Loved the style of the marathon, so many other events feel so corporate nowadays. The tomfoolery throughout was very enjoyable, the ending was a perfect cap
On my current playthrough im 9hours 54mins in and just taken control of the highwind... man, this is fast! Shame about the guy banging on for an hour or so, skipped past him as interested in what the speedrunner has to say.
I typically find donation readers a minor annoyance when trying to enjoy runs and commentary in marathons because I know that's the main goal, this guy, however, what an overwhelming tool. Nobody will donate if they don't watch.
I can't rig Game over and even on the PS4 version with 3x speed infinite HP I still won't FIGHT Carry armor even AT LV 60 with 9999 999 MP Unless you Knights of the round it AND EVER OTHER boss to death with it so my save file even THEN still took me 12 to 13 hours INCLUDING using KoTR ON BOTH Emerald/Ruby weapon ON DISC 2.
What the hell is this? You COMMENT on so many OBSCURE ff7 SPEEDRUN VIDEOS talking LIKE THIS and saying i wont EVER do x, y or z UNTIL AT LEAST level 55 with 9999HP and KOTR. If it's a joke, it needs some work. If it's not a joke... you have single handedly lowered my opinion of humanity.
Red Xiii has a limit named Howling moon, why would he be a cat? 😂. Also the planet the game takes place on is Earth. You can see this during Sephiroth's Super Nova summon.
The developers expand on this in interviews across the years, Red XIII isn't based on any one particular animal, but if one does come close, it would be a catlike creature. Over the early years, the franchise wanted to bounce between a few different mascots, and Red is sort of an amalgamation of all of them.
@@superbaas8822 if i make a creature that looks like a giraffe and claim it's based on an elephant the creature STILL is based on a giraffe even tho i as a creator thought it was based on an elephant. Red is far more canine than feline regardless of what the devs say. It's just empirically true.

I'm with you. That guy is just straight up annoying, skipped past it after 15 minutes of his garbage voice and dumb quest.
