    What a super video!
That's the church where I learned to ring (on the 6th bell I believe).
The tower captain (Peter) would shout at me 'Thurtle, don't you dare break that stay'. I'm sure that's the reason I find it hard to set a bell sometimes (I can still hear Peter yelling at me).
I've rung the tenor up twice (while I was waiting for Peter to arrive). He told me the last person to do single-handed was someone from the BBC.
At 8:42 Dorothy Knight's name is mentioned: she was the tower captain the last time that I rang there. She was a lovely lady.

They are lovely! Very underrated and if the internal acoustics were worked on and played about with, and the minor odd-struckness fixed, they'd easily top most other rings in this part of the country I think!

Grandsire Doubles 1-5(6) & 7-11(12) is always lovely on these Bells! 😊

Never thought about doing that! I think after 8 days and nearing 50 towers, our brains may have just exploded if we attempted that. Did you see you got your feature at 8:43?!

It's scary how much they sound like Guildford Cathedral

But better I think! Certainly the tower suits the bells better than at Guildford!
