I wish my hair was as thick as hers 😭 my hair is thin AND fine so if you gather all of my hair in one hand it isn't as thick as one third of her braid x.x
@gretekla8337 Maybe try a good hair oil? When I take out my braid, it is initially frizzy but I put hair oil through the length of my hair. It removes the frizz completely and my hair is left sleek and wavy.
Homey, I see from your picture you have absolutely gorgeous hair. If I were you I would do shades of purple and blue starting from the bottom of my shoulder. Since there is nothing you can do to make the hair tht's already grown out so much.

I don't know why that first bun doesn't work on my hair. Mine keeps falling and it feels like someone is trying to pluck all my hair and makes my scalp hurt for the whole next morning. I have awfull skills.
try a hair stick ! mine did that forever n then i got hair sticks and it stays perfectly on my head all day n doesn’t pull ! n my hairs hellllla long it’s literally the only thing that keeps my hair up
You have the best hair ever! So thick, long, healthy and a beautiful color. Also, you’re in general very beautiful. You should do a video on skincare or makeup too, your skin is glowing, so perfect
please do not try the twist bun, i have hair longer and possibly thicker than in the video and it causes breakage directly from the scalp on certain parts of my head now depending which way a twisted and how my hair is pulling on my scalp
So I have very fine hair that goes down to the middle of my back. My job requires me to wear my hair back everyday. I’ve started to develop a bald spot on the crown of my head where my ponytail/bun sits. I don’t feel like any of these hairstyles look good with my fine hair anyone have recommendations?
Have you tried switching it up with milkmaid braids or such? Or if you're pulling your hair back to bun, if you're using an elastic before bunning, that's probably the culprit. Elastics, especially used in the same spot long term tend to cause damage. Hair forks or sticks to hold styles or some kind of clip that doesn't catch hair in the hinge is better if you can manage it.
So nice to see this topic being discussed by someone with *straight* hair for once!
if u do not tuck the ends away its not protective hairstyle because the end will rub against surfaces and break away and hence lose length
I wish my hair was as thick as hers 😭 my hair is thin AND fine so if you gather all of my hair in one hand it isn't as thick as one third of her braid x.x
Such a thick and luscious braid 🥰
ive been wearing buns like that to sleep and i get a lot of breakage at the crown :( has anyone else experienced?
It helps using a silk or satin pillowcase, it causes less friction 😄
Try doing a low bun
Do a basic, side braid
Don't make your buns too tight because that can cause breakage
Try rope braid instead because it causes less waves (in my experience)
My hair always gets frizzy and curly from buns and braids.
Before you put your braids in make it's like still a little bit wet and put some frizzy styling spray serum in and that should help!
Not frizzy curly
You probably have wavy or even curly hair then, check out hair routines for those types of hair
@@Nezumior NOPE!!! Straight hair will look wavy after braiding. That's just what hair does.

Amy Leigh I want to dye mine so much
Amy Leigh I’m not really worried about bleaching it since I know I won’t ever do that. I’m worried about it growing out haha

She said take everything there, but I got nothing on my head.
bruh the first hairstyle damages hair so much.
Her hair is so thick, long, and healthy looking. I wishhhh
The third one is called a fishtail braid.
Is a loose braided ponytail a Protective Hairstyle for growing long hair?
Only if you leave the front section of hair out (about what could be bangs). It pulls on the front. Put that hair back separately.
@@RunninUpThatHillh Wow. Fancy seeing you here! You're everywhere haha

These are great but seem like they would only really work if you already have some length.

Can you tell me why your silky hair needs protective styles/
all for the youtube hits
infiniteuniversalthinking I Assume all hair can benefit from protective styles
So that it keeps growing and stays long.
infiniteuniversalthinking It still gets damaged (like split ends) if just left down all the time
All types of hair gets breakage.
