call out other blacks for “white appropriation”. You can’t be a kettle calling the pot black
Great vid, I grew up in the satanic panic era and as a child certainly held the misconception that goths were satan worshippers, due in no small part to being raised in a Christian cult. I've given a bit of thought to the expectation of whiteness in goth scenes. I won't say it were part of goth culture; at least I firmly believe it shouldn't be, but it should be acknowledged that both external and internal expectations of whiteness in goth do exist, and were a big problem when bands like Siouxsie and the Banshees wearing nazi outfits for shock value started attracting a notable far-right segment to their shows. Furthermore, the inside views shouldn't imo be dismissed especially with any advocacy of cultural appropriation. Instead, I think it'd be more useful to acknowledge and highlight the role of people of color, with artists like Death, in forming early punk culture in which goth originated, as well as modern goth bands like O. Children.
I'm a 14 year old baby bat, and I REALLY admire the subculture and music and just gothic dressing style. I'd really like to put makeup on, crazy eyeliner and my parents do allow me to, but I'm simply just too shy and hesitant to go out like that because the environment I live in has absolutely NO goth culture and for people to see a 14 y.o dressed like that would probably make them call the police on me 😅 I believe that one day I'll be confident enough to express myself however I want, but to all the other baby bats out there, if your parents don't allow you to look how you want to look, or if you just live in a place where it's "weird" to look like that, don't worry, you're not alone 🖤 I know it sucks, but trust that one day you'll be able to not gaf about what other people think of you. Love yourself cuz you're amazing
That first one is so true, people assume goth people are mentally unwell or come from poor backgrounds. I’m just like no, I just like the music and the literature loll
I wear black everyday in high school and everyone doesn’t believe me that I am goth, which literally zone out my dream. Being goth makes us cool, and I’m catholic I like to be goth on autumn and winter. Stereotypes of goths is very uncomfortable, and no matter what ethnics these people are, it’s just a style, you don’t have to paint your face white, my skin is brown and I choose my real complexion to put on goth makeup…it’s fun to be Goth.
I am 31, but consider myself a babybat as I am just beginning to explore into the goth community. I'm only now discovering the amazing bands like Siouxsie and the Banshees and Bauhaus, and realizing how amazing these bands are. I definitely identified as emo growing up, and still enjoy a lot of emo music, but I definitely now identify as goth. I'm only just dipping my toes into the fashion and music, and am very much afraid of being called a poser. But finding this video, and finding your channel along with many other goth creators, I am slowly gaining my confidence. So thank you for making this video, and for all your content, you are truly an inspiration!
I really liked your words, you are a very educated person And I agree on the words I am a Muslim and a very Gothic fashion that does not matter religions at all I love you very much, I hope you are happy in your life 💋 💋🖤🖤
This video is so awesome!! Thank you for this because it’s def needed. I have heard some of the stereotypes that you mentioned. The main one are the devil worship one and the “oh I wear black because I’m depressed” I am depressed but that didn’t make me become a Victorian goth or wear a black lace skirt. And then the I have to be white…. Oh how many times have I heard this one….. that’s doesn’t stop me from dressing Victorian goth or listening to Bauhaus.
A lot of people look at me in school and are like "emo" and I just walk away from them. like look up the difference between goth and emo I just get annoyed when people call me emo🕷🕸👻
Hello! I’m a Baby bat (still learning about romantic goth), i agree with all you said specially the part of “you need to dress certain way to be goth” like no? Goths can dress with pink, purple, red or even blue, not just black and white. As soon i try to explain people that we don’t always need to dress with goth clothes they tend to call me “posser”, like really they think they know everything but the subculture is based on the music and many other things more than the clothes. Seriously, your video made me feel valid and answered all of my questions, take care 💜🥀!
Awesome vid🖤🕷as someone who listens to emo, punk, goth and metal i always chuckle when ppl try to use emo as an insult especially when im wearing a full on punk outfit😅😂
I've been watching your videos randomly after I subbed. I was a baby bat in 2005, and have spent my whole life ever sense closely connected with the gothic culture. I'm 31 now and yeah they told me back in the day it was just a phase. I'm happy that goth exists. It took me a while to find who I was as a person in my younger years. My first girlfriend was goth but she died on 2005. I'm more of a loner goth, mental illness is very real for me but unrelated to my culture/style. I admire your dedication and style, freedom of expression is something we are lucky enough to have in this country. Be thankful we can express ourselves freely and just ignore the judgemental eyes
The fetishism part is so true! I get it alot because of the fact that I am goth and when I tell people to stop (im 14 btw!) they think me being goth is an excuse for they fetishism and at this point pedophilia. Loved your video though as always!
That’s such a beautiful video. Thank you so much. Even as an Emo, you have spoken out of my souls with some of these points. Especially the last one. But also the thing with the music. I mean, I get that some people are more emotional when it comes to it, but calling someone out for something as personal as music just is, seems so wrong. I have to say, I was luckily never told that being Emo is just a phase, but I know people from other subcultures that have been receiving comments like that. Let’s continue expressing ourselves in our own way, to show, it’s almost never “just a phase”. Thank you again for this. This was actually the first video I’ve watched, but I will definitely Continue following your content. Have a nice day Your fellow Worldly Emo 🖤
I find the best way to cope with depression is extreme metal & copius amounts of alcohol. Especially when the girl of your dreams post naughty pics on line
P.S. Back in the day in El Paso, Tx we had Fort Bliss and we had this one dude who was black and he was our first black goth and he was so awesome and part of our family. He had his style and he met us and he instintantly became our friend for life. He was more death rock and old school which made him even more bad ass. He didn't like the new stuff as he was more Specimen, Bauhaus, Alien Sex Fiend, etc. A+++
Inevitably the mental state influences the gothic vision. Wake up and listen "Cranes"? Idts. People forget it's a musical movement. Nothing to do with existentialist literature. Some of the bands labeled gothic didn't know they were gothic.
Scene hair is more emo. Also another stereotype is you have to have black hair and wear black. Its not just about aesthetic. And there is pastel goth, white goth.
At my bus stop someone called me emo because I was wearing a skeleton cardigan and I tried so hard not to laugh (and failed). It’s just so funny when kids call me emo because it’s an uneducated thing to say and they’re unknowingly making themselves look stupid.
I’m a Christian goth and one of the nicest people you will ever meet but kids at my school and even parents profile for me being a shoplifter and a satanic devil worshipper sometimes I wish people would get to know you before they judge you.
I get called emo almost every day. I'm a metalhead and a punk, but I used to be emo. I'm not anymore, but I have no vendetta against the emo community. I think they're awesome people! I just found that the punk and metal community fit me more. But I'm just sick of being called emo... It gets annoying, ya know?
Someone once asked me if I'm depressed and I was just like:" You think if people wear black, this means they're depressed?!". I was just so confused and kinda angry at that time. Like, how can you be so confident and sure about yourself to ask a random person if they're depressed based on, how they dress. But I guess that's just humans 😐
Thank you SO MUCH. I learned a lot! For instance, I don't know what to call myself. I am interested in (have been in teen years), Bauhaus, Siouxsie, and the other goth band you mentioned. The Cure is good too, but as a teen I also liked The Cocteau Twins, new wave music like Gary Numan, and still love Electronic dance music. When techno came out, and also industrial music. I am gen X so I'm older, but I never dressed high goth. I like avant garde looks especially hair wise. I had a bunch of misunderstandings that you mentioned. In the 80s you really had to be cookie cutter goth, always straight black hair, and in the early 90s noticed many Betty Page hair clones. I have extra curly hair and could pull off the shape with really long hair and big bangs cut up on the sides. I just got that all cut off and have a pixie wolf cut. So, I am an eclectic person but am and have always been interested in electronic music no matter what I look like. One time I was in a club on a goth night and a black goth woman was dancing.Thank You!!🌬️❤️🔥🌬️❤️🔥🌬️❤️🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Think I'll give myself a little like since no one else did!❤️ I mean, my comment has been up for a month!
I'm encountering issues with a Goth Community Group on Facebook. I posted a photo of myself wearing black eyeliner but no lipstick (I avoid lipstick because it makes me gag when eating, possibly due to OCD). My nails were painted black with a Halloween theme featuring witches on broomsticks. At 39, I've embraced the goth subculture since my teenage years in high school. After submitting my picture for admin approval, I noticed other goth images were approved except mine the following day. It seems they might not approve it because they don't consider me "goth enough" or perhaps they think I'm too old. This makes me feel offended and discriminated against for not wearing lipstick, for my age, and for not fitting their goth standards.
Thanks so much for mentioning the whole ‘you have to dress goth every day’ one. I am one of the people who can’t afford to do so (but would if I could lol). So it’s nice to hear stuff like this.
Haha... heard them forever. And I promise... for me it's not a phase. I am 54 and goth since the 80s. One thing you never mentioned... Goths can't laugh! Haha, that one we had fun with on our ways to the clubs when I was younger. Stay safe gorgeous 🦇🖤🖤🖤🖤🦇
It’s so great to hear from a real 80s goth! I hope you’re doing well! You are absolutely right- people are so surprised by my bubbly personality when they get to know me!
I'm so goth I shit bats..lol and been there done it now I'm 49 and still listen to the same music and have a wife, 2 kids graduating college, 2 german shepherds, a cat, a nerd game room and I still listen to Christian Death and the Sisters to Slayer and Misfits and live a humble life and a long white beard like Gandolf and pretty happy. Pretty much the opposite of goth but I consider myself an old school goth retired but still will punch anyone in the face if they piss me off. Actually I'm pretty nice but I already did the crazy life in the 90's and early 2000's and I'm done now. I just live my life in comfort with my family now and my wife loves the The Cure etc. and I still live my life happy. Nuff said.
Grace, I have always been from multiple different subcultures too and I don't understand why I have to be put in a box. I'm older, but open minded enough to accept any younger musicians I love. Like, I love the trans woman's music by Sophie.
I've been into the "goth" world since I can remember. It is a lifestyle but some go a little over board on it. I do not wear makeup or walk around brooding like everyone thinks we do. I wear alot of black clothing I do have tattoos and piercings but not of my nose lips or other areas except my tongue. I guess I'm more of a gentlemen style but enough to know that I'm different. People see me and know there's something but there's a little mystery behind me that makes them intrigued by me. I don't have face crook (yes I spelled it like that) or Twitter or anything else. I only use youtube to check out different thing's ergo you site. You are very beautiful and alluring and I'm glad I stumbled upon you! Trick-or-treat darling🦇🌹
I have to say thank you so much for actually being respectful to the BDSM/kink scene when you made your distinction. I have seen so many videos like this where the woman gets to that point and says something like ‘some goths might be into stuff like that but most of them, like me, think it’s gross and dirty and we are absolutely not promiscuous. So don’t harass us since most of us aren’t like that.’ This implies it is ok to objectify women who are into kink, and/or are less chaste. Nobody should be objectifying anyone, period, and you handled this so well. I actually don’t like seeing how many people will use this point as an excuse to shame the kink community while wearing our accessories and even gear. Like, if they think we are all dirty and gross, why wear a chest harness and a bondage choker? I don’t care if people wear it who are not particularly into the community, but I find it incredibly disrespectful to wear more specific gear if they think way we are doing is wrong or beneath them. I don’t think any subculture should look down on another. You can criticize the entertainment behind it because entertainment exists to be critiqued, but we are all outsiders to the masses, and we should at least not look down on our fellow subcultures. This includes ones that have a sexual element to them.
8:42 Firstly, I'm so srry for my eng Thank you AHHH!! When I was a child, I saw goth woman at the book and was just like "I WANT BE HER WHEN I GREW UP". And then, this year, I went to new school and saw goth girls. I listened to post punk before, so I liked goth music too. And then I told them that that I listen to 1 goth band (many people said that molchat doma is goth, but it's post punk, so). They was really mean and, cause I'm from Ukraine, said, that I support w*r (molchat doma not even rus, band they're 🇧🇾). Than I had a panic attack and ran from them all over the school for a month ((
As a Christian baby bat, I love how you talk about the diversity of goth people. It helped me feel happy and accepted. Thank you so much! I love your content!
I got the Satan worship crap a lot when I was a teenager in the mid/late 90s, but that's when the satanic panic was still a thing, and Marilyn Manson was public enemy #1. It's wound down over the years, and now I'm something of a novelty in the conservative Christian town I'm staying in at the moment. In terms of gatekeeping, it's garbage. As mentioned in the video, some people are new to the subculture. Another thing is that gatekeepers don't take into account that some people freeze when put on the spot, even though they know the answers/bands/lit/albums etc.
I’m actually mentally ill I’ve been to the mental hospital twice for depression , and I used to draw a lot to help with it now I dress as my old drawings but yet I’m not as sad , im learning to be goth , it helps me sooo much , I feel happy but I don’t look happy XD it’s funny how that works
@@tequilajoseph1938 Ok, I like some goth bands, but mostly electronic music too. I guess you answered my question because although I like to dye my hair black I look pretty eclectic, not goth. I listen to The Cure, mostly metal. I do usually dress in dark clothes and paint my face white (idk why) and people call me emo. Yes I also listen to emo music. But I’m tired of being told that. Idk how to make them see I’m goth. Also I’ve been told I’m not white enough which is also why I gave up on goth at 11

dude my whole life i've been emo, and i've recently become a baby bat. i've always heard from people that i'm sad, and depressed, even got bullied by it, and that i need Jesus or whatever, which actually made me not want to be christian lol. when i started dressing completely the way i wanted, my family was not a fan (still isn't) and they literally tell me EVERY DAY that it's just a phase and that if they were me tHeY wOULdNT wAsTe THeiR bEAuTy and it's so fucking annoying. luckily i've never experienced being fetishized for dressing alternative, i've been catcalled for it tho and i'm still a minor :,)
I'm a Christian goth, new to it. I more listen to alt rock bands that traditional goth. Am I still goth? I've tried listening to the traditional goth music but can't get into it, everything else I love
I'm a mixed bab who is neurodivergent, and I do think that my leaning towards alt fashions, ie lolita, decora, goth, emo, mori kei, and cottage core, among others, does stem moderately from having asd, due to already being incredibly non conforming as well as being extremely passionate about things like art, music, and fashion, as well as gothic leaning literature. I do still hate the stereotype, especially related to depression, but I will agree, goths are not a monolith. I just happen to really find the music and fashion really cool.
I’ve been called “poser” and “stereo type goth” only because I don’t like listening to the “traditional” goth bands 🙄 even tho music is just music… the people that called me these names aren’t even goth themselves that’s the funny part.
Guys help,i like dressing in full colors and i basically like things that isn't considired goth but i still love goth music and literature. Am i still considered goth?
Idk what makes someone a goth. I love the overall style but I have been told I'm not goth because I am too nice... I probably listen to some goth bands without knowing it too. Tho I would love like reading or song suggestions
There's nothing wrong with being nice. If you want to get more into goth music, the OG bands are a good place to start but there are a lot of more modern goth bands too. OGs: Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and Joy Division. Some newer bands are like, Drab Majesty, Vandal Moon, Male Tears, Twin Tribes, i believe The Birthday Massacre is considered goth as well, and many others. I could be wrong about a few of these but its what I know so far. The basis of the subculture is the music so if you do like and enjoy the music, that makes you goth. The fashion is a mere extension of the culture and is not a basis. Many goths just happen to dress in the black attire and such but there are also those who do not dress in goth style and are still goth. Just clearing up some confusion :).
My dad thinks my depression will leave if I stop dressing goth. I don't have depression.

Sadly I don’t see an end to it, as there are never really any repercussions for those preying on us
THANK YOU!! As a Christian who is not only goth, but also nonbinary, it is nearly impossible to find people who accept all parts of my identity.
Don't know you but I accept you.
I do 💙
That actually pushed me away from the scene in the end, sadly.
I accept you, although not under any sexual identities
@@GothicRose. don't start that bull.
I’m Not Christian

How Cool,I Love Japanese People ,The People Who Adopted Me He Watches Baseball, But I Don’t Watch Sports
Twenty eight Black, Goth, and PROUD!!🖤🖤👽☠️
I've also been judged by gatekeepers.😢
Children.
The goth community is wholesome im a baby bat and a proud goth
I Agree It’s Fun To Be Goth And I Love It ,I Would Like To Be Your Friend
I'm so glad I found this and that someone said it! Everything you said is how I feel. We are inclucive!
I really liked your words, you are a very educated person
And I agree on the words I am a Muslim and a very Gothic fashion that does not matter religions at all
I love you very much, I hope you are happy in your life 💋 💋🖤🖤
Thank you so much for your kind words! I hope you have a lovely day!
Thank you! And oh exactly, it’s such a silly “insult”
Sometimes the "darkest" people are the most enlightened. Live your life. Death comes quick for everyone.
Have a nice day
Your fellow Worldly Emo 🖤
Ton of social media has now become a problem the more time passes
This video is really true, and you addressing these problems are really important. But the way you said "WEiNer PiCturEs" just k!lls me😭😭
I find the best way to cope with depression is extreme metal & copius amounts of alcohol.
90s I remember those talkshows hating anyone that looked or though different it's 😔 and pathetic 😕😐😠
Scene hair is more emo. Also another stereotype is you have to have black hair and wear black. Its not just about aesthetic. And there is pastel goth, white goth.
Goth helped me get through some tough times in my life
At my bus stop someone called me emo because I was wearing a skeleton cardigan and I tried so hard not to laugh (and failed). It’s just so funny when kids call me emo because it’s an uneducated thing to say and they’re unknowingly making themselves look stupid.
4:08 - 4:11, thankfully I don't have that problem. Don't listen to those gatekeepers. 😌
I’m a Christian goth and one of the nicest people you will ever meet but kids at my school and even parents profile for me being a shoplifter and a satanic devil worshipper sometimes I wish people would get to know you before they judge you.
I’m a Wiccan and I’m goth 🖤
I get called emo almost every day. I'm a metalhead and a punk, but I used to be emo. I'm not anymore, but I have no vendetta against the emo community. I think they're awesome people! I just found that the punk and metal community fit me more. But I'm just sick of being called emo... It gets annoying, ya know?
Someone once asked me if I'm depressed and I was just like:" You think if people wear black, this means they're depressed?!". I was just so confused and kinda angry at that time. Like, how can you be so confident and sure about yourself to ask a random person if they're depressed based on, how they dress. But I guess that's just humans 😐
i spit my drink when you said "wiener pictures"
Nuff said.
6:40, luckily, my parents never said that when I told them I was interested in the goth subculture. Keep making these vidoes, you do great 👍
3:47 and 5:32 red moments 😅
I wear stuff from multiple alt subcultures but people only call me goth as a compliment & emo as an insult, it's annoying
Thanks for making this video and thank you for explaining this so thoroughly.
i just love and adore this make up look significantly.
aside, love and preach it ♡
Your makeup here looks soooo good omg
Thank you so much lovely! ❤️

Firstly, I'm so srry for my eng
Thank you AHHH!! Than I had a panic attack and ran from them all over the school for a month ((
Personally, I think goth people of color slayyyy, so beautiful.
When I saw this my first thought was depression and mental health issues😂😂
As a Christian baby bat, I love how you talk about the diversity of goth people. It helped me feel happy and accepted. Thank you so much! I love your content!
i had an old man ask me while i was working if i ate goats and sacrificed kids bc i was wearing my pentacle LMAO
I switch between Goth, and whatever the ethereal fairy style is all the time, but it doesn’t change my morbid interest or the music that I listen to.
Some ppl also assume that emo and scene are the same thing too
5:30, as much as it's not true. I can't lie, that is so flipping funny 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
There is no way that can be true 😂😂😂😂
Am I a goth if I don't dress gothic but listen to goth music??
Yes, goth is a music based subculture.🖤🖤
@@tequilajoseph1938 Ok, I like some goth bands, but mostly electronic music too. I guess you answered my question because although I like to dye my hair black I look pretty eclectic, not goth. I've got some piercings, but I'm not into depressing music or books. I am whatever. But I am counterculture and look it.
@@Givebackthescarf I can be as goth as I please, thank you.
I'm not goth I'm considered emo/punk but at my old school I used to get called goth a lot.
I listen to The Cure, mostly metal. I do usually dress in dark clothes and paint my face white (idk why) and people call me emo. Yes I also listen to emo music. But I’m tired of being told that. Idk how to make them see I’m goth. Also I’ve been told I’m not white enough which is also why I gave up on goth at 11
girl your makeup looks so amazing
This was an amazing video
Thank you so much! I will check out her channel!!
Ladies, pro tip: Every time some guy tells you to "nAMe FiVE sOnGs," ask them to name five white men they've asked that to. That usually shuts them down pretty quickly.
I love ur background wall also what lipstick are u using ?
It's not a phase it's a lifestyle
It’s been a phase since 6th grade 😂 I’m a year out of highschool
im goth and mentally ill and have struggled with sh and s___cide, and im also autistic and i hate being told im "only goth because im mentally ill" or it "makes sense" that im goth because im mentally ill/autistic
HUN PLEASE DROP THIS MAKE-UP TUT 🛐🛐🛐🛐
Theoretically there isnt anything stopping a Buddhist goth in fact. In fact, Shinto is also an interesting goldmine of dark trivia.
Yeah, I’ve definitely been called both satanist and emo in my youth so much that I actually started despising the emo culture for a while. Glad I grew out of it; they’re not at fault for normies’ ignorance obv.
Boys at school have called my friends and I
“suicide squad” and it’s happened out in public before. It’s annoying and also being asked about our religious beliefs even though most of us are atheists.
I am a 23 year old white male and I have love for the heavy music and the goth/horror things and I enjoy them
dude my whole life i've been emo, and i've recently become a baby bat. i've always heard from people that i'm sad, and depressed, even got bullied by it, and that i need Jesus or whatever, which actually made me not want to be christian lol. when i started dressing completely the way i wanted, my family was not a fan (still isn't) and they literally tell me EVERY DAY that it's just a phase and that if they were me tHeY wOULdNT wAsTe THeiR bEAuTy and it's so fucking annoying. luckily i've never experienced being fetishized for dressing alternative, i've been catcalled for it tho and i'm still a minor :,)
Tengo 2 GRANDES razones para entrar a este video...
well spoken 🖤🦇
Bella Lougosi the ultimate Goth.
I think I'm still a baby bat
Now I wanna be a Goth.....Destructiv.
so ... i am goth, i listen to a lot of goth bands ..... but dress sense is not, but i am happy all over :)
I'm a Christian goth, new to it. I more listen to alt rock bands that traditional goth. Am I still goth? I've tried listening to the traditional goth music but can't get into it, everything else I love
I am goth but I'm also a Christian my church is very accepting but when I go to my grandmother's church I get very strange looks
Yes people can be ubfortubateky prehudice or judgem🎉ental eh i i love how you address this issue😂
you are a work of art
OMG I LOVE YOUR MAKEUP
thank you so much lovely! ❤️❤️
AS A GOTHIC THAT ENJOYS NORMAL PEOPLE STUFF......GOES THUR THIS BUT ALSO GET LOVE FOR IT SO THIS WHOLE VIDEO IS VAILD!!!!!!!!
I love your Beelzebub picture in the background!
Thank you so much!
Love the clothes make up jewelry. But not the music. I'm a metal person. But do admire you. Love watching your videos xx
