Tim has inspired my life in so many ways. Because of his influence, I had the courage to serve and help children with life threatening illnesses. I never thought my heart could handle it, but with God's strength, I did it. It has forever changed my heart, my spirit, my mind and my life. I will never be the same. God is using Tim Tebow in such a mighty way to impact the lives of others. I'm living proof. JESUS IS LORD.

In acts like this there should not be a discussion of faith, football or personal opinion about Tim Tebow or anyone for that matter. This this just shows raw kindness and what humanity should mimic and I applaud Tim Tebow for taking the time out of his day to make someone else's lifetime better.
Tim, you are a great roll model, plus you are a great example of what it means to be the salt and light of this world. My son looks up to you no matter where you choose to go. We will alway follow you and pray you will make the right choice, where ever that might be. Let your light shine among men so that your Heavenly Father will get the glory.

There are plenty of life-threatening illnesses that don't mean you will die soon and often include invisible pain and suffering. She could have very easily been smiling through some real pain here.

I went to school with this girl, shes really sweet and friendly. One day she just disappeared for like a whole year. Then a few days ago i read about her troubles and saw all these things and i have a new respect for Tebow not even being a football person. people need to look past their petty sports grudges and see the good people can do

For anyone who disliked this video has no heart. This girl is battling an illness that can kill her. Tim is being very sweet and giving her a lot of opportunities that she probably thought she'd never have. Rather you are a Christian or not, that shouldn't give you a reason to hate Tim. He's doing something that most celebs wouldn't do on a daily basis. People always complain how they want people to be nice, compassionate, loving, and accepting of who they are. Well... there you go. Tim has been able to master all of that. He does it because he wants to be more like Christ and show people what a real Christian is.
Tim please come back to the NFL I loved the way u played. I love that u r one of the few that shows your Christian beliefs.

I couldn't care less about football, but I love Tim Tebow. He is the kind of person we should all strive to be, whether you factor in religion or not. He is a decent, kind, caring human being.
Tim Tebow may be a mediocre NFL quarterback, but that matters little when compared to how magnanimous of a man he is. I hope he gains more success in the NFL, but I think his philanthropic pursuits are infinitely more honorable than a football career.

I knew me sharing my thoughts on this would be an issue for everyone that read what I posted. I am not saying that she doesn't have the illness all I am saying is I know what it is like to be in severe pain every day and night of my life. I am not being mean crude or rude and like I said before I apologize if my post offended any one. And I do have kids of my own I have four of them. I have bulging disc and dergenative disc disease and the pain gets worse and worse and worse. I personally do not smile from ear to ear when I can't even function because of my back pain. I thought this was a place that you could post your own personal comments but I noticed youtubers easily back lash at what they post even for little things
Hey Nicole, I am the girl in this video. I'm not offended or hurt by your opinion on my health status during this video. But I will tell you I cried myself to sleep almost every night while I was on this trip because I overdid myself each day. I smile through pain every single day because even though I am hurting, I'm wanting to give up, I know I can touch people's lives with my story and my testimony. I looked up here diagnoses and for having this disease she does not seem to be that ill when this is filmed. Now I am not saying that she doesn't have this disease all I am saying is that she appears to seem quite well when this is filmed. Nicole, I have 2 forms of EDS, from the outside I look normal, but I have to wear braces on my hands and feet to be able to function normally as my fingers, toes and wrists dislocate. I am in constant pain as the collagen in my body breaks down and my joints spread out progressively. I cant even hold a gallon of milk in my hands or walk more than 30 mins and my husband and kids have to help me get dressed at times. I had a hysterectomy at age 35 because my reproductive organs were falling apart. My jaw is constantly dislocated and I am on my 3rd jaw surgery in 6 months. Some people with type 4 EDS actually die when their internal organs rupture due to collagen deficiency. Life expectancy for EDS type 4 is between 40-50, I am 42. Please know your facts before you spout your opinions, regardless if you are "entitled" to it. Your opinion did not anger me, its pretty typical actually and we EDS zebras are used to it.
Nicole, I would be inclined to keep my thoughts to myself if I knew as little about medicine as your comment suggests. You have a right to raise the issue, but the way you phrased your comment makes you appear unsympathetic, at best, and skeptical (meaning you're calling her a liar) at worst. When you wrote "I am simply sharing my personal opinion which I am fully entitled to make" that phrase will hit a lot of people as unnecessarily defensive or combative. You would have done better to leave out that phrase entirely. Just sayin' ...
1. A lot of diseases are progressive, meaning that they get worse over time. The video didn't indicate how advanced her condition is.
2. Some diseases have cycles (MS comes to mind) where they get worse for a while, then better for a while, then worse again. Maybe this is one of them and she was in a temporary remission. Or not. Neither of us knows.
3. You were watching a heavily edited video, showing you a few minutes of her life over a few days. For all any of us know, she has times every day when she is writhing in pain, but it isn't 24x7. If so, they edited those parts out, as a way of respecting her privacy.
