    Hello Sir,
I always have a huge pleasure watching your videos, you take the time to explain your diagnosis, it's very appreciable!
In addition, you light my lantern very often, I don't come from the same field.
I come from transport and I have changed direction for more than a year.
Today, You have just explained a principle that is not easily found on inductors: they cannot be zero.
And to understand a short circuit, it's important. I learn alone and you are one of my main sources of inspiration.
Thank you again for sharing, hoping that we can still benefit from your knowledge and experience.
    Thank you very much.
    Sincerely!
    Ceddine from France 🇫🇷

A good example of how knowing what the components are used for can help you find problems. Alex knew that inductors are not used with a connection to ground at all times, and so was able to find a fault.

people have no appreciation for how small those parts are, the tiny resistors are the size of a flea under the microscope. BGA was just starting when I was a bench tech, back then as a ISO2001 certified tech I could remove and replace an IBM 601 processor on an apple motherboard in 15 minutes from the IR fine pitch removal to hand soldering the 255 pin processor back on the PCBA. This guy is amazing considering the parts are as small as bugs on the PC board.

I can't stress enough how important it is to maintain a schedule of backing up data on all devices (computers, phones, tablets, and so on) that store data. I use a Wondershare product to back up my phones & tablets and there are other products available for this. A hard drive is more reliable than an SSD for extended storage times and never ever leave the backup hard drive connected once a backup is completed. Store that hard drive in an inexpensive fire-resistant lock box. With this protocol, I haven't lost data when using this system in the past 20 years. I keep my master data on one main computer and copy that data on to two other laptops for safe keeping. I then periodically back the main computer's data to the hard drive a couple of times a year that's only connected while backing up data.

Hope you find some time and answer it. Thank you for all the teaching you do.. I was able to safely open iPad Pro 10.5, swap screen, touch id, camera and a working motherboard. I basically took 3 broken iPad Pros and made it into 2 working ones. Thinking to order diodes, coils and learn micro soldering on the defective motherboard. I got back all the money I made as investment and this broken motherboard would be free to learn spare part.
