Great to see how you got the job done Dan ✅ A perfect graffiti paint job and as you have said earlier in the build, it’s easy to patch in later if needed.
Clearly there was some effort taken in the preparation work before getting out the rattle cans out, but heck that looks fun 😎👍

Hardly the most perfect paintjob but it is a nice daily driver job that can be repaired very easily and cheaply if needed. It did take rather a lot of time in prep as I wanted to try and get it as good as possible. Thank you for the comment.

I'm doing exactly this on my Scimitar Coupe, using Kobra Aerosols from Graff City - Great price, product and service! (Just a customer, not sponsored in any way) This paint gives a semi matte finish, but if you put plenty on, sand and buff it comes up to a good gloss. I'm going to seal it with that expensive 2k clearcoat but that seems to go a long way so I reckon total costs about £200. It may not stand close examination by an expert but I like doing things myself and learning from it.
Awesome bud, I have a friend who has a channel on here that has done a similar thing to his T5 and it looks great!
i will give you a suggestion to keep the paint look like day one . Gyeon Cure Matte. one of the easiest coating on the market

Looks great - how has it weathered since? I used Montana to paint my rear hinges after I vinyl wrapped my T5 and ended up using it paint the inside of the rear doors and so far it looks so good I’m tempted to spray the roof with it as the it will be a nightmare wrapping the roof singlehanded! 😖
Does this paint need any kind of lacquer or protective clear coat over the top?

Thank you so much for watching and for the comment Alexander. It made a massive improvement on what it looked like before! Yes the temperature would affect it definitely. I did it in the middle of the hot summer. I wouldn't attempt to do it now unless it was in a heated workshop.
Looks effortlessly smooth, super curious to how durable such an un-lacquered, flat colour stands the elements. Easy freshened up tho I suppose 👌🏼
I've seen graffitied vans that have lasted years, presuming they have no laquer.

That is impressive coverage from a colour coat.
I had assumed it was grey primer, which is porous and therefore must be covered.
If Montana Gold is intended for graffiti artists, have you checked it's suitability for use as a final stage over steel?
I've had good results in past using Wilko exterior gloss mixed 3:1 with clear gloss varnish, thinned as necessary with white spirit and applied with radiator rollers.
I’ve used graffiti paint to paint all sorts of things, it pretty much sticks to anything as long as it’s prepped ok. Remember it’s designed to spray onto any exterior surface for a graffiti artist!
Thank you so much for watching! It is great paint, I have several friends that have used it on their vehicles and it last's pretty well as long as the surface is prep'd. Grafitti paint is designed to stick to un prep'd surfaces too.

Dan Chambers I’ve painted loads of furniture with it and bike parts too. It’s really cheap and the nozzles don’t spit - graffiti artists need smooth flowing paints at consistent rates so a lot of effort goes into producing exactly that. I have read once that they don’t really make any profit on the graffiti paint as they want to sell it as cheap as possible to artists. Being as it’s half the price of any other spray paint I can believe it. I would love to do my car in it.
@@DanChambersDAC My concern wasn't about whether it sticks, more if it is porous or not. If it was porous like grey primer, it would encourage rust to start underneath.
Your previous experience suggests it is fine though.

Probably 7 primer it'll take 12 paint though I bet
Maybe 5 as it looks like 1 heavy coat
