- www.jordanouts... We booked our boat trip excursion to the remote island of Klein, Curacao through MermaidBoatTrips.com. It's a 2 hour boat ride. It includes breakfast and a BBQ lunch. The beaches and snorkeling were amazing! There is also an old lighthouse and some shipwrecks to explore. This is a must do excursion!
Beautiful little island. Clear beaches. Tons of fish 💕
Thanks Julie 😃
Snakes too 😮
Thank you very much!
Thanks Guillermo, I appreciate the feedback 😃
If you book with Miss Ann Boat Tours, it only takes an hour to get out there, and about 30-45 minutes back.
Good to know. We booked the other excursion for the bathrooms on the island and the food. Did you have a bathroom to use?
@@JordanOutside Just as an FYI many excursions have access to the bathrooms and the food
@@heatherjohnson6328 Thank you, I didn't know that. 😃
So nice to see you started a UA-cam channel! You randomly popped up on my feed while searching for Curacao videos and I said to myself "I know him!" haha. I used to follow you on TikTok but I decided to close that account. Excited to follow your adventures and travel tips on here. We're planning a short getaway to Curacao next spring! I will look into this excursion, looks amazing!
Hi Paula, so awesome to connect on UA-cam. You're going to love Curacao! This excursion to Klein is a must. I've got all my videos on UA-cam, but if you want more in depth info, you can check out my blog too at www.jordanoutside.com/curacao
@@JordanOutside THANKS!!!
Curacao is beautiful, one of my favorite vacation spots. Great snorkeling, which is my favorite vacation activity, but also some other great activities. The hike up Mt. Cristoffel is something I recommend if you're into hiking, but do it as early in the day as possible. It's not too long of a hike, and you can say you were on the highest point in the country. Natural Born Hikers has a nice video of the trail on their website. The area around St. Anna Bay in Willemstad is beautiful. I think it's a UNESCO world heritage site. My husband and I aren't usually excited about going to museums on vacation, but we really liked the Kura Hulanda museum (about 30% artifacts from the middle east from thousands of year ago, 30% African art, 30% about slavery as the Dutch controlled about 1/3 of the slave trade, and 10% a rotating exhibit), the old Jewish synagogue, and the Tula house museum (a plantation house from a couple of centuries ago, gives you an idea of what it was like to live on Curacao long ago). We also saw Nena Sanchez's gallery near Willibrodus (if I remember correctly) and the ostrich farm. I suggest renting a car so that you can see a lot of the island.
Our first trip to Curacao was only 4 days long. We went back 3 more times, always for a week. I predict that once you've been to Curacao, you'll want to go back.
@@mariashaffer-gordon3561 Awesome tips. We'll have to do those on our next trip back.
Going to Klein Curacao was something that my husband and I haven't done in Curacao, especially since it takes a couple of hours to get there. It looks lovely, and maybe next time we'll have to consider doing an excursion there. All of your photography was lovely, and as always, I'm impressed with your underwater photography skills. Well done!
Thanks Maria! If you go back this is a must do. This island was so beautiful and fun to explore.
Amazing job!tks for the details!
Thank you 😃
Excellent video, a beautiful place ...
Thank you 😃
Amazing! Were there any kids? I was thinking of bringing mine while we're there next month.
Yes, there were kids there too. You'll have a great time. Make sure you bring some mosquito spray. We went after it had rained a lot and used our mosquito spray.
Thank you for the videos. They are playing heavily into our planning for our sping break trip to Curacao. Question - I see a lot of comments about the the rough ride to Klein Curacao. How bad was it on this relatively large boat?
Thanks for the kind feedback. You're going to love your trip. We had a storm go by us and we were both fine. The boat is large enough that we didn't get sea sick. With that said, everyone is different, but for us it was fine. I guess it would depend on how big the waves are, but if it was too rough they would probably reschedule the excursion.
can you recommend good snorkeling gear? ive been watching all your curaçao videos and need some. tyia
Yes, I have an Amazon review on the mask that I use that I absolutely love. I still need to do a review on the fins that I use, which are the brand SeaDart by Oceanways www.amazon.com/shop/jordanoutside
Was it a full breakfast?
They serve breakfast on the island after the boat ride there. They served us breakfast sandwiches with cheese, cucumbers, and tomatoes, rolls, and drinks. Not what you would traditionally expect for breakfast, but it was still good. The BBQ lunch was delicious. Hope that helps 😃
