Ironic isn't it? At a time when the running back position is universally devalued across the league, the NFL puts out an hour long video of some of the greatest runs in NFL history.
I came to the comments to say this. 😢
Because they are scumbags, and these people know how to use a distraction.
It's a farewell video for the position 😅
ironic isnt the word i'd use
intentional
I think it’s their way of showing support to running backs
I appreciate the person who took the time to dig thru all of the archives to find all these fantastic running plays.
On the other side, the majority of people who watched this vid would take that job over their own😂
@repentandbelieveinJesusChrist9bot
Your welcome
@@jonasb6440Heck, yeah. Most of us would! How cool would that be!?
He gets paid to do this.
That Derrick Henry run at the beginning 🔥
Jag’s defense for ya
That was awesome
Awful commentating though.
99!
A man amongst boys. #KINGHENRY #TITANUP ⚔️
Whoever actually watches every second of this deserves season tickets for the rest of their life
I watched every time minute of it just like every other video that they be making over an hour
@@Kings0424it hasn’t even been uploaded for half the length of the video lol
@@RFN22 Well it says an whole hour
@@Kings0424How u watching an hour long video in 30 minutes
@flareon6472 Bruh the title says "60 minutes" that's an hour bro
That Derrick Henry run at the beginning put so many fantasy teams in the playoffs
What's crazy about the Derrick Henry run is that he managed to do all of that and still get to the end zone in 18 seconds.
People act like anyone in the NFL can do that man.
That Derrick Henry run to start this video off is perfect good lord he bullied those defenders 😂
Early 2000's was special.

Damn I didn’t realize that damn every team had a good rb
And emmitt was 3 years from the title
Bruh that stiff arm is henrys superpower lmao
You could do 60 minutes of Earl Campbell dominating runs.
And Barry sanders too. Man they were some Elusive tanks
Hell yeah
Marshawn Lynch against Arizona was an impeccable run
Beastquake v2. Dude's a literal beast.
God, I miss football so much. Well, at least we only have just a couple more months left until it finally returns. Until then, we gotta be patient and enjoy this moment while it lasts.
This has me hyped AF for the NFL season
college better
@@quawrld_5016where they don’t defend?
I can't wait for the season myself lol
@@erictapia1772 defend what?
@@quawrld_5016run game is 10x easier than the pro league
The whole falcons team couldn’t stop Emmit Smith at 8:34 😂😂
Jim Brown, Adrian Peterson, and Barry Sanders were transcendent.
I miss that era of running backs
What era? This is all of them
@@KiloMafia9use your brain, clearly the era of bigger more powerful backs. Now it's about RB hybrids damn near
@@MuckNoyathat makes no sense there’s multiple different eras with multiple different rb types in them. Saying the one with bigger more powerful back is not only misleading, but also can apply to like every era. However just because passing is more in vogue now doesn’t mean there was a singular era of football before. People don’t look at like 1919-2010 (pre-modern, running era) then 2010-present (modern, passing era). So telling him to use his brain on fairly vague statement unnecessarily rude.
@@xThat1Guyxx you're just slow
@@MuckNoya bro?
Earl Campbell and Walter Payton were absolute beasts!
Man, I wish Gus Johnson was still calling NFL games!
The irony in the upload time of these runs and RB contract’s currently
earl campbell and walter payton are my favorite nfl childhood memories. honorable mention to herschel walker and lawrence phillips for ncaa memories.
Love Chris and gus Johnson
Cam Newton is so graceful. He looks like a literal gazelle when he runs. 😂😂😂
Earl Campbell running is how I aim to run through life
Nice to see the multiple Fred Taylor highlights. People forget how special of a runner he was.
Titans boutta own this list.
Wow NFL saw NFL Throwback post a 30 minute video of this and said "Hold this stiff arm"
I loved the editing of this the stories that were kept together like record breaking and huge trucks amazing jukes hurdles quarterbacks spun in the air into the endzone beautifully done
Exactly what we needed
60 minutes of glory!
I'm glad they showed footage from the old days, since usually those videos with the all time in the title don't have footage older than the 2000s.
Reggie's cuts are just a thing of beauty
Where the hell is Nick Chubb at
And Jim brown? The browns RB hate is wild
@@MilitaryHistory1939They got plenty of Jim Brown runs but they should definitely have a run or 2 from Chubb.
He's at home now
54:59
It's almost that time!!
This is awesome.. football can't get here soon enough!
Man I remember falling in love with football when I was about 7 watching Earl Campbell and Tony Dorsett and Walter Payton….Of course I loved watching all the great players but those three at the age I started paying attention might as well have been superheroes to me.
Earl Campbell did it for me too
Sanders, Sweetness, AP, Tomlinson... Absolute domination out there.
S/o to my man A-Train, as well. 💥💥💥
Great moments and memories!
2:34 I alwaysss see this run from Marshawn Lynch often and still ALWAYS say DAMN that was some GOOD footwork through those gaps bro
Titanup ❤
“That goes in the books as a 2 Yard Run” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Damnnn that run at 8:30, how must he felt having 8 opposing team members looking at you in a circle and making it out of that lmaoooo
11 ads in the first 6 minutes of the videos, this has to be a record
get an adblocker, youtube is unwatchable without one
The play at 0:56 makes me nostalgic as hell. The big shoulder pads, the minimalist scoreboard - I feel like I’m 8-years-old sitting on my living room floor again.
It was nice in 2021, wasn't it?
Football is right around the corner people we are almost there
Thank you NFL I hate the off-season especially when NBA & NFL got the same offseason ughh
I love that the Derrick Henry you get to watch in the NFL is the same Derrick Henry you did NOT want to see running towards you at Alabama. So proud to have seen him at Bama
Respect
this was made to show running backs matter in the NFL
thank you admin
Man I can’t wait in till football starts
Love this video NFL Throwback! You should you a “you got mossed” compilation!
This isn’t nfl throwback
@@colinrichardson5577 Oh yeah your right lol, I’m so used to NFL Throwback making videos like this.
That earl Campbell run-over 🥶🥶🥶
Can't wait for football 💯🏈🏆💙 #keeppounding
I been waiting for 10-15yrs
I don't what this is in 2023 but its barely football
That Reggie Bush run was crazy 😜
My man, King Henry
That Derrick Henry run in the beginning looks like the biggest kid on the field in a high school game. They just can’t touch him.
Oh, they touched him, before getting thrown to the ground.
Titans/oilers might have the best rb room of all time. Earl, Eddie, CJ, Henry
I miss football can't wait until September 😔
I can watch Barry sanders highlights all day. He was an and I mixtape.
Best thing ever!!! Good job
51:29 will always live in my memory, the bus carrying the team to Super Bowl 40
Good memories ❤
It’s crazy to see the NFL promoting the running game. They’ve done everything in their power to diminish this great aspect of football.
Really ironic with the recent moves this off-season
@@lukedroI don’t really follow nfl news, what change did they make
@@mattsornat1256RB Saquon & Josh Jacobs weren’t offered big contracts this offseason, which was surprising to everyone since they were integral parts to their teams. Following a trend that as RB’s get older, they don’t get max deals, even though they risk their bodies every single play for the team. Furthermore, on average several RBs aren’t getting paid enough, most Kickers are getting paid more than starting RBs and that’s laughable given how tough RBs are and the sacrifice they put in day in and day out. This news came out earlier this week, creating a stir in the football community on how RBs should be respected and paid properly
That’s an absolutely false and idiotic statement. Shed a tear for the superstar RB who lost his contract leverage to the committee, but the running game is still thriving in the league.
@@lagunasjrpedroshould running backs be paid more than kickers based on what they do? Yeah for sure. The problem is there’s just so many quality running backs in the nfl and in the draft every year it doesn’t make any financial sense, especially when you have to beat them into the ground to get a good ROI.
As a bengals fan, watching that Lamar spin move kills me every time lol
I did not grow up with this sport as I am from India and with all the wildlife we have, I have only seen two species that can change their motion midair, cheetah and langoor. So, the craziest thing to me is some of these players rolling into the tackles to change/accelerate their motion in air and land on their feet, these are some super athletes.
That’s the beauty of it amidst the chaos. Have you started following any particular team?
13:35 the most unlikely, awkward, and least aerodynamic runner ever.😂🤣
Romo went from arguing the facemask call to taking out 3 dudes lmao 😂🔥
What a Great video! Can we just take a minute and acknowledge the linemen, that help make these amazing moments.
Actually sometimes they helped make these amazing moments by not blocking anyone 😂
The first run of this video is when Henry found his identity as a rb and ultimately became the player he is today. I remember him talking about it in an interview/docu where he was talking about how up to that point he wasn't running as a true power back but more as an elusive back trying to make cuts etc with his huge body. But that game was what helped him click and eventually rest was history. I believe the game was from 2018 vs the jags towards the end of the season
That's why I love football 🏈 ❤ 🔥
I’m 30 minutes in and haven’t seen a single Ricky Williams run. That dude led the league in rushing yards in the early 2000’s. He better show up a couple times in these highlights. Edit: 17 minutes left. Still no Ricky Williams and no Terrell Davis. How?
2nd edit. Finally 1 Ricky Williams and Terrell Davis run. A few players missing, but what a great video.
Yeah. I think there was one Walter Payton run. Really? Also OJ Simpson, I can understand why everyone hates him, but he was also an outstanding running back.
This is crazy 🔥🎯
Antwon Smith with the bills CRUSHED dude on raiders
God has Blessed them all
60 minutes of satisfaction
Crazy good runs. Barry Sanders was THE TRUTH!!!
For the record the Tennessee Titans franchise has more highlights on here than any other team. Best RB’s and running QB highlights ever!! #Titanup
I remember watching the game you see this clip from around 1:46-2:08 as if it were literally yesterday.
R.I.P., Marion "The Barbarian" Barber III.
Watched all 60 minutes of this, and I'd do it again.
There's nothing better in all of sports
"Oh, Earl Campbell is strong, he will put his shoulders... into your chest." - what an amazing piece of observational commentary lmao
Was waiting to see the Fridge… did not disappoint!
49ers need to bring back the black uniforms. They were clean as hell
"Antoine Smith breaks a tackle..."
Homie murdered a Raider
I wanted to see one of Franco's Super Bowl TD runs (he was MVP of SB IX). Also the Steelers had a fake punt against the Ravens one year that went for 75 yds and a TD I think. That would have been cool to say.
I was watching this and was wondering why haven't they shown a Harris run?
I don't know who puts these together, but they're missing quite a few.
Who ever was number 10 QB had another gear and you can tell by him separating from everyone who was trying to catch up.
So you just want more stillers in there is the complaint this time?
@@PAINTnPONG Nobody asked you, PP. Get a life!
Can you do 60 mins of one handed catches
I'm surprised that Joe Flacco's first career rushing touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals in week 1 of the 2008-2009 NFL season wasn't in this compilation.
Elite
Or Peyton Mannings bootleg run for a 1 yd TD. Legendary.
@@TyTimeIsAwesome- Speaking of which, I recently watched that play on UA-cam.
I completely forgot about that one--mainly because it was against the Dallas Cowboys during the 2013-2014 NFL season & the Dallas Cowboys are one of my other all-time favorite NFL teams, but, that's another story for another day...
Thank you for the memory refresher.
@@chrisuncleahmad- Thank you.
Sanders was something special
26:26 the TD before the immaculate reception
6:25 the original Joe Buck.
“Walter Payton, look at this kid play football” boy I wish I did. RIP sweetness. 🐐❤️
WHO LOVES watching a football game in the snow or when its raining
That derrick run and lamar run is crazy 😩
6:51 was the absolute sickest play
This is the content we need
it is a sin that not one LT highlight appears until 27 minutes in
u missed 2:08 and 20:56
Derrick Henry is too good
Man, hearing Pat Sumrall and John Madden on the call brings back memories
Fun, fun, fun!
Till Daddy takes the T-bird away
God bless you guys Always keep God first
That LJ8 spin move was just filthy. 3 Bengals went looking for religion while he went into the end zone.
