U know what I appreciate about patmac? The fact that he keeps life interesting. That and the fact that he shows u his preparing for a task. Case in point, he was doing fly casting at home and here he is fishing for grub and peace. Awesome

Pat Mac! Started following you about the time i left fort campbell! Love all the videos. Hey if your into the ancient civilization stuff that graham hancock has been talking about and graham carlson have talked about, look into the inca indians and the similarities of all the ancient civilizations from pre history. Pretty crazy. Theres also another engineer studying the tools used on the pyramids but cant recall his name. Take care!

Thanks for making your content Pat! I share it with my Sons and you help me make field craft and other Basic Dude stuff more palatable to them because it isn't just Dad telling them why we do things a certain way. My goal is to raise my small humans to be capable and thoughtful people, thanks again for taking the time to make your content. Are ground squirrels good eating where you are at? They can carry a lot of funk out here, even the plague (literally). We have the little red ground squirrels out here, I have heard that the big fat grey tree squirrels back east are good eating. The only reason I know is because I had to cull 100s with an air rifle from my Dad's property, they breed super fast and they make up 70% of a rattlesnake's diet. My old man wasn't getting around as good and lived about an hour from a clinic and I was worried that the squirrels would cause a population explosion of rattlers and put him at risk. We ended up trapping a lot and leaving them out for the coyotes because we found out they were not good eating. The raccoons would snatch their limbs and dismember them from outside the cage! It was nuts, we thought it was the coyotes some how getting them but the game cam and it was a couple raccoons.

What do you put on the outside so that it's easy to get to?
