Cops are glorified mall security guards, which mostly act as a presence to divert crime away from the immediate site. The larger the jurisdiction, the more they are bound by state laws/mandates, which affects their ability to deescalate/stop immediate threats. Having a firearm(s) for self defence and a coordinated plan with family/neighbours/tight knit community
/armed posse would be more ideal

Man, I had these type of lecturers when I was in college - constantly imposing their personal views on us. In every assignment I did, I molded my paper on what I thought would go down well with them even though I knew it was a slap in the face for impartiality. Ultimately, I got top marks throughout my time in college but looking back now I realise just how irresponsible these professors were.
Good for him… looking back at this in July 2021, I cannot appreciate this more! In a time where this action cannot be fathomed, my faith in humanity has been restored because of people like him. He should be a prime example for everyone like him who goes through this, believe me, I was one of the students whose teachers looked for those “gotcha” moments. I hope he goes into politics; he’s very well spoken for a young age and I’d gladly vote for him!

My 17 year old just told me she didn’t want to go to college and I was actually relieved. Never thought I would’ve had that reaction.

I told them that he was "the worst college teacher I have ever had at any time at this university. I never knew what he wanted or what he was trying to say." I never saw him on the instructor list again. Granted, that was a long time ago.

I will be raising my son to be nothing like this young man. We are in a sad state, this man said “ who do you call when someone has a knife or a gun?“ You call the United States Constitution and about 16 of your friends. That’s who you call.
