Thank you SO MUCH Matchbox Resurrection!!! I owned the Police version for years that was one of my favorites (the lowering winch was brilliant!), yet when it came to trying to restore a different one today, I was flummoxed on how the two sides were secured together. Little did I realize that the "POLICE" labels on the right side concealed two screws!!!!!! And once I took it down, I was again appreciating how fiendishly brilliant Marcel Van Cleemput and the engineers / designers at Corgi were at coming up with non-stop entertaining toys that were actually just a few parts cleverly designed! Thanks so much for saving me from frustration and wasted time, and from inadvertently breaking this model!
Like your laid back style and your projects. It makes me happy to watch your work and your creative solutions. It seems that there is no reason to worry. Thank you!
Holly choppers Batman a giant just pulled our Bat copter to bits and put it back together again. Excellent job Juan I remember in the Batman movie Batman hanging onto a ladder for dear life with a shark biting his leg. They don't make movies like that anymore thank goodness lol. I hope I'm able to watch your Q and A session live do you know what time you are going to do it yet? Then I can work out what time it will be in Australia.👍
Hello Juan I love watching your creations come to life. I hope that when you do your Q&A videos you answer them while face to face same as Marty Matchbox Make overs. Looking forward to seeing then. Thanks
Love it!....the Batman figure inside seems to be modelled on the Adam West batman costume, but is coloured in the same way as some of the mid 70s Batman comics, although in those, they also sometimes showed him wearing the traditional blue and grey sometimes on the same page as blue and black, lol. I guess it was something to do with how they printed colour comics back then.
Batman is ready to buzz around Gotham and catch bad guys! I Love it! First time ever seeing a copter being restored! As always, premo job! Love the hook! I have a question for your Q & A, "Why did you get into this great hobby?"
Cheers Bob, I've got a Corgi Batmobile ready for restoration as well. I'll have to re-watch your vids to have an idea of what I'm playing with....Cheers pal
¡Recórcholis, Batman! ¡Wow! Great job, as always, I would've loved to have that toy when I was a kid. For your Q&A video, let me ask you: Is there a casting you really want to restore? Which one? And another question: How many pieces do you have in your collection? Greetings, Juan, I really enjoy your channel, keep on your great resto job 👍
Hi Juan, nice change of pace. Batcopter turned out well. Regarding questions for next week, 1. What part of Spain are you from? 2. What was/were your favourite Matchbox model(s), both as a kid and now? 3. What led you to make England your new home? How long have you lived there? What do you like about it? What do you dislike about it? 4. How long have you been a professional chef, and what is your cuisine focus or specialty? 5. What kind of gifts/donations would help the channel most? 6. Do you plan on making changes to the channel? Well, that's it for now. If I think of something else, I'll come back and make another entry. Until next week!
Juan- question for you for next weekend- What is your favorite project to date? Oh, and by the way you always seem to have pretty cool t-shirts. Never saw anyone restore a helicopter before. Nice job.
To the Batcopter! Great work as always Juan. My question for next week: Where do you originally come from? I find your accent and tone of voice in the narration quite pleasant to listen to.
Hi Ian. The paint striper is a cheap one from Wilkos. Usually takes about an hour but really depends on the paint. The paint on the old castings could be very stubborn.... Cheers bud
It's called "Pledge" it's a floor varnish and it's just a weak acrylic varnish. It's hard to find and it's quite expensive. Here's a link to ebay if that helps. Thanks www.ebay.co.uk/itm/394248003019?mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338723872&toolid=20006&customid=iMoI540UAAAAgGRURmAJtI0feKorAAAAAA
16:06 (and elsewhere) good to see the co-ordinated T shirt

Glad you are having fun with your toys. All the best buddy !!
💘 the splash sound effects!!
As much as I love mangling new castings, it's always fun to learn more about restorations. Especially while chilling with you.
Thanks Eric. Sometimes is nice to look back to old castings and find out how they used to build them when life was more simple...
I love it how you're expanding your horizons when you come into the States
Thanks Tony. When I win the lottery I'd love to go from coast to coast.....
Like your laid back style and your projects. It makes me happy to watch your work and your creative solutions. It seems that there is no reason to worry. Thank you!
Thanks a lot Hansa for your kind words

It won't be a live video as I don't have the time to be live. That's what I need your questions now so I can do like a 10/20 mins long. Thanks Geoff
@@MatchboxResurrection Ok cool.

I guess so... I decided to go with the traditional costume to be on the safe side

Always look forward to seeing your work Juan. Do you also make the plastic Airfix kits, dioramas ?
Cheers Stuart. I used to do a lot of 1/35 scale modeling and dioramas when I was younger. Some of them were Airfix
Juan- question for you for next weekend- What is your favorite project to date? Oh, and by the way you always seem to have pretty cool t-shirts. Never saw anyone restore a helicopter before. Nice job.
I've never seen one before either and to be honest I was a bit worried of what I was gonna find inside lol. Thanks for your question mate
Great job on the Bat Copter. My question is: do you have any other hobbies and if so what?
Thanks Weston and thanks for your question too
To the Batcopter! Great work as always Juan. My question for next week: Where do you originally come from? I find your accent and tone of voice in the narration quite pleasant to listen to.
Thanks mate and thanks for the question
Hi Juan, The Batcopter came out really well. So here is my question...what kind of car do you drive, if at all, in real life.
Thanks Terry and thanks for your question..
You don't disappoint, I like that 😁
So how big is your collection?
Thanks mate and thanks for your question
Excellent job Juan. Can I ask what paint stripper you use and is it fast acting? Many thanks.
Hi Ian. The paint striper is a cheap one from Wilkos. Usually takes about an hour but really depends on the paint. The paint on the old castings could be very stubborn.... Cheers bud
Couple questions. 1. How did you get into this hobby? 2. What made you get into your career choice? 3. What is your favorite thing about both?
Thanks for your questions Jason
You were worried about keeping a crappy piece of original string but then you repainted Batman. You crazy man, make up your mind.
Lol Cheers John
Looks like you had to fabricate a few parts on this one..
Yep
Question..How many Tee shirts do you have? 😃
Lol Cheers mate
What did you dip the cotpit in
