Epic battle.Hale Irwin v David Graham.1976.Final.World Matchplay

36 holes was not enough for one of the toughest fought out finals of the then Piccadilly World Match Play Championship. Very dark towards the end but the players keep us the guessing who is going to win right to the end!

Probably the greatest final,Graham trailed all day,won the 36th and 38th to prevail.I remember watching this live..absolutely brilliant!!!

This was truly a very contested match and the narration was fitting for a battle like this. But it was Graham's putting that helped him prevail in this match. He sank 2 or 3 very long putts at the end to get the win.
