Deke Dickerson & The Whippersnappers singing “Here Kitty, Kitty.”

It’s hard to know where to begin talking about Deke Dickerson... If you know Americana music, then Mr. Dickerson already sits somewhere in your top bracket of west coast guitar virtuosos. Say the name “Deke” to any person with rolled-up jeans and it will be hard for them to stop talking about this man’s ability and accomplishments. While he takes his craft seriously, he certainly does not take himself seriously - at all. If for some reason his talent does not leave you in awe, his consummate humor and showmanship will definitely bring a smile to your face.
We are excited, privileged, and honored to welcome his latest band, “The Whippersnappers”. If you have been to Ebullition Brew Works before you will recognize the face of Zander Griffith formerly of the Rayford Bros., representing the next generation of Americana. Also on guitar is Burt Avalos, another familiar face in the Rock n’ Roll scene.

As always simply amazing. First saw Deke Dickerson in 1999 when he opened for Social Distortion. I had no idea who was but when he left the stage Mike Ness had his work cut out for him. Deke slayed. And fortunately so did Social D.
