Well done for keeping it within the speed limits. I would have floored it and blurred out the speedo. But, I haven't yet got one of these but it's on the radar. :)
Nice spec same as mine, except for the alloys (I think the older ones look better) , I think in time yours would sound more aggressive when you put the mileage on it, we are from the same area too,
Yudi yeah sorry, I should’ve said. Mine is a 2019 model with 13.5k miles on the clock. The 98 octane fuel seems to make a difference over the standard 95, too. (Plus engine temperature, EGT, drive mode, etc.)
@@BD866 Thanks for the response Tom! That's some good news. Looking into it as there's not too many used 2018 S3s with the options I would like. Ideally I'd find a 2018 with the options I want, then I'll have the sound too!
Yudi awesome choice, mate. I hope you find the right car for you. I can fully recommend the technology pack and comfort & sound pack. I didn’t go for the ‘Black Edition’ as I wasn’t keen on the alloys. I’ve also heard that the 19” wheels with ‘magnetic drive’ can be a bit harsh. As one friend put it, “you can tell the gender of an ant by driving over it”. Whatever you go for though, you won’t regret it. I still get the ‘fart’ and ‘popping’ noise at higher ends of RPM, notably during gear changes, if that’s what you’re interested in (despite some people on here saying the post-2018 models don’t have this characteristic). Enjoy!
Wicked sleeper car and if not for the RS3, probably the fastest hatchback on real roads. But the interior is so minimalist and the car itself is just too dull, is VERY fast no doubt but it’s a bit boring and has no involvement. Which is why I had to get rid of this and am thinking of an M140i or even a Golf GTI over this.
@@Chair991 Nah MK7.5 Golf GTI / R interior is so much better than the Audi’s. Cabin of the Audi feels more sport focused but the Golf’s interior is much nicer imo
@@Chair991 and speed isn’t always a factor of having fun. GTI is a much more involving driving experience than the S3. S3 felt quite boring and not playful. If you really want fun, take a Civic Type R over both
@@bmf5420 The Golfs interior is extremely bland compared to the Audi, but sure lmao. Also, the GTI might be more involving but it sure as hell isn't more fun. If you want a fun involving car the, get a mx5 or an 86, not a fucking GTI.
What a beautiful car, hopefully one day I’ll get an S3!
Can pick one up for well under 20g’s these days
Did u get one
I really love the s3 it's my favourite car but I'm to young to drive 🤣
Naughty motor but the wltp emissions thing has killed how it sounds
Fr my Hoover sounds better but love this car

I agree - mine's got approx. 13,000 miles on the clock now and sounds much nicer, even in non-dynamic modes.
Tom Riley even 2019 S3 sounds decent after some miles?

Alloys don’t suit the car

Sunny Singh if your concern is interior why would you get a golf they are worse.. this is from personal experience bro
Interior is 100% better than both the M140i and a golf... Also, a GTI is slow af so gl having fun in it.

Sounds like a Toyota
Is it supposed to sound like a roaring v12 engine ? This is a 4 cylinder turbo you do realize that right ?
