I live in the great liberal state of NY where we have emission inspections, so I left the tube attached to my factory airbox, plugged it off at the oil filler location and let it sit in there under the engine cover to appear functional from the outside👍 I then put the Spectre filter on the 45 degree tube, and hose clamped it. All the part numbers listed worked, I have a ‘18 Ram with the 5.7

I got the Circle D 3K 11" HP series stall and I'm not happy with it. When I drop it in gear there's already drag on it like a stock one, if I let off the brakes it starts surging forward like a 3K stall should not. When I decelerate it surges, and I can't stall it out over 2500 rpm without breaking the tires loose while holding the brakes hard. I went with it because I was told the 258mm one had worse surging/driveabliliy issues. So if you do go with them I'd get an higher stall than you think you need to hopefully get closer to the stall rpm you're really after. TunedRams just got his Edge racing 3k converter so maybe see what he thinks after his install and compare to my Circle D results if you haven't already decided.

Too much crankcase pressure will blow that right off. And this way might also cause airflow sensor issues. On my truck I ran a UPR catch can setup in place of this along with a UPR Crankcase one way valve breather to replace my engine oil cap.
