The more I hear Kid Rock, the more I love this guy. Freedom is so precious, and we are so close to losing it. My Momma and Daddy lived through war and poverty, and they passed down their patriotism and love of Country; but the kids today have been sheltered from all of this, and they don't know what it is like out their. This country is not perfect, but it is still the best out there and we MUST keep it that way.
My mother died in 2003 at age 82. She was German and was in the Army during WW2. She told me before she died that she didn't recognize the USA at all anymore. I agreed. She said she could see the winds of war blowing up again just like before WW2 started. And here we are!!! She'd been through it already. My mother was enormously intelligent.
Six months before my Dad, USN WW2, Korea, died he said, "The next Big war will be fought on our soil. It won't happen in my lifetime but it will happen in yours". He died six months later in 2009. Dad was always right about everything. 😥
@@user-ii4zf5iq3t My father was Navy Seabees in WWII and Air Force in the Korean War. After he left active duty , he enlisted in the Air National Guard Reserve. I'm so glad he's not here to see this country he fought to protect .
Kid Rock is actually very talented. He plays drums, guitar, piano, writes music, and he can sing without autotune. If you get a chance listen to "Let's Ride" a very patriotic song. I think you'll enjoy it.
His speech and values are from Detroit Michigan where he was born.. He's not liked by all but loved by many.. Multi generational music legend included with rap..rock .soul..country and yes blues too..
I was lucky enough to see him in concert this last weekend. He hit every album hit or favorite and played every instrument he knows how to including the original Kid Rockin turn table. He is amazingly talented. And the show he gave was 110% of himself just hanging out in a cow field in Ocala Florida ❤
Right On! I've been able to see him a few times, Always an amazing show. He gives his all and seems to always be having a great time. He really connects with the audience and makes you feel like you're hanging out with 10 thousand friends. ❤
I feel what you mean. I used to love them until he got political and started bashing every buddy that wasn't a Trump supporter. He was even bashing Republicans for not supporting Trump.
I saw him in Virginia Beach. Lynyrd Skynyrd opened for him. Best concert ever. He played for like an hour and a half at least. The ocean breeze was just the icing on the cake.
My Dad passed away from throat cancer in August 2011. He was an old school country/southern rock guy. As a matter of fact, he partied with Charlie Daniels at a rest stop in 1980! But my point with this song is that he use to listen to this song every day. It was on his 3 song rotation along with Heart of Gold by Neil Young and People Are Crazy by Billy Currington.
This Video and all its amazing beauty was filmed in my home state of Michigan. Miners Beach has some of the finest scenic views of Lake Superiors shore line and is a part of the Lake Superior pictured rocks National park , if you think it’s beautiful here, you should see it in person. Breathtaking!!!
Kid Rock, from my home state! Love him! That video was filmed in Michigan's beautiful upper peninsula!! I love his song Rollercoaster, you should listen if you haven't.
Shout out to all the men and women in the military, all the Veterans and the beautiful souls who are no longer with us! Thank you for allowing us to be born free. God bless you and your families.
Filmed in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where I live. Only 5% of the U.P. is inhabited, and we have 300,000 people basically scattered in the woods. My families were miners up here in the early 1930s and have been here ever since. Moved here 20 years ago to take care of my Dad, who had moved home after retiring. He passed many years ago, but I will never go back to Minneapolis. This is home, and I just had a bear walk through the backyard 2 days ago. People here want to be left alone in this beautiful wildness.
That was a beautiful song...I loved your reaction to this...and I agree with your line up of his song you've reacted to! I'm enjoying this musical journey you are taking us on ..thank you!❤
We Michiganders (those of us from Michigan) are proud to call him one of our own. He is from Detroit. I don't know his actual birth name - don't really need to. I was fortunate to see him once in concert as a support act. Was just as (I Wanna be a) Cowboy Baby was breaking big.
I love this song, one of my favorites. Maybe because I was born in Michigan. And some of the best music ever came out of the state. The scenery in this video is gorgeous,
Great songs similar this, to check out. Brooks and Dunn- Only in America. Zac Brown Band- Free And maybe Hank jr.- Why can't we all just get along-neck. All worth checking out
Live by Kid Rocks house here in Michigan. Please play All Summer Long. It’s a great summer song, and all the video is in our beautiful state of Michigan.
Kid Rock is one of the most influential artists of the last 30 years! And I’m 62 and have been an avid collector and connoisseur of music since about 1970! I have over 6,000 albums and have heard them all. He could be my little brother from another mother. 😂
I was a team truck driver. And I got to see so much beauty. And how I appreciated being raise as farm girl cutting hay to pulling calves It was awesome
Honestly P. you can't go wrong with ANY Kid Rock that you put on, it's all fire one or multiple ways!!! But, if you want to hear something that you yourself can relate and vibe to on a deeply personal level you absolutely need to check out "Amen" & "Care". I'm certain you won't be disappointed!!!
Born Free and hell bent dying that way. The crazier this country gets the more stubborn and set in the old ways I get. This is one of my all time favorites and for sure an all time favorite blasting it while my knees and hair are in the wind while I ride my Harley in no particular direction, with no set destination on 2 lane roads enjoying our beautiful country. I’m smack dab in the middle of the country and it’s not uncommon for me to end up 4 or more states away on a weekend ride.. I’m gen x and I can remember my grandpa say in the mid to late 80’s the people done lost their damn minds and this country has gone to hell. Although I miss him dearly I’m glad he doesn’t have to see the clown show we live in today. Being gen X, I was I was raised tough and my grandpa and step dad taught me how to be responsible and self sufficient, but I didn’t really understand until high school and could start to see how the federal government was using the department of education to program children.. I narrowly missed the time out, everyone gets a trophy and drugging children into zombies.. I Remember telling my grandpa and step dad all the BS wasn’t going to turn out so good and the smiles I received because they knew I got it. Been preaching the government acquired its most effective weapon in 1979 since. It dumbfounds me how many people are unable to connect the dots.. 2 of the most true things I’ve ever heard, the most effective way to control, rule people is own their minds when they are young and influential and control the food.. Here we are..
I admire your sense of PATRIOTISM. Maybe you were a FLAG Bearer in another time. Hum? Great song and review. The new studio is looking good. How is Baby and the tribe?✌
It's crazy to think that he started off as a rapper with uncle Kracker as his DJ and not they are both rock/Southern rock singers. That's quite an evolution
I agree. I used to travel for a living, and you can see and tell the difference in people in every state. Some good, some bad. I spent months in NY, and when I got back down to the south, I saw how much I missed the south. You see how much you miss what you have when you're gone as well.

If you are born in Michigan's upper peninsula (U.P.), you are a "Yooper" (like the initials sound.) I'm a born - and raised - Yooper. Those spectacular shots of a beautiful shoreline? Any Yooper recognizes the southern shores of Lake Superior. There's a reason he has some of that scenery in this video, even though he had to travel a loooong way to get there. Lake Superior - and the U.P. - are a stupendously beautiful, and sparsely populated area of Michigan. I may not agree with a *lot* of Kid Rock's political views, but he sure can recognize one of the most beautiful areas in the world.
