"Nothing has a stronger influence psychologically on their environment and especially on their children than the unlived life of the parent". I found this quote intriguing. If you witness something your parents missed out on, and the regret, sadness, and maybe humiliation they felt, that affect on you can be profound. It can wake you up to ensure you don't suffer the same fate.
Personally, I found this to be significant because throughout life you witness many children being forced to live the dreams of their parents. Things the parent missed out on or didn't do and it gets pushed upon their children, thus causing unhappiness in the son or daughter. All in the name of "I never got the chance to do this" or ": "I only wish I could have done what you're doing" or "I wish my parents had made me do this when I was your age." You see this a lot in sports and in education. The happiness of the child is not the priority of the parent.
The quote means children have no idea how much Influence their parent's own life pattern, their short comings, their follies have on them ... yet they could not do anything about it . Its like an un lived life for the children who have to bear all the consequences yet having not a single minute of it personally.

Most people know it. Yet, they do not know. It’s their path, how silly or lazy it seems in our conceptualised minds. They do knot know vs they have not found it out. It’s a unique path we all walk on, how cruel and horrifying most are.
@@enitjuh3344 I judge understanding by acting on what you know. If you know something but do not act on that information, it’s the same result as not knowing. This comes from none other than Stephen Covey!
@@enitjuh3344 ... and most people will survive and grow some children anyway - without asking questions like this - and that's what makes them 'the fine selection' from perspective of evolution... not depths of their philosophical insight...
@michael57603 that’s a beautiful saying, but what if people do know, but don’t act on it because of fear, suppression.. Is that also not knowing? Most dreams are myths too right for such people who do not know that dreams aren’t actually dreams but could be real life goals!
@@enitjuh3344 I'd say they lack courage of their convictions. It's better to have a no excuse mindset (assuming you want to achieve your goals).
All in the name of "I never got the chance to do this" or ": "I only wish I could have done what you're doing" or "I wish my parents had made me do this when I was your age."
You see this a lot in sports and in education.
@@jeffmejia111 that’s true too. It’s important to resist, sometimes, the advice your parents give you. Everyone’s advice is limited to their experience. Taking advice from others is assuming they know more about your future than you do.
This one hit home to me. My parents always seemed burdened by my sister and I growing up. My mother was always trying to compete with my sister and I when we were teens....she was more of a bully than a loving mother. It was like growing up with a mean older sister that just wanted to inflict power and emotional pain on us. My dad was a workaholic just to avoid us all. I couldn't wait to leave so I could live my own life and be done with her. My sister has one friend to this day, my mom. More like she is a hostage.
@@77Tadams I'm sorry you and your sister grew up in such confusion, disorder, and dysfunction. God made you both out of love, and your parents, too. I hope you will choose to forgive your mother for having failed you and your sister. God bless and heal you all, friend.
stop with these clickbait non sense. you are disrespecting a great man of our times by doing such a stupid shameless thing.
The most profound quote alludes to the behavior of attractive women, highlighting their resourcefulness and practicality. This concept intertwines with the halo effect, where diverse qualities spill over into areas of limited knowledge, ultimately imparting a lesson in discernment. And overcoming feelings of disgust regarding those who utilize clickbait to manipulate behavior.
I love and respect this man. His easy wisdom always sheds light.
Although I do disagree with the quote about a beautiful woman..
I have been told I was beautiful and I never let it change who I was.
I have been married for 45 years. To judge someone because of
how they look is not fair. Maybe he was hurt by someone in his
life, and blamed it on her appearance. Beauty is not a precursor to
being unkind.
Perhaps your beauty is not of the same quality as the one he is describing.
Each of these sayings is so profound that we should be allowed more time to think about them. we are whisked too quickly past each one.
Yes, maybe if there was a longer pause between them, so we could pause the video and think about them.

My favourite quote from Carl Jung is
“Only a complete wazzack would miss out the quotation that forms the very title of his collection of quotations - thus leaving everyone frustrated”
My second favourite quote from Carl Jung is
“The more attractive a woman is, the less she has a chance to have true love and the more she is likely to live with a broken heart…………………which is still not as bad as a twat who fails to include the title quotation in his collection of quotations”
I have shared this with all my friends and I have listened to it 5x. Downloaded and saved!!!!!

@Andai 😁
Where is the quote about the attractive woman?
This man is one of the most intelligent and wise that has existed
Clickbait. The comment on attractive women was not in there
I think that's the entire quote ,no?
What I got from that is the more attractive she is the more likely she is to....

@@dr1flush now that is right..👍

Dishonest clickbait channel, not one quote on women, thumbnail bears zero relation to the video... 😆
Purpose is something we conjure up to entertain us whilst the great work is accomplished.
"A particularly beautiful woman is a source of terror. As a rule a beautiful woman is a terrible disappointment" - Carl Jung... There's something that he did say that's not click bait. And something that can actually help you.
"This is just like television, only you can see much further."
😂 The content with the WOMAN always work!!! Psychology!😅
Only for men & maybe same with women?
It worked for me!
to attract a mate who is equal in attractiveness, and or .... needs desperate inside work on his idealized and unresolved Mother fixation.... or a man of power and money. feels the need to prove themselves vicariously through purchasing a trophy ! Jung gives me 10000000000000000000000 times more than Freud or Nietzsche. He lives the solution, not the problem.
Jung seem's whole another level............
but now i have not intensely read 3 of them..
I also resonate more with Jung but he built on the shoulder of others including Freud
I agree, he had a life I would actually want!
Maybe don't recommend your other videos such that they're blocking the quotes.
He did this because it's a fake quote. It's complete clickbait.

The more attractive a woman is the more she thinks once and does twice than thinks twice and does not!!!

Thanks for the content, please keep doing this!
Why is the opening quote never finished in the presentation?
Intense and much appreciated
Where was the quote about women??
I have testimony that disproves this "What you fear most you attract" idea. I've never been captured by enemy fighters and tortured to death, largely because I never joined the military because I was so afraid of that outcome. Cowardly? Of course. But it is an example of why this whole belief about attracting what you fear is bogus. Just in case I'm somehow wrong, in case I'm not seeing this properly, then I'm going to start right now really fearing living too rich and vibrant a life!
What's the feeling lying underneath the specifics?
What being captured metaphorically or symbolically? Maybe the idea itself has began to torture you.
Ur case ..yet to experience..be ready. For the show
which we don't fear don't attract us.......well said
Pure, sheer wisdom, thanks a million Jung!!!
Good content, but I'm disliking it and not subscribing due to the clickbaits.
The more attractive a woman the more likely she is dominating and critical of a man. She spots the mistakes in a man as she for sure sees the feminine unconscious in him and what can go wrong. Like the thumbnail of this video.
Isn't this a little bit too fast, why set quotes on speed run like that?

The fear of the Lord is the beginning/foundation of all wisdom and knowledge. All Truth is found in Him. The fool says in his heart, 'there is no God.' But all Creation declares the evidence of its Designer and Redeemer so no one can claim innocent ignorance. Wisdom is a trait of God woven into his creation, just like any human artist can be found in their creations. And that, too is a reflection of God. Let everything that breathes turn to it's Maker in awe.
