It's January 21, 2022. This world has been through a hell of a lot in the past two years. If you want to take your mind off of everything and watch something heart warming and heart wrenching, watch A Walk To Remember. Years and years ago, I was an avid Nicholas Sparks reader. I never got around to reading A Walk To Remember. I'm so glad I chose to watch the movie tonight.

I've watched this movie, just recently, it came out in 2002, and just watched it in 2024, no idea such a movie existed before. I read a lot of commentaries and reviews about the movie, some liked it, while some didn't for different reasons, but, for me, I liked it, the two main characters have a lot of chemistry together which makes this movie special.
I still listen to this song and every time it makes me want to fall in love again even though I gave up on love a long long time ago.
This isn’t the actual music video, Mandy shot one with Shane west, and it’s more of a view of Landon’s life after her death and how he often reminisces of her and sees her in the sky. It’s such a cute but sad video.

This movie became a massive phenomenon and catapulted stardom for Shane West and Mandy Moore! They graced the role with great aplomb. On top of it, subsequently the popularity snowball to the soundtracks - propelling carreer of the artists in which songs being featured throughout the movie too! Rarely a preteen movie were given such accolades. I think Nicholas Sparks' novel and the brilliant direction were also giving such a lovely tone and 'feel'. It was magic! I am lucky to see it in theater and love the storyline so much.
