So glad that you are feeling better. Thank you for taking time to share these paints with us. I think they are beautiful colours, but I’m with you in that I like some texture in my paint. They would be a great starting set for someone who wants to paint botanicals.
Interesting. I have never seen Marie’s paints before. The colors are so nice and brilliant. I love my granulating so I would miss that. I am not sure I would use them given I have so many other paints I love. Thank you for demonstrating.
I really like your interesting and relaxing swatching videos! Thank you and all the best for you! I like bold colours but I also prefer interesting textures. 🎨❤️
I guess it all depends on the paper and the kind of Art that you do with them. I've seen several Art-Tubers struggle with them regardless of the paper they use, and then I see videos like yours that show them in a different perspective. And I love Chinese Watercolors too... they're more opaque and I love the coverage they provide.
Patty-I've been absent for awhile due to multiple deaths in my family last year. Ive always loved watching you swatch, so i thought ud give I t a go thus evening. Watching you add the colors to your sketchbook gave me a little bit if a lift. Thank you. Loved the picture if Baloo.
Hello, Lily! Theses aren’t really my favorites, except that permanent rose😍I think I will mix that from my Schmincke collection. I mostly watched this to hear your lovely voice. Glad you are feeling better. See you next time for my weekly dose of hope and light😘
Hi Lily, I’m so sorry that you have been poorly, I hope you’re feeling better now. Lovely video, the colours in the palette are very bright and look really nice but like you i like a more textured paint. Sending you lots of love xxx 🥰💗
Thank you Lily for swatching these for us…I had never heard of them either, they look very nice, although I like more muted watercolors for myself. Hope you continue to get better and better every day .
These look lovely, and I'm severely tempted! I tried the regular range of Marie's watercolors and was not impressed at all. They were very much a student grade quality, not even as good as the Van Gogh brand (they have a few colors I really like). I haven't found anything I like more than Daniel Smith brand so far tho.
I love Marie's masters, I bought them from Amazon @ 35$ they are really high-quality watercolors and affordable. I guess they are underrated because they are Chinese.
Sorry I missed the première... glad you are feeling better❤ never heard of these paints. Little to bright for me i think. And almost gouchy... I like the purple red , sap green, brillant purple, and burnt sienna. Thank you for the video❤
I love watching your swatching videos and I don't mean to be pedantic however you always say that some of the colors you swatch are not natural looking and I struggle with this as they are colors you see in Nature, the brilliant greens, reds, blues, pinks, oranges and yellows all exist in Mothers earths amazing palette. I understand what you are saying in that you like more earthy colors, but the brilliant ones are natural and earth colors as well. I am sorry if what I say is offensive, I don't mean it to be its just something about it that makes me feel like it's wrong. I get it I am being over fussy, but I had to put it out there. Feel free to ignore it, I just had to say it. Again I love your videos and find them very informative and lovely to watch.
Susan, not offensive at all! I love hearing other people's perspective's on colors! ☺️ Just a thought, but maybe it has to do with my surroundings, I live in the mountains, trees and greenery all around, and I don't come across those really vibrant colors, but in other places in the world, maybe there are natural greens that are that vibrant, you are right, thank you for pointing that out :)
Yes. It depends on location & climate. I am in Vermont where our local nature pallette is different from Hawaii, Costa Rica, Gilapagos Islands, Arizona, New Mexico, Alaska, Washington State or the Midwest, Deep South, Europeor Asia. It's subjective. Siberia will have a different pallette from the Feensh or Swiss Alps.

There are no “ bad” colors, just personal preferences! You point is well taken, not offensive and I fully agree with you! ClaudiaSJI
Interesting observation I enjoy thinking about this

The sap green is almost worth the whole set. :D
Hello Lily - looking forward to the premiere and hope that you are doing well! Furry nurses are wonderful caretakers 😊❤
They are 😻💕 looking forward to seeing you all 🥰
How would you compare this with qiaomei?
Pr206... Discontinued pigment? 😮
