BTS quotes Dr Martin Luther King, Jr in this MV. "If you can't fly, then run. If you can't run, then walk. If you can't walk, then crawl." You can see the behind the scenes on this one. It was outside, it was very cold. I don't think there is any CGI at all.
Seo Taiji and the Boys did the original COME BACK HOME (covered by BTS very nicely) and there's the cutest video of them performing it live. I love it!
When you said "old school kpop" my eyes lit up 😂. I wanna recommend Shinhwa then. They're the only kpop that has been together for 20 years and has never lost a member or broken up and gotten back together. You should react to Wild Eyes (2001), Perfect Man (I can't remember the year for this one), and Only One (2000). I also recommend some old school YG (the company Blackpink is from). I think y'all would like the songs YG Family - Famillenium (i might have spelled that wrong oops 😅) which came out in 1999, Jinusean - Phone Number, and YG Family - Hip Hop Gentleman
I would recommend for „old school kpop“ Big Bang - Fantastic Baby Shinee - Sherlock or Lucifer Super Junior - Sorry Sorry TVXQ - Something 2NE1 - Fire Snsd - Gee
1st Generation Kpop: Seo Taji & the Boys, SHINHWA, H.O.T, Sechskies, Fin.KL (I don't know any other artist smh) 2nd Generation Kpop: Super Junior, Big Bang, 2NE1, Girls Generation, TVXQ, SHINEE, Brown Eyed Girls, Wonder Girls, BAP, BTOB, 2PM, F(x), 2NE1, INFINITE. (Idk if this is 2nd generation or 1st generation but I love the song Rainism by Rain!) 3rd Generation: BTS (Of course) EXO, GOT7, Blackpink, NCT, MONSTA X, WINNER, IKON, SEVENTEEN, PENTAGON, ASTRO, RED VELVET, VIXX, KARD, there's so many good groups! P.S. Blood, Sweat, and Tears choreography give me MJ vibes too lol
SHINee - Lucifer (2010) Super Junior - Sorry Sorry (2009) SNSD (Girl’s Generation) - Gee (2009) Bigbang - Haru Haru (2008) 2ne1 - I am the best (2011) These are some iconic old kpop songs 😊 would love to see yall reacting to it! (It’s soooo different from the kpop of nowadays, you gonna be shook lmao)
Caio Passos 2011 is a different era of kpop, so I already see it as “old school kpop” (and tbh i dont think a lot of kpop stans actually know kpop from the 80’s lmfao)
It's a great MV - & it's got great lyrics. They used an MLK, Jr. quote in one of the verses, so don't forget to turn on CCs for great BTS lyrics 😉 (or maybe look up translations before/after you watch the MV cuz sometimes there's a lot going on in their MVs). Ohhh old school kpop? Rain-Rainisim (this is Fckn iconic y'all need to listen) Tvxq-Mirotic Brown eyed girls-Abracadabra Wondergirls- Tell me Nobody Lee Jung Hyun - Wa (this ones from the early 90s, techno and iconic. Watch the live performance!) The only "old school kpop" that I liked are the songs BTS covered. Like Seo Taiji's "Come Back Home", Shinhwa's "Perfect Man", Kim Sung Jae's "As I Told You", etc.
It would be interesting if y'all reacted to Seo Taiji and Boys "Comeback Home" (1995) and listen to BTS' remake of "Comeback Home" (2017). Both are dope in their own ways!
I am a HARDCORE BTS stan. I only stan BTS. 😂But please do react to other groups as well. K-pop has A LOT to offer in general. Tq for loving BTS. I purple U
Also, the quote that RM states in the begining " There may come a day when we may loose buts not today, today we fight ". It is from The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Not the original quote but you can tell it was inspired from this quote.
If we're talking real old school and not just songs from 10 years ago. 1TYM - One Love (released in 2000) (One actually produces for BLACK PINK) G.O.D - To Mother (released in 1999) H.O.T - Outside Castle (released in 2000) This was all before UA-cam. The struggle was real back then to even get to watch these music videos.
I'm not a specialist, so just from what I remember, *Seo Taiji* basically brought the pop/hip-hop trend in an westernized way to S. I have to mention *SNSD* (aka Girls Generation) and *Super Junior* , since they were some of the groups that brought kpop into my attention, back in 2012. And then there's *F(x)* , *4Minute* , *2ne1* , *BigBang* , and many more, but this are the ones that come to mind first, since they were rly big when I got interested. (There's more, like... Boyfriend and B.A.P but I gotta say I did not listen to much of those. I always saw kpop as just a different type of pop, with not rly many faves, and, although I like it a lot - and there is so many nice ppl innthe groups - I never rly stanned anyone before BTS and even then, it took me a while to get to know their work and all) Anyway, I hope this helps a bit.
As for suggestions.. An oldie but a goodie is BTS's 'Danger'. Also check out iKON's 'Bling Bling' and Big Bang's 'Fantastic Baby'. Also for an 'old school' video, Big Bang's 'Lies' and 'Haru Haru'. Possibly BoA's 'Girl On Top'.
Some old school K-pop: Seotaiji and the Boys- Comeback Home, Park Ji Yoon-Coming of age Ceremony, Shinee- replay (honestly any of their songs), Rain- rainism, Girls’ Generation-I got a Boy, Exo-k- Mama, Ikon-Anthem ( this ones not really an old school song but it has an old school hip hop feel to it). Thx for the reaction💜
Winner fool, NCT 127 7th sense, big bang bang bang,Jay park all I wanna do, Jay park Aquaman,Jay park solo, SHINee married to the music, SHINee replay, SHINee 1of 1, ikon rthyme ta,ikon Bling bling,
Zico on the BLOCK Mixtape Vol 1 (Dead President, Attention, Get Em High, Mosquito) - for more "old skool" style Korean hip hop... I can't believe this was released 8 years ago now! Zico - BERMUDA TRIANGLE (Feat. Crush, DEAN) (ENG SUB) MV for his newer music.
Cypher pt 2 the sickest imo. However, not really old school. I think they meant more like older kpop stuff, like Super Junior, Shinhwa, Shinee, or maybe the best for them to check out - BigBang
Not old old school, but old school compared to what they've reacted to mostly.. I didn't realise I needed to specify that, of course I'm not talking about 90s or 2000s kpop, I just meant a little older lol
@@anao.6837 I guess I misunderstood what they meant, but if you dont like what I said, then you can recommend them old school kpop, cause apparantly you seem know what it is.
Evolution of Kpop: - Seo Taiji & Boys - Come Back Home - H.O.T - We are the Future - Rain - Rainism - Girls Generation - Gee - Big Bang - Fantastic baby - BTS - DNA
Ok so there are 2 kpop groups that i love wich are BTS and BigBang😊big bang are like the gods of kpop in my opinion and their leader G-Dragon had s lot of influence in this!please react to Bigbang-fantastic baby and you will see!great reactions😍💪🏻
You can also count on BTS to provide high quality music videos and dope choreographies. On top of that, they use their music to tell their own stories and express messages of hope to the youth of today. I totally respect them! Thank you so much for the reaction!
They are dancing on a round, polished granite slab in an actual quarry in South Korea...and, yes, there is a very good episode of the behind the scenes making of this video. Well worth the watch. 😊
We definitely need an agust d reaction and a blood sweat&tears just saying 👉🏻👈🏻 the oldschool kpop are 2nd and 1st gen groups but I personally don’t recommend them (1st gen groups) but that’s a very personal taste so don’t @ me
Can I @ you just to ask why? Personally I started out with the 2nd gen groups and just wanted to see 1st gen to see how we got to where we are and to see how much had changed, but I'm interested to hear your opinion. I like most of them, though there are still groups I don't know and haven't heard anyone else say they dislike 1st gen groups. Promise not to get mad and rage at you or be immature and start a useless fanwar or whatever. I know people have their own opinions and preferable music tastes and I can respect that since we're all different people. Again, I'm honestly just curious.
If there was one song Id like BTS to really perform on a global audience (BBMAs, Grammy's, wherever), it's this one. Im ready for the hype! The goosebumps everybody will get! It's just a really great feel-great song.
Shinhwa: Perfect Man! From them an entire era of boy bands were born. Many of today's kpop groups look to them as an example, even going so far as to celebrate Shinhwa's success by covering many of their song. BTS did Perfect Man!
Such an underdog anthem. I love this video. Classic BTS. This location is in Korea, and yes, they were very cold during the MV shoot. You can see it with the behind the scenes. You can find all of their dance choreo and behind the scenes, and vlogs on their UA-cam channel, Bangtantv
There is the band Shinhwa that is having their 20th anniversary. They are in the Guinness world record as the only group without breakups or having a member leave. They debuted in 1998!
freaking love it bro awesome video mates, love your videos, this is one of my favs. just started doin reactions and stuff hope theyre good too. keep em coming love it. always so good
Please react to BTS IDOL. It just came out. They blended Korean traditional sound and African beats and its really great. Their CEO has been studying African culture for a while now so I think you’ll like it :) but only react TOMORROW!! please. We are all streaming so it would be kinda bad to post a reaction vid now
BTS mvs are breathtakingly amazing but when you watch their live performances (Not Today, Blood Sweat n Tears, Fire, Mic Drop, etc) you will amazed more. They are perfect representation for TALENT and HARDWORK. They are so crazy! Like real crazy talented artist! 👍👍👍
For a thrwoback classic that is constantly covered by other groups check out TVXQ Mirotic. They are Legends. Also Shinhwa This Love, HOT Candy, 2pm Heartbeat, Big bang Lies or their song Haru Haru as well
I really love Shinee and Super Junior and they're still together and making music currently so they have their old school stuff and then their newer stuff for comparison.
Man, rewatching these videos with y’all just reminds me of how fucking SMOOTH their dancing and transitions are. Y’all should check out Seo Taiji amd the Boys. BTS did a remake of one of their songs and performed with Seo Taiji onstage for his 25th Anniversary concert. It was epic!
Btw if u guys wants to hear old kpop or the revolutionary one. Check out Seo Taiji & Boys like one of his best song "come back home". They're the one who start kpop revolution in korea when their announce retired from kpop, it makes chaos all over korea. You can check their story in youtube too. Also their old school kpop group like H.O.T, Sech kies, Turbo if u interest.
Thank you for not saying you want to listen to all music and not just bts. I hate it when a channel just turns in to a bts react channel that only raves about how good they are and not give criticism.
Seo Taiji and the boys is the old school kpop they were like the first groups that shaped how kpop groups are today. Bts covered one of their songs no more dream. You should also check out H.O.T
Omg yay I'm so glad you want to check out old school k-pop :D I personally believe no one should be a fan of just one or two groups, they don't know what they're missing out on! I'm checking out your reactions in a chronological order (oldest first), so once I'm done, I'll give you a list of recommendations :D Btw love your reactions
Old School kpop is Shinhwa (they’re still active today, and the longest running kpop group, Their on their 20th year) and there’s also Sechskies (in 2016 they reunited and are active again but missing one member) and girlgroups there are S.E.S and Fin.kl (s.e.s reunited for Their 20th year last year but not active and same wire fin.kl but they didn’t meet up)
I recommend Epik High(early 2000s), they're not kpop, but korean hip hop. They're great lyricists. They actually inspired some BTS members to pursue music. Some of their old MVs that I love are: Peace Day, Fan, Paris, Fly, Map the soul there is an Eng version), 1 minute 1 second, Breakdown, Wannabe & High Technology, and Spoiler.
Wow, you guys are doing great with how you've entered into your Kpop/BTS journey! You've seen quite a few of BTS's iconic music videos that so far have given you a good handle on what they're like, how they perform, and how they present themselves with their vocals, choreography and lyrics. Now, there are a couple different directions that you can choose between as you continue. BTS is known for their highly synchronized choreography, but you don't see the complete dance routines in most of the MVs where there are cuts, scene changes, different settings, etc. So I strongly recommend you watch some of their DANCE PRACTICES; these are amazing and show how much they put into their challenging choreographies. They work with several of the top choreographers in the world, like KEONE MADRID and KYLE HANAGAMI. These guys send them a video with the general idea for the dance, their personal teacher learns it and then teaches it to them. Sometime you should watch the Keone Madrid submission for FIRE, ......ua-cam.com/video/p47gpTYwqB4/v-deo.html then check out the BTS Dance Practice for it. ........ua-cam.com/video/sWuYspuN6U8/v-deo.html Awesome! Before I say any more about the dance practices, I just want to tell you to take a look at the finished music video for the song DOPE; it was the breakout MV that heralded the beginning of BTS's recognition on the worldwide music stage! And have the subtitles on; they're important! Also, there are many many MVs that are part of a greater whole and need to be watched in a specific order, or you will be thoroughly confused! But for now, I want to introduce you to the Dance Practices that first got me into BTS. Here is DANGER: ua-cam.com/video/vJwHIpEogEY/v-deo.html Next is I NEED U Dance Practice: ua-cam.com/video/hvUZb9NT7EY/v-deo.html Just check out the intricate dance moves, the level of difficulty and the synchronization! These DPs from 3-4-5 years ago, they wore whatever they were comfortable in, and practiced hard....sweaty, worn out, tired, but still on point. This is motivation! But in the last 1-2 years, their DPs have become more streamlined or "formal" in terms of coordinated outfits, well-rehearsed but not perspiring, a newer practice room, etc. Their choreos have become even more beautiful to watch, trying different things, more innovative. Of course you can watch whatever you please in whatever order, but after you've seen DOPE MV (and check out its DP too......it's "dope!"), maybe FIRE MV, then the DPs for DANGER and I NEED U, now I highly recommend you go back to BTS's beginning and see what they were like when they debuted! Believe me, you will be amazed. Even at their debut, they were so polished, so in synch with one another......it's just incredible. And JUNGKOOK rapped quite a bit in the beginning, and he was GREAT!! (He is my Bias, by the way!!) Watch these Dance Practices: NO MORE DREAM WE ARE BULLETPROOF PART 2 N.O BOY IN LUV At this point, you will be pretty well-versed in BTS!! You'll have seen their beginning and their middle years, and you've already watched a lot of their more current stuff. There's a ton of more dance practices, live performances, concert footage, and oodles more. To be aware of the watch-in-order videos, this is entering the BTS universe where they are telling a complicated and amazing story that continues through many MVs and is still ongoing in the presentation time (did I say the present?....um, well...). It begins in the HYYH Era (THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MOMENT IN LIFE) in 2015, with the following MVs: I NEED U (19+); PROLOGUE; RUN; YOUNG FOREVER. That's the first Era, to get you started, if you so desire. I hope you enjoy the videos I've listed above. I'm excited to see what direction you choose to take at this point! Please feel free to ask questions or request clarification. Good luck!
Edit: sorry in advance the moment i started typing i couldn't stop lol about the Korean music industry: they don't just make songs they manufacture them. entertainment companies most of the time make the music, lyrics and videos for the singers (hire the right people and so on). the singers and groups are under contract by those companies who decide for them what they do where they go and in what way. and those singers join that company they are in, at a very young age and have (supported by the company) years of learning and practicing dancing, singing, camera readiness and everything needed to become a star. at the end of all this they are hand picked from dozens and sometimes hundreds of trainees of said company to join a group that will debut. each group does many styles of music, and many songs have many styles of genres. the idols themselves are working on those dance moves and singing, many hours a day for many weeks if not months. both sides are dedicated but its important to note that most the time the end product (song, video, lyrics and more) belongs to the company and are only permitted to use by the singers). also important to say on a final note: the companies work the idols hard but most of the time aren't tyrants and they do reward their singers if they work hard (again most of the time) and even more so if they get successful enough. TL;DR - kpop groups and singers are backed up by major companies who invest in them for the long run years in advance. that's why you see a huge production of video, dancing and everything else. too many songs to recommend so i'll stick to one song per group and only few per generation: old kpop: DJ DOC - run to you (90s kpop) Seo Taiji and Boys - come back home (90s kpop. fun fact: one of the singers of this group is a founder and CEO of YG entertainment which produces the big names like Blackpink and Psy, those are 2 names i think you know, and many many more) modern kpop started mid 2000s to 2013. a few modern kpop groups each with many great songs: super junior - sorry sorry Brown Eyed Girls - Abracadabra BigBang - Fantastic baby Wonder girls - Tell me SHINee - ring ding dong 2PM - Hands up modern kpop as it is now (well now and past 4-5 years): 2NE1 - i am the best Red velvet - bad boy Girl's Generation - I got a boy NCT 127 - Cherry bomb Monsta X - Hero sorry if a group wasn't in the list they were just random from the top of my head.
TVXQ - Mirotic (2008). Amazing song by an amazing group that unfortunately split in 2009 because of issues with the company, but this song is one of their last ones as a group of 5. At their peak, they were the largest boyband in Asia and helped pave the way for groups like Big Bang and BTS! I would also recommend watching their Japanese ballads live. I would look up Tohoshinki when looking up their Japanese ballads cause that was their name in Japan! Some great Japanese ballads by them are "Why Did I Fall In Love With You", "Stand By U", "Love In The Ice" and "Bolero". In my opinion theres very few groups that can harmonize or sing acapella like they could.
💥90s to early 00s Artists💥 Seo Taji Come back home ,Shinhwa Perfect Man, Boa Girls on Top, Rain Love Song, TVXQ Mirotic, Wonder Girls So Hot, Lee Hyori U go Girl, Super Junior Sorry Sorry, Big Bang Haru Haru, Girls Generation Genie, Shinee Replay, 2pm Again, 2ne1 Fire
The very first k-pop song I ever liked was All Your Dreams by Shinhwa. They originally released it about 20 years ago. It's a far cry from modern k-pop but I really like it.
I can only really suggest kpop from 2009, 2010, and up; considering, that that was around the time, I became a fan. SS501 - Deja Vu Afterschool - Bang BoA - Only One + Hurricane Venus (released, probably around 2012) Rain - Love Song Kara - Lupin
For me, the best BTS songs to show non-kpop fans are DOPE and FIRE, coz those songs are for everyone I think. Just my opinion coz, in my experience, I never got why people like BTS when I watched something like Blood Sweat and Tears or even DNA but when I saw DOPE and FIRE I began to appreciate their newer songs.
BTS quotes Dr Martin Luther King, Jr in this MV. "If you can't fly, then run. If you can't run, then walk. If you can't walk, then crawl." You can see the behind the scenes on this one. It was outside, it was very cold. I don't think there is any CGI at all.
bumping this up
indeed i love behind the scenes videos, i posted the link for them, even if they don't react to it hopefully they'll watch it.
there is no cgi based on their behind the scene.

When you said "old school kpop" my eyes lit up 😂. I wanna recommend Shinhwa then. They're the only kpop that has been together for 20 years and has never lost a member or broken up and gotten back together. Caio Passos 2011 is a different era of kpop, so I already see it as “old school kpop” (and tbh i dont think a lot of kpop stans actually know kpop from the 80’s lmfao)
Kumari Ross omfgggg i forgot that one
It's a great MV - & it's got great lyrics. They used an MLK, Jr. quote in one of the verses, so don't forget to turn on CCs for great BTS lyrics 😉 (or maybe look up translations before/after you watch the MV cuz sometimes there's a lot going on in their MVs).
Here's the verse I'm talking about btw:
"If you can’t fly, then run
Today we will survive
If you can’t run, then walk
Today we will survive
If you can’t walk, then crawl
Even if you have to crawl, gear up"
Another great verse in this song:
"Throw it up! Throw it up!
Forget about the fear in your eyes
Break it up! Break it up!
Break the glass ceiling that cages you
Turn it up! (Turn it up!)
Burn it up! (Burn it up!)
Until the day of victory (fight!)

wtf Im a hardcore lotr fan and never noticed this, you've blessed me thank you haha
If we're talking real old school and not just songs from 10 years ago.
1TYM - One Love (released in 2000)
(One actually produces for BLACK PINK)
G.O.D - To Mother (released in 1999)
H.O.T - Outside Castle (released in 2000)
This was all before UA-cam. The struggle was real back then to even get to watch these music videos.
I think you would freak out seeing the live or dance practice version of this.
They build that stage in that actual place somewhere in corea there is no green screen you can see it in the making of the video!!! Theyre awesome!!!♡
I'm not a specialist, so just from what I remember, *Seo Taiji* basically brought the pop/hip-hop trend in an westernized way to S. And then there's *F(x)* , *4Minute* , *2ne1* , *BigBang* , and many more, but this are the ones that come to mind first, since they were rly big when I got interested.
(There's more, like... Boyfriend and B.A.P but I gotta say I did not listen to much of those. I always saw kpop as just a different type of pop, with not rly many faves, and, although I like it a lot - and there is so many nice ppl innthe groups - I never rly stanned anyone before BTS and even then, it took me a while to get to know their work and all)
Anyway, I hope this helps a bit.
B.A.P one shot, awesome song and video
As for suggestions.. An oldie but a goodie is BTS's 'Danger'. Also check out iKON's 'Bling Bling' and Big Bang's 'Fantastic Baby'. Also for an 'old school' video, Big Bang's 'Lies' and 'Haru Haru'. Possibly BoA's 'Girl On Top'.
This mv filmed in winter!!!! full two days!!!!
BTS practiced 13 hours every day 8 years long, together Trainee years 3-5 years, Debut 6 years
2ne1 crush , can’t nobody live ver , 2ne1. The 👸 of kpop 💥💥💥💥

Older kpop groups? Check out Big Bang! Songs like Bang Bang Bang, Bae Bae, Fantastic Baby, and haru haru and lies (much older)
Yes you're right they do have a behind the scenes for this 😅 link in the comments below..

BAP has some good music too! Wake me up, hands up, etc.
React to Seo Taiji's Come Back Home (oldschool) and the BTS' version of it
How about Korean K Hiphop
Let's start from 'Eung Freestyle' :)

Zico - BERMUDA TRIANGLE (Feat. Crush, DEAN) (ENG SUB) MV for his newer music.
Watch DOPE next
Yoooooooo ok guys this needs to go to the top of your list BTS - IDOL
Shinee replay is definitely a back in the day bop
If you want some old school stuff then listen to bts cyphers 1, 2, and 3. I also recommend cypher 4 cause it's a bop.
Cypher pt 2 the sickest imo. However, not really old school. I think they meant more like older kpop stuff, like Super Junior, Shinhwa, Shinee, or maybe the best for them to check out - BigBang
????? That aint old school kpop
@@shadowzara I thought they were talking about the genre of old school. I guess I misheard.
Please react to K. Will "please don't".... it's a must....
Yoon min rae - Angel
Shes korean and black and the song is amazing.
The sound is so....huh....i get so happy everytime i see it.
Please react to Kwill - Please Don't... It's like essential for Kpop reactors to react to that music video...
yes!!! :D
😋
Please React to Epik High and Tablo (who’s part of Epik High) songs with lyrics.
Some more awesome artist:
Big Bang and 2NE1
Monsta X and seventeen
M K yass epik high deserves more appreciation tbh
Evolution of Kpop:
- Seo Taiji & Boys - Come Back Home
- H.O.T - We are the Future
- Rain - Rainism
- Girls Generation - Gee
- Big Bang - Fantastic baby
- BTS - DNA
Most of the BTS choreography reminds me Michael Jackson as well so I totally agree with what he said
love the guy to the right, his voice is smooth & I love his insight
I think "SHINee" and "BigBang" could count as old school K-Pop? And "Seo Taiji and boys"? :)
React to BTS : blood sweat and tears , fake love, spring day 😍😍😍💕💕💕 they're Kings, I swear
Another Korean group by the name of NCT U.. Their The 7th Sense MV react to that please?!
Cassandra Denise right they need to react Iam over here refreshing the page 😔😂
BTS will be releasing a NEW MV this Friday called IDOL!!!!! Please react to it as soon as you can
If there was one song Id like BTS to really perform on a global audience (BBMAs, Grammy's, wherever), it's this one.
Bts - save me
Am I the only one who replayed Jungkook’s solo part literally a 100 times? I can’t describe it there’s just something cool and iconic about that part?
Huzi I get that feeling a lot with Jungkooks parts in songs (MicDrop,Anpanman, Paradise)
it's cool, but the original dance practice where he slowly rolls on the ground is epic. i liked that more! lol
Some real old school vibe :
JAY PARK - on it.
Cyphers 1-4 from the rap line
방탄소년단 NOT TODAY. 최애♡♡
Stray Kids - My Pace
They're a very young group, just debuted this year but produce all their music themselves!!
Actually this is very motivational song. which give you strength and good vibes upon listening...
Please react to the live performance of not today. It is truly amazing.
Please take a look at Bermuda Triangle by Zico. It's lit
REACT TO BTS - FIRE, DOPE, WE ARE BULLETPROOF AND SPRING DAY!
Seo Taiji 'come back home' that's old I guess...
For a thrwoback classic that is constantly covered by other groups check out TVXQ Mirotic. They are Legends. Also Shinhwa This Love, HOT Candy, 2pm Heartbeat, Big bang Lies or their song Haru Haru as well
For something differenr but a bad ass choreography...SEVENTEEN I DON'T WANNA CRY
I really love Shinee and Super Junior and they're still together and making music currently so they have their old school stuff and then their newer stuff for comparison.
Omg the "RICKYYYYY" caught off guard, I laughed so hard hahahaha. Thank you for that ❤
Man, rewatching these videos with y’all just reminds me of how fucking SMOOTH their dancing and transitions are. Y’all should check out Seo Taiji amd the Boys. BTS did a remake of one of their songs and performed with Seo Taiji onstage for his 25th Anniversary concert. It was epic!
Check out TVXQ-Mirotic for old school.
Old school is Ringa by Taeyang. Vid choreographer is the one who did Rhianna’s Super Bowl
I'm checking out your reactions in a chronological order (oldest first), so once I'm done, I'll give you a list of recommendations :D
Btw love your reactions
Yessss there is a making the video for this haha please watch! Everything was real! Even that huge block of ice!
Sometime you should watch the Keone Madrid submission for FIRE, ......ua-cam.com/video/p47gpTYwqB4/v-deo.html
then check out the BTS Dance Practice for it. ........ua-cam.com/video/sWuYspuN6U8/v-deo.html
Awesome!
Here is DANGER:
ua-cam.com/video/vJwHIpEogEY/v-deo.html
Next is I NEED U Dance Practice:
ua-cam.com/video/hvUZb9NT7EY/v-deo.html
Just check out the intricate dance moves, the level of difficulty and the synchronization!
(He is my Bias, by the way!!)
Watch these Dance Practices:
NO MORE DREAM
WE ARE BULLETPROOF PART 2
N.O
BOY IN LUV
At this point, you will be pretty well-versed in BTS!!
Good luck!
And for girl groups, check out 2NE1's Fire, I Don't Care, I Am The Best, Lonely, Falling in Love, Come Back Home and their final song, Goodbye
Love your reaction! Thank you! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Edit: sorry in advance the moment i started typing i couldn't stop lol
about the Korean music industry:
they don't just make songs they manufacture them. entertainment companies most of the time make the music, lyrics and videos for the singers (hire the right people and so on). the singers and groups are under contract by those companies who decide for them what they do where they go and in what way. and those singers join that company they are in, at a very young age and have (supported by the company) years of learning and practicing dancing, singing, camera readiness and everything needed to become a star. at the end of all this they are hand picked from dozens and sometimes hundreds of trainees of said company to join a group that will debut. each group does many styles of music, and many songs have many styles of genres.
the idols themselves are working on those dance moves and singing, many hours a day for many weeks if not months. both sides are dedicated but its important to note that most the time the end product (song, video, lyrics and more) belongs to the company and are only permitted to use by the singers).
also important to say on a final note: the companies work the idols hard but most of the time aren't tyrants and they do reward their singers if they work hard (again most of the time) and even more so if they get successful enough.
TL;DR - kpop groups and singers are backed up by major companies who invest in them for the long run years in advance.
that's why you see a huge production of video, dancing and everything else.
too many songs to recommend so i'll stick to one song per group and only few per generation:
old kpop:
DJ DOC - run to you
(90s kpop)
Seo Taiji and Boys - come back home
(90s kpop. fun fact: one of the singers of this group is a founder and CEO of YG entertainment which produces the big names like Blackpink and Psy, those are 2 names i think you know, and many many more)
modern kpop started mid 2000s to 2013. a few modern kpop groups each with many great songs:
super junior - sorry sorry
Brown Eyed Girls - Abracadabra
BigBang - Fantastic baby
Wonder girls - Tell me
SHINee - ring ding dong
2PM - Hands up
modern kpop as it is now (well now and past 4-5 years):
2NE1 - i am the best
Red velvet - bad boy
Girl's Generation - I got a boy
NCT 127 - Cherry bomb
Monsta X - Hero
sorry if a group wasn't in the list they were just random from the top of my head.
please react to dpr live's martini blue! it's unlike anything in kpop I've seen
💥90s to early 00s Artists💥
Seo Taji Come back home ,Shinhwa Perfect Man, Boa Girls on Top, Rain Love Song, TVXQ Mirotic, Wonder Girls So Hot, Lee Hyori U go Girl, Super Junior Sorry Sorry, Big Bang Haru Haru, Girls Generation Genie, Shinee Replay, 2pm Again, 2ne1 Fire
SS501 - Deja Vu
Afterschool - Bang
BoA - Only One + Hurricane Venus (released, probably around 2012)
Rain - Love Song
Kara - Lupin
Big Bang!!! Bang Bang Bang and Fantastic Baby!
This was one of the songs that got me hooked! Y'all already reacted to the other one (Mic Drop).
