- The White House is warning that a Russian attack on Ukraine may be imminent.
After a huge build up of Russian troops near the Ukrainian border, American officials say Moscow now has the capability to launch a major military operation, including an attack on the capital Kyiv.
Moscow has practically encircled its smaller neighbour, with close to 130,000 troops. It says they are carrying out training exercises and maintains no invasion is being planned.
Diplomatic efforts are continuing to defuse the crisis.

Edit: this is a joke btw. I honestly hope that war wont happen since I cant grasp the idea of a world war happening in our lifetime and hopefully media is exaggerating things. I dont know since Im not seeing first hand what the situation is on the ground. And this is just my opinion. But I do think the US is itching for one since if you'll look into the previous WW the US has benefited the most. Before WW1 US was not even considered a major power, after it all of a sudden a powerhouse. Then great depression happened economy collapsed then few years later boom WW2 errupted. Profited a lot through selling arms and supplies. After WW2 undisputed world leader and largest economy. And currently with the pandemic and the economy struggling a bit w/ national debt rising and China challenging them for world supremacy. Maybe they are rooting for things to escalate to profit from arms deal again and hoping China would join so they can crush them and put them back into place. And the funny thing is I noticed the US has stuck with the same strategy, let the Europeans duke it out first and beat the hell out of each other and come in late as the savior. But this is just me overthinking things. I really do hope that is not the case this time. 🤔😅
