    My thoughts about how it performs as a plow are at the end of the video.
    I bought the Kolpin Switchblade ATV model because it is adjustable to 60" (perfect for the 50" ZForce) and it was on sale for $350! I got it mounted on the frame using a little bit of creativity and I'm happy about it's sturdiness. This little ZForce continues to do whatever I ask of it!

      @@nathangravel2883 It's been slow! I am making a video now, but had to combine some highlights from 3 different trips just to keep it interesting haha. I have Garmin Panoptix now, and I'm going with my wife on Tuesday. Stay tuned for some good ones (hopefully).

      It’s been slow for me too. I have caught lots of afternoon aggressive pike, but only a couple of walleyes each evening. It was quite slow when I went yesterday, it was -37 with the windchill! I so need the Otter XT Hideout, which I am buying next Christmas. Today is -48 in Sudbury!!! Extreme cold. I look forward to the next video. Quick question. Any tips toward walleye just sitting under my bait about half a foot and not biting? I was anoying how they would see the flutter of the spoon, come up, and I’d jig it again, and they’d be skiddish. If I jiggle it, they nip it, but never hit hard enough to set the hook. I use the custom jigs and spins slender spoon, amazing spoon with golden flash. What do you think?

      @@nathangravel2883 Are you tipping with a minnow? That would be my suggestion on those slow days, if not. It's happened to me a lot this year also. I try to use at least a minnow head on the hook when the bite is less aggressive, which is likely on those super cold days! Another option is to have a 2nd rod with a smaller spoon and a minnow on it, to drop it down quickly when it won't hit your first line. I like using the Lindy Rattl'n Flyer for that role. It works really well with a whole minnow on the hook. Sometimes they just want an easy piece of meat LOL. I use Rippin' Raps a lot and I have tipped with minnow head on the front treble, but I find it does change the action a bit so I'm not a huge fan.

    I would recommend plowing with it on an angle and work from one side to the other. Doing it the way you are, you are putting snow where you have already plowed. Then you have to make several more trips to clean it up. just push with it on an angle, back up and push again taking about 3/4 of a bite. This will keep all the snow going in one direction leaving a nice clean driveway. I have been doing this a long time, trust me. I hope to save you some time and a lot of back and forth. Good luck my friend and nice set up !!

    I’ve got the same zforce 500 and a cforce 800. Very well engineered machines. Good power, responsive, well designed and thought out over all. If you ever break that plow look for a Denali by Moto alliance. You can literally attach it to a Jeep it’s so thick and heavy duty, with that comes weight though, it’s at least 150-200lbs but worth every penny

    • @Idahoprepper71
      @Idahoprepper71 4 роки тому

      Tittle Diesel Performance LLC I totally agree about the Denali plow. I get about 11 ft of snow a year and it shows little wear after three years of plowing a 100 yard driveway

    How happy are you with CForce as a whole? How does it compare to your experience with Polaris (you mentioned you have/had a Sportsman?) in terms of overall build quality, dealer service etc?

    • @GuardianGrove
      @GuardianGrove  5 років тому

      This model is a "ZForce". Their ATVs are "CForce". I'm happy with CFMoto, the machine and the company. I would do it again, knowing what I know now. I have no regrets. The first Polaris I bought was a 2012 Sportsman HO and I had some problems with it stalling and not starting afterwards right from week 1 of ownership. I had it serviced under warranty and they fixed the problem for me. I had no issues afterwards except for not starting really good in the cold (it was carbureted). I had to put an electric heater on it to warm the engine before I started it in the winter. I now have a 2016 Sportsman 570 and I haven't had any issues. I haven't had issues with the CFMoto yet either and at this point, both machines has similar mileage. This coming season should be a really good test for it, as I will be riding it a lot more. If you haven't yet, you should consider subscribing to my channel. I will be posting a lot more about CFMoto this season!

  • @Bill14886
    @Bill14886 4 роки тому

    If you angled your blade to one side you would clear your driveways way way faster then pushing it straight dealing with spill over. Split the drive way in half, angle each side towards the side edge. Just a suggestion. Been plowing for over 20 years.

    a piece of advice is to abide by the CF moto manual and drive in low all the time except for high speed roads, trail and plowing low all the time

    • @GuardianGrove
      @GuardianGrove  4 роки тому

      I agree. I do keep it in low for most of the riding I do, and certainly for something like this, that can potentially put a lot of extra wear on the belt. I do the same with my Polaris and Kawasaki machines.

      I'm no longer using this plow. There's nothing wrong with it, but I switched to a KFI plow with a purpose built mount for the ZForce. It wasn't fun trying to make the universal mount work for the Kolpin, so I got the direct bolt on, front-mount KFI system instead.

    I have the 2018 uforce 500. I hate it. Turns like crap drive belt always slips, pops out of low rang and grinds and it’s gut less. Only had 90miles on it. It just sits in my enclosed trailer.

      Only has a 90day warranty on it. But the dealer I got it from took care of me free of charge and they found that it had a seised caliper. But couldn’t grind issues with belt but replaced it and gave me the old belt. No luck on the low rand popping out.
