We did the exact same thing with our travel trailer. Then we took them and put them in the 5 th wheel. Ours are Thomas Payne’s too. Our Jack knife couch is in our basement. So when we sell the 5th wheel, these couches will stay with us. We can use them in our home as well if we don’t get another RV or don’t fit. So with the investment. Enjoy.
Nice! We have furniture from RecPro on its way too and I think it’s the same fabric style and color you guys went with. Now I know how to put it together lol Video coming soon as well.
I keep debating whether or not I should scrap the dinette for something like these chairs but when it rains I like working at the table. I'll check out there website to see what they have. Nice video.
Thanks! We originally had a big u-shaped dinette but it took up too much space. We tried an IKEA dining table but didn't love it. We now have the RecPro dinette booth seats but Brian made a more narrow table to help everything fit just like we want it. It really takes time to figure this all out, doesn't it?
Sweet chairs, Easy peasy. We are not sure what we are going to do. Right now the rig is too new too us. Maybe in a couple of years we will remodel some. For us Fall is major adventure time. Time to turn the key and change the view. Woo-hoo road trip 🎉
Hi Chris! Brian is 6 foot if that helps you imagine how well you would fit in the recliner. We’ve seen people taller in the recliners and they are comfortable
Which model and color theater seats did you purchase? The only ones I see have cup holders on the armrests which I don't like. Also, do they attach underneath to the floor?
On their website, go to furniture, then modular pieces. We have the Charles Collection in 3 pieces. Our center console is the 12”. The fabric is oatmeal. We don’t have our bolted down, though you can. We haven’t had an issue. Hope that helps!
I got the recpro quad set up with 9" console and cloth in " fossil" color. It's simply not comfortable. The cloth has a "ruggedized" texture and is not soft and then the cushion is sufficient but on the firm side. So you cant effortlessly slouch on the couch. Not conforyable but i do like the look of it.
We have a Gulfstream vintage cruiser. The jack knife sofa is awful but the slide mechanism is under it. I don’t think it will work but I really want recliners. Any advice? Thank you
Hi Toni! Our recliners are on our slide out. We had a jackknife sofa originally but changed it out to these and they work great. Why don't you think they will work on your slide out? I don't know a lot about Gulfstream vintage cruisers except they are cute! 😆
Hi! Thanks for asking. On the RecPro website you will find a variety of sizes. We have 29" wall hugger recliners with a 16" center console. I hope that helps!
Great question! We opted to not fasten ours down as the original couch in the trailer was not fastened from the factory. The chair really is heavy enough to not slide around and we’ve only had problems after the very bumpiest of rides (ever been on I-10 in Louisiana?). If you want a little more piece of mind, you can use a few 1-1/2 inch lag bolts directly into the floor through holes in the base of the chairs. I would recommend one on each side rail for each chair (4 total) and not bolt the small center console.
Have you updated your RV furniture? Tell us about what set up looks like!
Are these recliners bolted down?
@@fl676 We didn't bolt them down but they can be easily bolted.
Awesome! I can hardly wait to buy my new furniture in January.
You’re going to love them!!
Oh, the new furniture is so nice. We really like those. They have to be more comfortable too.
They are! Thank you! ❤️
We have a sofa right now, but when it wears out, this is exactly what we're going. You made it look so easy. Lynn and Danny
We were surprised at how easy it was to install.

That was very smart of you to save the jackknife sofa, we should have done the same thing but we don't have the best storage space.

Video coming soon as well.
Same fabric style too? We knew you had good taste! Lol Happy upgrade, congrats!
That’s so cool!!! Love the color too💃🏻💪🏼🙌🏼
Thank you!! They are so comfortable! ❤️
A toddler or two!! 😳👶 you sayin there maybe another gbady coming? 😉😉 Live the chairs, and the color!
LOL Grandparents can always dream. Maybe a granddaughter and her friend. LOL Thank you! ❤️
Love seeing you two enjoying the final set up!
Thanks! We’re always modifying. ❤️😆

WooHoo! We can’t wait to see where you go!!
Wow great selection! I love the way they fit together!
Thank you!! 😊 We are more pleased than we ever realized. I don't know what took us so long to get this furniture. Thanks!
I’m 6’ 4” tall and wondering if this option will work for me.

Love it! Thank you for the information
You are so welcome! Are you upgrading your RV furniture?

I’m so sorry to hear that Will! Have you reached out to RecPro?

What size in total are the reclining chairs?

How did you fasten the chair base to the floor of the slider?

We have similar set up from rec pro. Beware...Bolts kept popping out of groves between pieces.
Good to know! Thanks! We have not had that issue but we will keep an eye out.
Your recliners do not attach to the floor?
We chose not to secure them but you can. Hope that helps!
We have a motorhome and they move around some
@@heatherbaca6934 makes sense. You can definitely secure them.
