RM murdered this track. 🔥 Here's why. 1) His word plays was a WHOLE diss. 2) The stutter was a STRAIGHT diss. There were people who came to them trying to apologize once they got famous while stuttering. He was mocking them by stuttering on purpose. 3) The frog in the well verse was clever AF.
Please react to Outro: Tear. Kendrick Lamar’s producer witnessed the rapline performing it live and said it was one of the best performances he had seen.
Fer 094 I believe it was one of their 4 Staples Center dates in September. Here’s the link of him saying it. twitter.com/teddywalton/status/1039000914026147841?s=21
Everytime RM just amazes me with his creativity not only in Korean, but in English too and of.course his voice and flow are everything to me. His part is my favorite in every cypher and almost every song.
I love RMs verse. Suga is my bias but RM's voice in this song just seems so unbothered. And that is just so hard, considering the whole message of the song. Lol!
How about *"Outro: Tear"* or *"Silver spoon (Baepsae)"* now? Silver spoon also has explaining vlog by David! Frankly, even *the beat* is a *diss itself* . Yoongi produced it and it was very likely a message to those who said BTS got westernized. Personally, I think the song was written after Mic Drop, the only song they've rapped in english. It must have pissed off the Korean frogs. There's 4 Cyphers, Cypher 5 is very probably Mic Drop - as the last track with the high point of their flex, containing all the members. They sing: *"Don't need to see each other again, this is my last goodbye. Nothing more left to say, don’t even apologize"* Which seems to be their last message. Cypher pt1 Cypher pt2: Triptych Cypher pt3: Killer Cypher 4 Mic Drop DDaeng ^ all open diss tracks
@Not-A QT Both subjectively and objectively, BTS is not not getting westernized. It would be about their customs and music's vibe. They've been producing universal music and flexing on western achievements - in 2017 it became a problem to haters, so I'm glad in 2018 they're presenting Korean roots basically in every special intro performance, not to mention traditional elements and music tracks, such as DDaeng and IDOL
Ddaeng live is my life. Namjoonie (RM) is a real lyrical genius in my opinion. He uses word plays, double meanings and I recognize construction techniques in his verses that also appear in ancient Latin writings. On top of all that, he makes it cohesive and pleasant to the ear. To me, he truly proves his genius in verses like this. It also shows that he reads a lot and thinks carefully about everything! (Not saying that others don’t, ofcourse)
Suga is the spirit of the rap line, J-Hope is the groove of the rap line, and RM is the cerebral assassin of the rap line. My favorite part of the song was RM's stuttering, and how he came on the track cool as fuck after Hope and Suga flamed it. They needed to be hot so that he could be extra cool.
Is anyone going to talk about RMs stuttering part? Correct me if I'm wrong I thought I saw that it was like mocking all the fake people who come up to them now all shy and stuttering telling them how much they love them Idk But this song is🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I feel like jhope is always the underrated rapper in bts. Most of his verses aren’t amazing in their cyphers but his hope world mixtape is amazing! Hopefully you can react to it! Especially verse1
jhope is really not underrated at all lol. on spotify, he has more followers than the other rapper and he always has the most addictive verse in bts song. even Namjoon sid that Jhope is the king of hooks.
i LOVED the fact that you reacted to the song first and then watched the video explanation of the song. great job guys!! i agree with you , for me RM part snapped it; when i listen to the song i can't wait rm's part to come but the part that hype so much is Jhope's at the beginning. but also suga part is very hyping. all 3 are amazing. Rm really did here AmAzInG!!🔥🔥
Rm is my favorite verse because he show us a rap flow he never used before and that was really cool to heard 🤗 his part it’s really pleasant to listen ❤️
DDAENG was used in so many ways in this song like a wordplay. It could mean: -wrong/incorrect -the sound of the bell -perfect/good bet (the highest number combinations in the korean traditional gambling card game) -sudden realization -ddaeng was also used to rhyme like everyTHANG etc
Ddaeng is fire. Lmao my guy friend doesnt like BTS. He hates it when i talk about them. One Day i was there he texted me that he heard a BTS song and hes in love. I asked him what song he said it starts with a D. So i sent him DDaeng and DNA and he was like yhh thats the song(Ddaeng). Apparently someone was playing it and he heard it.....he just instantly loved the song. lmaoo i think thats the only BTS song in his playlist.
outro: tear!!! is another rapline song. it's not considered a cypher but it's a masterpiece. i also highly recommend Silver Spoon (bapsae) which also has an explanation video by david :)
This is my favorite rap line song, and I'm so glad you did the explanation video too! And the live version is totally lit. Thank you for finally reacting to it!
Love that you guys watched the explanation vid right after! Its totally needed for that song, and its cool you guys trusted the fans letting you know. 💜
You are with no doubt my favorite react channel, you watch, comment and give a total review in a genuine and nice manner. No over the top acting or unnecessary sounds. Subscribed for sure!
I looove your reaction and you even checked out that explanation video to better understand the lyrics💖!! I also think RM’s part is the best in this song. It gives me chills whenever I hear him calmly roasting the haters with his savage lyrics. I too want to see you guys’ reaction to Outro:tear. Thanx again!!
Thank you for not yelling through the song and missing all the good points out like some other reactors do. And I loved how you looked up the explanation after listening to the track. Subscribed!!!
This was a very good reaction/review, and as another comment said, Suga produced the song which is worth noting! There aren't any more cyphers, but you might want to listen to the rap line songs Outro: Her (also produced by Suga) and Outro: Tear. In addition to those, I also strongly recommend the rap line's individual mixtapes: Agust D from Suga, RM and Mono from RM, and Hope World from J-Hope.
Great reaction as always. OUTRO: TEAR I did skip the explanation part because I have a lot of..."issues" when it comes to how things are explained to me. OUTRO: TEAR I can get turned off if I feel things were over explained (I know, it's weird and I'm working on it) so I just googled the references I didn't understand. OUTRO: TEAR RM's verse is just nasty. He really killed his haters softly with that one. OUTRO: TEAR Se ya next time! OUTRO: TEAR **especially if you really want to hear J-Hope go off**
RM's verse is just on another level. From his multiple uses of "ddaeng", to the stutter, to his calm delivery telling haters to die not knowing the larger world, he is a lyrical genius. There's a reason why he was known as Rap Monster.
this track my most favourite from BTS rapline, which is tough when there's many to choose from. I think this really highlights their cleverness and wholesomeness; they don't need to sink to the gutter to get one over their haters. RM's verse is the best which is saying something coz J-hope and Suga had great verses. But that ASMR vibe he got going on (that he explores further in "Mono") along with the fantastic wordplay, this is what takes him to that next level. which is pretty much his whole bag, so yeah. Peace.
Thank you so much for reacting to both videos really shows that you read all our comments!!!! I really like watching your reactions. I hope you will check out Outro: Tear next.
Thanks for reacting to this! It’s always interesting to see westerners react to very east Asian rap. RM killed it. If you ever want to try Japanese rap or rnb, do check out m-flo and chemistry. They are very good.
THANK YOU for reacting to DDAENG 🙏🏼 To add to RM’s verse, I think I heard that his use of stuttering throughout his verse was to mimic the manner in which people who previously had put them down as artists, later tried to apologize thus their use of stuttering
I'm so pleased that you watched the "explained by" video as well. That was very respectful. About the "other Cypher": some people consider Outro: Tear to be a Cypher, but I don't really see why because it's really different to the Cyphers (other than it's only the rappers in the song). You should definitely listen to it, though - it's amazing.
This is so cool that you watched the explanation and I could watch it with you and learn about how creative this song is. I love RM part that beat.... ddaeng
This is why BTS is so popular because they do these things. Even in their other music. That's why it's always good to study their songs to actually understand them bc there's way more to it than meets the eye. Thanks for listening to Ddaeng!
I love you guys to bits! I really need you guys to watch some of their dance practices (even if you don't do a video for them). Danger, Boy in Love, Fire, and Dope are my faves. You wanna talk about footwork??
I believe this is the end of the Cyphers aka diss-tracks. Another you might have seen is a skit from their first ever release. It's called - Outro: Circle Room Cypher - and all of the members try improvising on the beat that Suga produced. It's hilarious, totally recommend - it shows their great relationship. Rap-line have other songs in BTS discography, one of the most mentioned is - Outro: TEAR - in my personal opinion it is a masterpiece. If you are interested in BTS rappers' solos, I 100% recommend: J-Hope's mixtape "HOPE WORLD" - "Base Line" and "Blue Side" are my favorites, but songs with MVs "DAYDREAM" and "Airplane" (the original, that was a base for BTS song "Airplane Pt. 2") are excellent too. All of the songs are produced by J-Hope with Supreme Boi's help. SUGA's mixtape "AGUST D" - the whole album is straight hip-hop. Most of the songs are produced by SUGA (I believe "Intro: Dt sugA" and "AGUST D" were sampled so they are only available on Soundcloud). "The Last" is a very emotional song, bc it full of painful truth and raw emotions. My personal favorite is "Far Away" feat. SURAN (or special edition with Jin and Jungkook). You have already reacted to a lot of RM's songs. But I will say that his first mixtape was pretty rough and it is worth a listen bc of excellent lyricism. I also suggest, maybe you guys would review BTS older albums that are amazing and I feel nostalgic even thinking about them. I still can't choose my favorite album. My first album was WINGS, but than I got back to The Most Beautiful Moment in Life series and Part 2 really stood out to me. I would love to see what you guys think about each of them. I recommend reacting chronologically (oldest - newest or newest - oldest). I recommend whole albums and not just songs, bc masterpiece that is "Whalien 52", means so much more in context of a whole album. And when you hear all the solo songs on WINGS/YNWA it is completely different feeling than hearing them separately. I hope you guys enjoy those reactions as much as we do ^_^ Take care!
Glad you enjoyed that. BTS's songs really invite you to get to know their culture. For fun, the live version features V (who wants to be a rapper SO BADLY) being unable to contain himself. He jumps in part way and dances around the rap line, just enjoying the moment.
I wonder if we should find the link for them because one of the color coded lyric videos has errors. I can never remember which one until I watch it though.
When this dropped I was SHOOKETH! Everyone KILLT this, ontop of which they included their roots. Tbh RM TOOK THIS and stepped on my neck. This super SLAPS live 😩 There's more rapline songs(if not yall correct me) like Outro: Tear from the LoveYourself: Tear album
Thank you gentlemen! Of course like everyone else I recommend Tear Outro... It is the Cypher of the Tear Album but labeled as the outro. It is my favorite of all of them. Very emotional and the flows are killer. J-hope takes it for me. Have a good weekend. Peace
There is no more cyphers but I would really like if you could listen to the solo music of the rappers. And also listen to so far away by Augst D it’s amazing song. Love y’all a reactions btw
YASS I'VE BEEN WAITING Also, I think it would be really cool if you reacted to "Baepsae" (or Silver Spoon) by BTS and also to DKDKTV's explained by a Korean of that song. Baepsae remains as BTS' most political song, and it's a fan favorite bcs it's just dope af.
Last part of the song always the best. Their rap songs always progresses like that. The appetizer, main course, and dessert. And the dessert always the best in Cypher 1-4, ddaeng, outro tear
The purposeful stuttering RM did in his verse is what makes it my favorite
For real it was like my religion. I'm a bit sad it wasn't discussed in the video
TrulyTaekook same. I feel things...
YES
SAME
I'm Suga biased and I loved his verse but I agree, Namjoon's purposeful stutter made his verse my favorite here.
RM TOOK this LOL. Just LOVE the unexpected calmness, ESPECIALLY the stutter.
i see what you did there!
I never knew #2 but this is so awesome
Please react to Outro: Tear. Kendrick Lamar’s producer witnessed the rapline performing it live and said it was one of the best performances he had seen.
yaaaaas i hope they react to the lyrics video then watch the live stage too

I don't know why but my favorite part is when RM stutters. RM kills it😊
Same
FINALLY. Suga produced this Btw😁 and btw ITS FIREEEEE LIVE I highly recommend you to watch it live
Samantha Hall The bits and pieces we saw during the explanation looked fire. 🔥
They al had a hand in producing
all 3 of them had a hand in the production together and each member wrote their own parts
jiyeong did
Wrong. They all produced this track and wrote their own verses.
How about *"Outro: Tear"* or *"Silver spoon (Baepsae)"* now? Silver spoon also has explaining vlog by David!
Frankly, even *the beat* is a *diss itself* . Yoongi produced it and it was very likely a message to those who said BTS got westernized.

Yes silver spoon/baepsae/try hard is SO good musically and and lyrically!

@Nilly K
If you go by this, there's at least 23 other diss songs. Airplane pt2 isn't essentionally a diss track
Ddaeng live is my life.
Namjoonie (RM) is a real lyrical genius in my opinion. He uses word plays, double meanings and I recognize construction techniques in his verses that also appear in ancient Latin writings. Namjoon snapped. That's it. His play words always really good tho. Maybe that's why his lyrics mostly use for BTS by BH
BTS are smart AF. there are like 7-8 different meanings to the lyrics. That beat go hard tho. It’s better live 4 sure.
tea, RM's verse alone has 7
RM KILLED IT
pLEASE REACT TO SILVER SPOON AND IT EXPLANATION
Omg! yes Baepsae is my jam!
UP
*RM killed it!*
His flow,word,voice, everything is dope.
Please do bts “outro: tear” and agust d “the last”
Waiting for these sooo much!!

There is no more Cypher but please react to Outro : Tear
Thanks 💜💜💜
yaaaaas
Yes
You guys did a great job, esp adding the 2nd video to explain what the word ddaeng means. Love all the reactions
Nancie M Thanks! 🙏🏽
Loved how RM almost whispered his rap for me it was the best and yes Outro: Tear is a must listen. It's amazing. My fave on that particular album.
DDAENG was used in so many ways in this song like a wordplay. It could mean:
-wrong/incorrect
-the sound of the bell
-perfect/good bet (the highest number combinations in the korean traditional gambling card game)
-sudden realization
-ddaeng was also used to rhyme like everyTHANG etc
RM won this there is this UA-cam channel Dkdktv they are explaining the lyrics and RM killed it
Outro: Tear is not titled a cypher but it is a rap line song and in my opinion and a lot of other fans, it’s better than all the Cyphers.
YES omg I love it!!! thanks for the reaction!!! AND you did the explanation in the same sitting?? a girl couldn't be happier right now!!

"Outro: tear" its another bts rapline song, its not a cypher but its just the rapline just like ddaeng
Lmao RM’s part near the end is like the perfect ASMR
I;m super glad that you took the time to learn the meaning behind, makes it more special!
My favorite from Suga's mixtape is So far away /ft Suran.
Circle Room Cypher
Thanks for doing the explain video as well!!! it's such an AMEZING MASTER PIECE
Yaaaaassssss. Such deep meaning. Dope reaction!
THANK YOU FOR REACTING TO THIS!!✨💜✨
You guys are chill as all can be. Really enjoyed your take on ddaeng!
YASS I'VE BEEN WAITING
Also, I think it would be really cool if you reacted to "Baepsae" (or Silver Spoon) by BTS and also to DKDKTV's explained by a Korean of that song.
Baepsae remains as BTS' most political song, and it's a fan favorite bcs it's just dope af.
THANK YOU for reacting to both the song and the explanation of the song!
Please react to their Cyphers Live Preformance
definitely do 'BTS- Silver Spoon/Baepsae' it also has a explaination. love that u react to their song first then the explaination.
Last part of the song always the best. Their rap songs always progresses like that. The appetizer, main course, and dessert. And the dessert always the best in Cypher 1-4, ddaeng, outro tear
RM is vety very very & I mean VERY smart. With sn IQ of 148 he is the master of word play and thats what he did in this diss track.
Enjoyed the reaction so much. If you're looking for more tracks to react to, I highly recommend Tiger JK - Timeless(feat RM). That song is fireee
showing love for you three! thanks for researching this song. shows me a next level interest for kpop from you guys.
This was produced by The Genius Suga.React to AGUST D-AGUST D🔥🔥
Agree although all 3 were amazing as always , RM kill it ,,,
The word play in this is SICK! They are so unbelievably talented!
