I can't even put into words what that day will be like when I'm finally in heaven in the presence of my Almighty God! I will no longer have the fear of seizures along with other brain issues and the deficiencies on my left side (arm, hand, leg and foot) no more problems using those limbs, no more limping, no more scars from brain surgeries. I praise You Oh Holy Lord for sparing my life and through your perfect Holy Spirit, making me the man I am today, saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, full of faith by Your glorious grace. Thank You, Father! I long for that day when I shall see all of heaven illuminated by Your shining glory as I worship at the feet of my perfect Savior!

In the Old Testament, restrictions were placed on priests with physical defects, but Jesus ushered inclusivity in the New Testament. It's a journey of understanding God's grace and evolving societal perspectives.

The ailments or sickness of men in the old testament was most likely used as symbolism of sin. The same was done with lambs and bull sacrifices. Jesus is the lamb without blemish or defect. The perfect sacrifice.

People living with disability are not a symbolism of sin.
Your speculation seems umbiblical and would appear to go against the work of Jesus' ministry, which in fact displayed a duty of care for divine mercy towards people living with disability all throughout the New Testament.
      John 9:2-7
His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.
      2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

@@YoxxSHIxx With all due respect, I am not misrepresenting anything, people living with disability are not a symbolism for sin.
      Isaiah 53:4
"Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted."
Knowing that Jesus is perfect in every way, the Son of God is most certainly not a representation of sin, Jesus is the cure for sin.
In fact, Lord Jesus Christ shows us God's will towards those living with disability that love God.
So please do not demonise them.

@@loveunlimited777 Im not diminishing Christ. He made the blind, the mute and the dumb. I'm not saying that having a disability is sin in itself. The point i was trying to make what that people who where lame or had a physical ailment In the old testament where used as allegorical or metaphorical symbolism. Why else would they have these passages in the old testament. Instead of deflecting what the Bible says why not try to deal with it. People have real questions and we need to study and be prepared to answer questions. Jesus himself healed those with physical ailments and disabilities, but in the case of the Torah, we need to use proper hermeneutics to see what the application of the scripture is. I honestly feel misrepresented here and would appreciate if you would reconsider what my point is about the previous passages.

  • @loveunlimited777

Maybe God loving people living with disability are excluded from being subject to the wages of sin. And grace is given to them so they may be overcomers, and people that assist them are aligning to the true ministry of Jesus and glorifying God in doing so.
For example, being oppressed by religious legallism is probably not a reasonable burden for someone struggling in a wheelchair through no fault of their own, due to the reality that they're too pre-occupied with trying to survive and make some semblance of a normal life in society.
Seems the righteous thing to do.

Jesus is the one that says "when you visited someone in prison, you did it for me" What many fail to grasp is that Jesus is in that moment telling us to go show rapists, killers and homosexuals love and generosity. To be merciful of what they have done as our salvation is not more valid than the next man who repents and receives Yeshua as Lord and Savior. This is not to say we should not witness what they have done in all its ugliness and be angry, if we are not furious then we seek not righteousness but as a forgiven sinner we are called to rise above their sin. They are a human being made in the image of God and they need His love more than anyone.

I'm disabled as well but you simply misunderstand what was being done. After all, the Bible did predict many people will be offended in later times (Matthew 24:10 but I suggest reading the whole chapter and you WILL see how much is true today). I read the video's passage. I actually didn't get offended. In the old testament, many things appear "evil" but God had to give physical examples before spiritual (aka new testament). This passage relates to "setting apart" in which deformity/impurity represents sin. That's why when it came down to atonement sacrifice, they couldn't use blemished animals.
Today, it isn't necessary because Jesus died for our sins ((1) as the old testament sacrifice and 2) He was God and human (human to understand and experience our issues and nature to make s complete blueprint for us) but didn't sin aka was the perfect sacrifice)) and made us new creatures in Him if we chose to recieve the Holy Spirit and trust what His word (The Bible) says. When you can understand that, it will be no reason to blame God and remain bitter.
He promises us new bodies when all of the continuous undoubtedly accurate prophecies finishes. Also, the whole passage wasn't about how unclean disabled people are. It was about qualifications for Aron and his sons as being in a head position; in which, they had a lot of responsibility and qualifications for image purposes. It even mentions the type of women he couldn't marry (divorced, widowed, harlots, etc). They needed to represent "perfection" to replicate what is God and our relationship to Him.
At the same time, all of the old testament was to tell us that no matter how many rules and physical things we are directly given to execute by God himself, it simply won't work because the new testament abstract components are missing: "faith without works is dead"(James 2:14-26). The entirety of that passage basically states they are complimentary hence, work without faith will get you nowhere spiritually and is also dead (verse 26). So, law and abstracts work side by side under God but sometimes one outweighs the other. Jesus's law of love/charity encompasses all of that 😀🤗💕.
Denominations of Christianity is the "religious" part like Catholicism because of ritual. You building a personal relationship with Christ and trying to truly know the Lord isn't a religion. It is the life choice of truth that isn't sugar coated to make us passively feel better. Knowing these prophecies have come true and are still coming true lets me know that proof of everything the Bible says 😌

You shall not curse the deaf or put a stumbling block before the blind, but you shall fear your God: I am the Lord. LEVITICUS 19:14 keep reading. This is a law as well.

God loves the disabled as well, some of the old testament laws had Metaphorical or spiritual meanings behind them. Mephibosbeth the son of Saul sat at the kings table(David). A man of noble and honorable character who was lame in the feet according to 2nd Samuel. There are spiritual and natural applications to reading the Bible. The Torah isn't saying that God hates disabled people, in fact He claimed to be the creator of said people when He was speaking to Moses. Not to mention all men and women are made in the likeness of God(imago dei).

Jesus Christ is the only perfect Priest able to enter God's perfect presence. In the OT, a high priest could only enter once a year, and MUST bring blood to atone for his own sins. But Jesus Christ, the unblemished Lamb of God presented His own perfect blood on our behalf. In other words, ONLY JESUS CHRIST was perfect enough to approach God. AND because He offered His own blood, we who receive His gift by faith - the blemished - are declared righteous and holy and can come boldly into His Presence by the Blood of the Perfect Lamb, our Great High Priest.
    Heb 9:11-15
    (11) But when Christ appeared as a High Priest of the good things that have come, then through the greater and more perfect tent (not made with hands, that is, not of this creation)
    (12) He entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of His Own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption.
    (13) For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the sprinkling of defiled persons with the ashes of a heifer, sanctify for the purification of the flesh,
    (14) how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.
    (15) Therefore He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.

When the Bible is condemning something Christian’s love to hate, they take it as the literal word of God. When the Bible condones something everyone knows is morally wrong, they have to use apologetics and mental gymnastics to try and defend it.

I strongly guess that God uses the term "blemish" as a pictural expression of sin and lawlessness, not of disability, as he himself decides who comes to life with a disability and who will not. We mustn't forget that any disability is restricted to earthly life and will only affect earthly life. In God's kingdom no disability will exist, because you get an incurruptible body there. Furthermore is to remember, that, from God's holy perspective, disability doesn't exist, as we define it. In front of God, a physically blind person is not disabled, but a spiritually blind person is. So, the lame, blind, deaf or "mentally disabled" are not impaired in God's view, unless they consciously commit sins. In that case, their sin is their disability, instead of their health condition. Note: In this world, disability is, in fact defined by the extent you can take part in economic life. This means if you can stand the pressure of doing (sometimes hard) work five or six days a week, how you can cope conflicts (that mostly arise from injustice), and to which extent you fit into the society (the devil is the prince of the world). A quadruplegic person can still serve God by staying in faith and praying, while they hardly can serve the society in a "normal" way. However, if anyone is supported suffiently, they can even be famous, despite their impairment. The best example is Steven Hawkins.

We are ALL sinners that fall short of the glory of God. And we ALL are deserving of eternal punishment in hell because sin is so serious (sin is evil and it is the cause of all pain, death, and suffering). And that’s why Jesus suffered soooo much for us, and that’s why He died on the cross for ALL our sins (past, present, AND future sins) and rose from the dead 3 days later! Jesus did all this because He loves us sooooo much, you can’t even fully comprehend it! And you may have eternal life with Him if you repent (to change your mind about Jesus, to believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord our God) and have faith in Him, then you will be saved! (Let’s make it clear that being a good person WILL NOT get you into Heaven! You can only be saved by the grace God will show you, if you repent and have faith in Jesus and in what Jesus did for us on the cross and that He rose from the dead 3 days after He died for us! ONLY THEN, will you will be saved)! And do not wait because you do not know when you will die (sit and think deeply about that. You have NO CLUE when you will die! Today could be your last day, tonight could be your last night. You can die in your sleep or even in the next hour!) Im saying all this because I want you to realize how urgent and important it is to have Jesus! If you have Jesus, you will NEVER have to worry! You won’t have to worry about school, family problems, life, or EVEN DEATH because you will have the LORD your GOD, RIGHT BY YOUR SIDE, EVERY SINGLE DAY, EVERY SINGLE HOUR, EVER SINGLE MINUTE and EVERY SINGLE SECOND of your life! GOD can help you through ANY challenge, through ANY hardship, and through ANY depressing time in your life! GOD WILL NEVER leave you, GOD WILL NEVER forget about you, GOD WILL NEVER betray you, GOD WILL NEVER forsake you, and GOD WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!! And that is why GOD is calling you RIGHT NOW to be saved!!
