After Smoking for Years, Charley was Diagnosed with Lung Cancer

- Charley and his wife, Mary, imagined the worst when Charley was diagnosed with lung cancer. However, they were put at ease upon meeting Dr. Kurt Wehberg of Beebe's Center for Robotic Surgery. He explained that Beebe has the latest in robotic surgery technology - the da Vinci Xi - which he would use to operate on Charley and remove one-third of the lung.
Charley went in for surgery on a Thursday and was in the car, headed for home, by lunch on Friday.

Smoke never belongs in our lungs. So glad I don't smoke or hang around anyone smoking. Bad unhealthy habit to do.
I smoked for 50 years and had a stroke almost die and I was lucky to recover i quit on the spot it was a matter of life and death !

One of my old friends forbid his mother from smoking in his house. She said that meant she wasn’t welcome. He told her times have changed and it wasn’t an unreasonable request. She refused to come over and he wouldn’t allow his kids to be in her house breathing all the secondhand smoke. Therefore, she never knew her grandchildren. Several years later while dying from COPD, she expressed deep regret on her death bed.

My older brother passed away in 6_ 18 _21 he was 76 he smoked all his life what I find astonishing is that he was never in the hospital for any kind of illness when he did go to the hospital he found out he had lung cancer two weeks later he passed away

I have never smoked in my life but I'm currently at risk of always inhaling cigarette smoke from my boss riding with him to work and back. My problem is I can't afford to lose the job because of my status in Canada and I'm looking for help on how I can detox my lungs every day. THANKS
Been smoking years and years and am so young,i quit now,i made a life time decision,at first i was smoking in my dreams but now am cool...u should put God first in Jesus name,u can be around anyone who smoke but you will never smoke..same goes to me i will never ever smoke..may God bless you bro.

It's been common knowledge since the early 60s that smoking causes a whole host of problems. People should know better. I have no sympathy for anyone who smokes, knowing what we know today.
