Ron without a mustache is the scariest thing I have ever seen.
Danny DeVito it’s like a bear without its fur.
@@Kinpsychosis Yea its horrible
@@IamdefiantlynotTzeentchOramI it's like muscular Danny devito... OH GOD
Dont be afraid my friend, its simply out doing missions in Afghanistan

The relationship between Leslie and Ron is honestly quite a masterpiece. It's something original, for once a platonic relationship between a guy and a girl with no underlying sexual tension
I mean what about Liz Lemon and Jack Donaghy in 30 Rock?
@@sewpungyow5154 He's not maybe like 5 years 10 at most.
It is great. This is the actual representation we need.
Robin and marshal in how I met you’re mother wants to speak to you
Also they had completely different world view, and despite that they still were friends. Which is something I feel the world needs more of.
I’ll be honest. I fully expected Ron’s mustache to reappear after drinking that shine
If it'd appeared in the next shot with no explanation I would have accepted it without hesitation
that would have been such a hilarious detail
Absolutely I was so ready for that!!!
that isn't shine, that's skin remover I fully expected for Tammy 1 to collapse from the smell of Ron's breath afterwards.
@@bionmccool well being the demoness that she is, I sort of always expect the earth itself to do the collapsing. What with needing to swallow her whole.
I wish this had the scene where Leslie gave Ron the job at the National Park, would have been an awesome ending to this comp
That is "literally" the best scene that would have epitomized their friendship and its a travesty that it wasn't included.
That smile when he paddled the canoe 😭
I know, such a great moment that includes corruption and nepotism that people usually hate. 😍
@@mrodgt alright chris
@@FalonGrey tbf, Ron is the best possible candidate for the job and could have gotten it on his own. So it's not really nepotism because he also didn't ask for the job and Ron had arguably more power than Leslie considering how profitable his business was and that he was rich waaay before that anyways. She basically forced him into a job she knew he would love and would be best suited. Technically corruption, just in the same level that jaywalking is illegal.
it broke my heart when leslie stood ron up :((
Is the main reason I watch this video.. doesnt hurt to watch the first bits, tho :,

I cried at that scene
I don't remember this episode... Can someone tell me what season and episode this is from

My favourite theory is that Parks and Rec, The Office, and Brooklyn 99 are all in the same universe
Can't be.
Andy samberg is a park ranger in parks and rec.
@@user-dv9zz4nl5y He's under cover as a park ranger
@@zerogbot23 Andy is a post office manager, Oscar is a doctor, Meredith is a janitor and Ron is Holt's ex in Brooklyn 99.
Also, Karen is Ann in Parks
That'd be great but unfortunately no
Obviously none of you have watched American Horror Story
Actually CERN is investigating this theory at the moment
"One day I looked up... just didn't recognize anyone."
"So I made a decision."
it's enough to make a grown man cry
I've watched it so many times and i still want to cry
I have something in my eye...like a twig or something. 😭😭😭
"an unthinkable decision"
I felt Ron's sadness when he realized that, that wasn't a real claymore
When he said "And then... you took April" :*(
That episode made me sob :(
‘This ends now!’
*drinks entire bottle*
how do you like them apples due that just does nothing to him
What was in snake juice?
Yash Nanda seriously though. If Ron got piss drunk off the snake juice then his coworkers should have literally died of alcohol poisoning.
@@gamonize Snake juice was like 4 loko. Energy drink filled with Caffeine + Booze.
Interesting fact: When asked why he drank the bottle of moonshine like he did. Nick Offerman stated that is how you hold a bottle of moonshine when drinking directly from the bottle.
@@danielwalker26 Can't relate, I'm Asian, I get blacked after 4 drinks. The way he just chuggs it would have literally killed me.
The absolute disgust on Ron's face after that "Congratulations Ron! You've done an explosive job" LMAO
lol and Leslie's laugh kills me
I really cried when Leslie stood him up, he's too pure and she is also such a beautiful person
I couldn't stand the two of them fighting
I know! It tote me up watching it the first time! It still hurts rewatching it!
@@princessmarthajandio Hurts? Really? This word? In the context of the fictional show not life problems?
Ron is many things but he's not really "pure lmao
@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849 Well, yes. What's wrong with feeling hurt for Ron even if the character is fictional? And why jump to the conclusion that I don't care about real world problems? It's very presumptuous of you.
@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849 Fiction is designed to make you feel things. The funny parts are designed to make you laugh. The sad parts are designed to cause sadness. I don't know if you're just unaware of the concept, or purposely being a wet blanket draped over a stick in the mud.
Leslie keeps Pawnee in check. Ron keeps Leslie in check.
Ron's the hard check; Anne is the soft check.
I love how in the scene where Ron finds out that his claymore was a toy is so much better when he gave what he thought was a partially defused claymore to a child who told him government was bad
Printing out a blank paper.
Oh Leslie, probably the most adorable sulker ever.
This is probably the best friendship I've ever seen on TV.
Troy and Abed in the mooooorning
This is one of the best, but one shouldn't forget about Jake and Charles from Brooklyn 99, House and Wilson from House MD.
Tom and Donna
Tom313 most underrated friendships on this show tbh
Leslie and Ann!
4:15 is such a subtle moment, in season two Leslie forces Ron to wait an hour for him to sober up before he drives which Ron protests because of his unnaturally high alcohol tolerance. Now he's allowing Leslie to keep him safe by allowing her to drive- so sweet
“Why would I throw Ron Swanson, an Ann Perkins birthday?” This line is so sweet! Leslie knows her friends so well!
"It was a punctuation mark on a sentence that had already been written." I am in awe of the writer behind that gorgeous line.
I’ll never forget the heartbreak I felt when season 7 had Ron and Leslie on bad terms. And how much more my heart broke when we found out why; Ron got stood up by Leslie when he just wanted a job so he could be with them again 🥺
When he polished off the alchohol I was HOPING his mustache would have grown back
That doesn't happen. Mustaches don't rapidly appear in reality. But they can rapidly disappear... from friction.
it can rapidly appear in fiction and rapidly disappear from friction
Every 60 seconds in Africa, a minute passes.
“Let me buy you dinner.”
“No, I insist you buy me dinner.”
It really goes to show that Leslie is pretty high tolerance. April spat out the alcohol without swallowing while Leslie kept up with both Ron's mom and ex-wife for at least a few glasses.
There's something pure, gritty, and awesome about a man like Ron saying "I've had a good run here."
I really enjoy how Ron treats April and Andy like his children, it's so cute
One of the best friendships I have ever seen! Both were had contrasting personalities and beliefs but had mutual respect for one and other, always had each other's backs and gave amazing advices! Also when they put their heads to together, the results were always out of the park! 😊
Different personalities but similar values. When you care about someone, you support them: win, lose or draw 🥰
That last scene made me cry the first time I saw it. I HATED the start of S7 where they were both not on good terms with each other. I have a real fear of losing my memory and to see all the things like the 'Camel', the coffee machine and the bacon and eggs frame from past seasons really hit home as to how far this friendship has come. And if memory serves correct, that was the last scene shot of the series? Heavy stuff. That, and it introduced me to a wicked Willie Nelson tune (despite that questionable cover art)
Feels tbh
thats life sometimes
It's incomplete without the climax where Leslie got Ron the job at the national park and Ron took a canoe to explore the lake with Buddy playing in the background...
Or the Europe trip Leslie devised for Ron Swanson...
lmaooo at 3:10 after April tries and spits out the swanson family liquor out you can see her sitting on Andy's lap probably traumatized from it
That last scene is heartbreaking and so heartwarming at the same time.
When Ron looked up and didn’t know anyone in his work place, that hit hard cause we didn’t really think about it throughout the show that Ron was alone

"Everybody pants now!

"WE'RE SORRY"
*BRAAAAAP*
Andy laughing his ass off makes this even more perfect.
2:16 HAHAHA Amy Poehler is an acting genius lmao!
Ron and Leslie’s friendship is by far one of my favourite of all time, if not my favourite. I cried during “Leslie and Ron” after Ron admitted why he left, wanting to be with his friends.
2:44 "I'm Puerto Rican, I can handle it" ------> 3 seconds later...
Funny thing we make it stronger. Illegal also here.
Who came for Ron in yellow yoga clothing?
jouna lehtiö you almost made me spit my water everywhere.

Now Ron's kids can say they have a history of mental illness in their family
Ron’s only a year older than Leslie. Weird to think about given the fact that Ron is more or less a father figure to her
"It was an punctuation mark on a sentence that had already been written", is just...
5:03 lesslie's laugh is comedy gold xD
"Narvend close...Marvin the clones...Glenn Close"
"Then you took April"
Ron Swanson in yellow yoga clothes is everything 💛

A whole lot of people throughout the history and to this day?
@@steelbear2063 people who are immature kids.
You know that they're made up characters right?
@CrooK I am not a kid, but this is a random, light hearted comment on a UA-cam video of a comedy show, not a thesis. Sorry that didn't meet your standards.
This relationship is one of the best in television because there’s never ever any romantic tension between them despite Leslie being the protagonist and Ron a close second. To me that heightens their bond and it’s kind of a feminist triumph, that Leslie can experience a full range of successes and failures with her best workplace proximity Ron
did you just call this a “feminist triumph” LMFAO
They are like soulmates but platonic
"Feminist Triumph"
LOL That just made me spit my drink out. xD
Last scene made me cry, then it did put a smile on my face :)
Differences between Ron and Leslie is very evident @ 3.23 where she sees the councilman's chair as a symbol of power and he sees for what it is .... a chair
Ron's confession is my favourite scene in PandR
That "Thank You" for Ron's "party" still gets me to this day...
All I hear when I listen to that song is... Ryan started the fiyaah 🔥😂
Such a wonderfully written series
Brilliance in every frame
I love how April hurting herself with the shine was the last straw for Ron.
I love these two because they are diametrically opposed politically, but they are still friends.
Yeah 10 years ago that wasn’t rare. Now everyone needs to be surrounded by people who won’t disagree with them.
@@troystaunton254 Yeah, pretty sad
Leslie and Ron are the perfect foils to eachothers personalities. Could not ask for a better friendship in and out of the workplace.
"Why would I throw Ron Swanson an Ann Perkins party?"
3:13 if Ron had a full mustache back I would have questioned nothing
This show is gloriously wholesome. I miss it, but it ended perfectly.
I love the last scene! Wish I knew what episode it was from.
It's from season 7 episode 4 ; Leslie and Rom
If I can become 1/8 of the man Ron is I'll consider my life a success
Seems fairly simple???

never watched a single episode yet, just started watching videos from Parks and Recreation channel from this morning and oh boy did the last part made me emotional..... will start the show from tomorrow...
Comments got nuked lol
Is that what happened lol? I was so confused when I saw only three comments.
wait what happened
i really appreciated these two because there was little question on if these two respected each other. they did and there was actual care in their hearts. Ron, besides in his fight with Leslie towards the end of the series, never acted in malice against Leslie when his actions went against Leslie's wishes/ideals. they were still always friends despite being very different people, something that is hard to make truly believable on television let alone in the real world.
3:10 Look at everyone's faces !!! Never noticed how funny they were until now !!
It’s kinda funny that he never chugged the water, the magic of editing!
that’s vodka
Its Swansons distilled liquor
So many fantastic lines.
How do you forget about a dinner plan literally 10s after you make the plan. Especially someone like Leslie
it was the next day im pretty sure. ive forgotten stuff ive had to do after i slept for the night
@@aidsdoh8286 She aranges to fly to DC literally 10s after making the arangements for as soon as possible so she should know she cannot make the dinner. Therefor, could have told this to Ron who was in the elavator still after this convo had ended or texted him immediately
@@JCglitchmaster ah fair enough its been a while since i watched the episode
i think it shows how hectic leslies new job is and that gave ron a pretty solid blow
@@JCglitchmaster perhaps she thought she'd come back by next day in time for lunch but after going to DC something else must have come up and she forgot to tell Ron. It happens, Leslie would never be so cavalier about a lunch appointment with a friend as close as Ron.

I cried in the last episode. The best show I ever had the pleasure of watching.
I did not know they used the claymore in an episode lmao.
As a 27-year old with a mild case of Autism i gotta say.....I would have loved if someone throwed me a birthday like Ron's.
Same but change the 27 to 19
6:24 🥺 I remember this , he was alone. This was painful 😖 he wanted to be with his work family.
This damn show hit all the feels in the best way. I love the rewatch value but ultimately get a little down sometimes when I realize this greatness is in the past.
Don't be sad it's finished, be happy that it happened. One day, something will hit you out of the blue, it will destroy you, and as you sit there sniffling the snot out of your nose, and wipe the tears from your eyes, you will spy the case for a show you loved, dust off the sleeve, open it up and pop in a dvd. They will all be there for you to bring a smile to your face, so you can learn to be happy once more, it will take time, but you can be proud that everything that came together to make this show, can guide to you to a happier next day.
The whole fake claymore scene feels like a mom and her disappointed son.
when Ron downed the bottle i half expected his mustache to grow back.
Shh!!!!
Go to bed Jimmy!!!
That feeling when you look around and don't find a single friend, because you always tried to push everyone away. ☹️ I hope things improve someday, it hurts a lot.
Their relationship is one of, if not the best friendship goal ever.
I love that last honk. Pitch perfect
I was hoping Ron's mustache would spontaneously grow back when ron was done drinking the moonshine

These two are the definition of when an unstoppable force (Leslie) meets an unmovable object (Ron)
So I am about 2.5 seasons in this show, but it seems like Leslie matures a lot from the beginning to the end,
Leslie knows Ron so well!!
This really was the best written show ever made...

The "Leslie and Ron" episode gave me a catharsis. It was beautiful.
The most true statement i heard was Ron saying "people are stupid".
